‘The Star Spangled Banner’ Broadway Bares midnight show 6/23/13 – Video by Sam Bernero

Following a busy June with appearances at Pittsburgh Pride, all sorts of New York events and at Universal Orlando, Adam is back in California for a few open air concerts. The first one is in his childhood home of San Diego on July 2nd and then it’s on to Paso Robles on July 19th. Let’s hope that between concerts (and after) that Adam gets into the studio to work on new music.

For this month’s banner, I listened to luval‘s advice and posted a video – an impressive “Star Spangled Banner” that Adam sung before a very appreciate Broadway crowd. It’s perfect for the July 4th holiday but it’s just as amazing to listen to any time of year!

    I am so continually proud to be a fan of the man.

    I actually like the shirt, always did, and was one of those who thought the triangles might be symbolic.

    Loooooove the creepers. Just love ’em.

    I am hoping for more HD vids of the show.

    I don’t even know what to say to eywflyer.

    Obviously this wasn’t an easy decision. I just hope that whatever drove you to this decision wasn’t something that happened here. I truly hope that you feel comfortable at some time in the future to come back.

    We have all talked about this at times, but, this blog has become so important to so many of us, on different levels for each of us. It is so much more than just a typical fansite. So many of us have become real life friends too.

    I just feel so very sad about this. It’s like a friend has decided to move away. Sorry to be so maudlin, but this blog is part of my world, my everyday life. Not just for the fandom and the awesomeness that is Adam,but to check out the responses, the jokes, the humor, the angst about things.

    Please know that there is so much appreciation for what you do. More than you could know. Kiss Rose Peace

    Was on the treadmill just now watching the Fourth of July celebration from the Mall. Midway announcer says – now – Darren Criss will sing “Shout.” Fortunately, it was not THAT Shout, but the gospel-like one. He was on his back on the floor at one point. Not a fan, but at least he’s lively.

    So the very next night at LiveProud he wore his shirt untucked and long.

    Could she have yet another hit song in another decade?

    Is she going for an all-time record?

    Funny, mils…I did not notice the GB in San Diego. In fact I thought it was odd since his pants were so tight. Even when he was lying down I looked specifically for it Big Smile , but didn’t notice. I was even thinking of you! LOL! Maybe it was the angle where I was sitting. The pics show something totally different.

    Where on tv was Cher?

    Cher was on the live show hosted by Nick Cannon. I think NBC.

    She has devoted fans. It’ll show up on You Tube. She looked fantastic. Those pics and vids we saw from that event in NY the other night did her no justice at all.

    Tomorrow night going to see Daughtry and Three Doors Down in Solomons, MD. Sold out – prices weren’t cheap.

    Have fun. Daughtry is awesome. I’ve never seen him live, but hope to someday. A couple of years ago he was a headliner at Summerfest, and I was front row center for BB King at the stage right next to him, and you could hear some of Daughtry’s show “bleeding” over to BB’s set. The crowd was going crazy for Daughtry. I think he was opening for, maybe John Mayer. And then John Mayer came out to play with BB. Incredible.

    One of the most memorable moments on Idol was his surprise elimination. What a stunner.

    ulti…his mustache really looks fake. Like you could just rip it off with one good swipe. Maybe it IS fake and he takes it off every night before bed. I think he could connect it with the chin scruff.

    LOL…at the AT&T interview somebody could have asked him when he was going to shave it. His answer probably would have been something like “when I feel like it”. Smile

    If I’m honest have to say I abhor the 4th of July. Not what it stands for, of course but the idiots out there. It is a war zone in my neighborhood. The deaf dog wouldn’t go out. The cat is hiding somewhere in the house. Worse than ever this year.
