‘The Star Spangled Banner’ Broadway Bares midnight show 6/23/13 – Video by Sam Bernero
Following a busy June with appearances at Pittsburgh Pride, all sorts of New York events and at Universal Orlando, Adam is back in California for a few open air concerts. The first one is in his childhood home of San Diego on July 2nd and then it’s on to Paso Robles on July 19th. Let’s hope that between concerts (and after) that Adam gets into the studio to work on new music.
For this month’s banner, I listened to luval‘s advice and posted a video – an impressive “Star Spangled Banner” that Adam sung before a very appreciate Broadway crowd. It’s perfect for the July 4th holiday but it’s just as amazing to listen to any time of year!

I believe Adam is saying that there is one more huge piece of news coming. Glee then Queen then RCA now either new label or Queen tour or Idol gig. Hoping he is counting wrong and we get at least two more out of the three.
I keep looking at that arts and crafts video and don’t see anything! I am such a dolt.

You know, adamized, there might be two more huge pieces of news. Adam rips out two pages from the book and he shows four fingers. Maybe he is only talking good news – Glee and Queen. (His parting with RCA is arguably not good news, though some would differ.)
I pick Idol and a new label, since the Queen Tour is more likely next year and that gives him lots of time for more clues.

I feel crappy and goopy with a sinus infection and was just going to go to bed…moth to a flame, I had to check in here first…so glad I did! Ron, the pendant is every bit as wonderful on you as we thought it would be…thank you so much for the photo! And the chain is just the right length, we went around about that for a while.
And I was all excited to think of MAC cosmetics earlier today but it looks as though I was beaten to that idea. I do think it is a possibility, we have said for ages that he needs an endorsement deal from the cosmetics he uses.
And we obviously don’t know what it all means, but I do think Adam is sending us clues, and what fun!

Pretty sure last year the final judges panel wasn’t announced till end of august, maybe even beginning of sept.
I think Adam is ripping out 2 pages because he needs something to scribble on.

Maybe he has offers from all four labels, even Sony (someone said they have others, not just RCA). Can’t believe Sony Global wants to give up the inroad with China with Adam. And DWTS – would that be a performance?

I have watched DWTS since day one. They are changing the judging panel for next season. Can’t really see Adam as a contestant but judge, maybe. Although what does he know about dancing?
Mac is an apple. Maybe like the Big Apple? He’ll be part of the NY story line on Glee?
IMHO, he could easily be both on Glee, which films in LA and will most likely be mainly filmed before Idol even begins airing in January. Even so, the judges only work for about 4-6 hours a week. There could be “time” to do both.
I just think there is so much coming Adam’s direction…
I also wonder who the special guests will be with Queen, maybe Angie? Maybe Allison? Maybe TJR?

Was watching the planning DVD for Trespassing for old times sake. It is just a cryin shame how the label let him down. He put his heart and soul into that album and at the time gave them so much credit for their support. How things have changed since he wrote his personal notes of thanks to all involved. Sauli, RCA, gone…history.
But he mentions those he collaborated with in writing the music and Pharrel is first followed by Drew C. Hmmm anyone have a clue? Grasping at straws here…
Here’s what I’m hoping for on Glee, lots of Adam’s friends to have pop-ins, Megan Hilty, Anna Kendrick ( who was amazeballs in Pitch Perfect and has a hit song right now ), Allison Porter, etc.

Does anyone here think that Michelle from the Voice, could end up on Glee also? She and Darren Criss were college buddies…her voice is fantastic, and her backstory is interesting. IMHO

tchrsd, I read what you had to say about the magazine Aura, and decided to order one. Some say they don’t like to buy things that Adam doesn’t financially benefit from but I’ve bought magazines, jewelry, clothes, etc. that didn’t benefit him any financially and this looks well done and I like a hard copy. Thanks for reminding me that it was something I would enjoy. Loved your review of the Paso Robles show. I must say you rock.
Okay, here’s my two cents. Agree on the Big Apple – NYC for Glee. Think that the mountains represent going on Idol (Because of the No Boundaries song lyric – I thought of it before I saw ulti’s comment.) As for DREW equaling Dancing with the Stars – that’s what I independently came up with D – Dancing, W – with, E – the, and R – Stars. Remember Adam doesn’t want to make these clues too easy!

When I saw the word “accident” as part of the mix, I thought of a “happy accident” like a happy coincidence in that he met someone that lead to Adam being cast in “Glee” or who gave the seal of approval for him to be a judge on Idol.
Mountains, to me, represent an obstacle. Maybe he’s figuratively climbed over a mountain, a hurdle, that’s been in his way that has now opened new doors for him.
I don’t know.
