Cher was wearing a bag that you made for her retjenny. The one with Adam reclining. We showed it to the waiter, Arturo. He is a BIG Adam fan but has to work tonight.
She is threatening to bring a new bag tonight with a brand new pic of Adam that is so fine that, to quote asifclueless, “DED!”

Everyone looked wonderful last night! What an evening. What an exceptional time with these extraordinary people in our own private room at the restaurant.
I sat between luval and mils. I mean, who could ask for anything more?!
And we get to be together again this afternoon and then there’s this little show that we’re going to see tonight.
It’s 9:55am and I’m all dressed and ready to go!
We had a great dinner last night. The restaurant put us in a lovely room with a conference-style table so that we could all see each other. The room was a bit noisy (nothing to absorb the sound) and we were all hollering across the distance to each other at the same time. LOLS!
A new fan who is not online asked for an around the table introduction because she had something to say. This turned out to be a godsend of an idea because the introductions turned into “how I discovered Adam” moments which ranked all the way from mils’s “You had me at Mama” to riskylady’s “I was sitting at home watching the AMA’s and minding my own business…”
It also included musings about the early days on MJ’s and the start of ALL and of what the blog means to all of us. (I think the newbies just might be signing up momentarily
)
It was awesome.
Some first-time real life encounters last night: rs and ron had never met mils so she sat between them – a rose between two roses – sharing an in-the-moment meeting of minds that has been in the making for years.
Mils brought treasures as always and tonight I will be wearing a pair of crowns on my ears along with some heavy-duty plugs ‘cos we are close to the stage. I desperately want cher to wear hers in front of Billy this weekend so that he will have a good laugh when I walk into work on Tuesday wearing my pair.
Just realized this morning that we missed a chance to hear cher’s Keystone Cops experience in LA with Adam’s friends and Sauli. NVM – we can all hear it today.
Sadly, it looks like rain though….Chicago revisited.
Hi all, Sun morning (9:35) with an overcast Toronto.But light,
not rainy type.After getting updated flight info from Sacto to
Toronto, flights were okay, mostly. From Sacto to Denver, plane
(united) with six seats across; seats well padded (required at
my age) and with squirming room. From Denver to Toronto (hour
longer) smaller plane (united) with four seats across. Think
seats came from someone’s adult torture chamber; small, stiff,
and crowded. At least I was on the isle so I had one leg
room, just had to watch for the service cart. Going thru
customs at Toronto airport was okay (waited in line) and young
customs official (woman) asked “USA, where?”
“California.”
“Reason for visit?”
“Concert, visit friends.”
“What concert?”
“Queen, with Adam Lambert.”
“THE QUEEN?”
“Yes!”
“Fantastic!, have a great time!”
And she waved me thru. Then it was taxi time and on to the
hotel. Good times last night with friends and meeting new
people. Thanks all!!!!!!!
Oh BTW, mils’s earrings are inspired. The design could have been a logo for the tour and I wish someone could get a pair to Adam so he could show them to Brian and Roger. Each of them is a gorgeous crown with a capital letter “A” dangling from it. I will email a pic to AL so you can see them.
ETA: email sent. Vancouver is 3 hours behind so it will take a while but they are so cute!!!

Another ALL-er we all met for the first time last night was Sparkle, who came with her family in tow.
Her self-intro was sweet and very much underlined how much the blog means to so many of us who do not have people to share their Adam-passion with in real life. (Just thinkin’ about asifclueless as well.) It has to be affirming when your family finally sees the people you have been online with as a room full of happy, jolly people all smiles and recognition. The same thing happened with firstimerob last summer in San Diego. Also, funnbunn’s family in Chicago. Not to mention my sister, who was also at last night’s gathering.
Sparkle’s husband and kids sat in another part of the restaurant but her hubby joined the cocktail party and had a pretty good time. Turns out he is of Scottish ancestry and a military buff with a particular interest in Canadian regiments. He and the duke got into quite a discussion because there is Scottish ancestry in their family as well. I promised to bring a family photo to today’s social in hopes that Sparkle Hubby can identify my great-grandfather’s regiment through the tartan. (Dated 1888 and sepia-toned so a real long shot.)

So mils, myself and Lisa the lurker are just about done with breakfast and soon to dodging raindrops. Rehashing the fun we had last night at great get together and discussing what Adam should be doing with his career. Will keep you posted best we can. Ron, TLKC, angelowal, northern spirit are holding a swanky soirée at The Novotel pre-show where Ron will be holding court in the lobby.

I got home at 1:00am, and it’s almost 2:00am, so I will briefly say that this was one of the most incredible weekends that I’ve ever had in my life. No exaggeration!
TLKC, rs, mils, Cher and Northern Spirit had Floor level seats in the 7th row.

Security staff let them stand at the circle that’s at the end of the thrust. Many times, Adam was about 8 feet away from them. They.were.right.there.
I really do have to go to bed now. I feel so happily exhilarated but, at the same time, very, very tired.

We met Roger’s cousin outside the venue last night. He had a bracelet for a post-show backstage meeting and told us he had never met Roger before. We told him how great the concert was and also that we wanted Rufus to be Adam’s new drummer. He said he would pass it on

I need to eat something other than eggs and toast ( those of us who were there will get this ) and unpack.
Although I finally did indulge in one of luval’s cookies at the airport with a cup of coffee from the Canadian Dunkin’ Donuts whose name eludes me at the moment……hated to eat it, it was soooo purty. But tasty.
