‘The Star Spangled Banner’ Broadway Bares midnight show 6/23/13 – Video by Sam Bernero

Following a busy June with appearances at Pittsburgh Pride, all sorts of New York events and at Universal Orlando, Adam is back in California for a few open air concerts. The first one is in his childhood home of San Diego on July 2nd and then it’s on to Paso Robles on July 19th. Let’s hope that between concerts (and after) that Adam gets into the studio to work on new music.

For this month’s banner, I listened to luval‘s advice and posted a video – an impressive “Star Spangled Banner” that Adam sung before a very appreciate Broadway crowd. It’s perfect for the July 4th holiday but it’s just as amazing to listen to any time of year!

    Question – on the Glee/MJ thread Axxxel put up a vid of scene where Lea (dressed in red dress and hat) was on a train – saying goodbye to a guy (CM?)- and going to the Big City. Was that the end of last season?

    Jokes … I love jokes. Ulti, your dumb books jokes are hilarious. Do you have links of jokes?

    I’m careful about telling ethnic jokes because I don’t want to offend or hurt anybody.

    The Asian jokes … I’m an Asian from Bangkok. I’m more of a parent of those kids; so the joke is on me.
    My daughter is a Third Culture Kid like your kids … HK fan. She is an Amerasian who was born and raised not in her parents’ homelands. We moved around a lot because of our jobs. She graduated from an International School where as at least 40 different nationalities students attended. I wish she was with me right now but she’d rather go to South Africa and makes friends with the lions and the giraffs. She sent me some great photos.
    So a lot of those signs are true.

    ulti, that was the previous season. Rachel and Finn had called off their wedding after graduation so that she could follow her dream in NYC.

    I loved your post, sistasif. It is much easier to raise a child who is dependent and unsure of herself than a strong and independent child who can spread her wings and soar! You have every reason to be proud of yourself, as well as of your daughter.

    I saw that talked about yesterday Ron, but didn’t see any confirmation of it.
    Why do they have to be at such a massive event?…from a selfish standpoint of course. Are the dates on that Sept 21 & 22?

    The exposure at iHeart concert will be huge, but tickets are really hard to get, and I can’t go that weekend. Frown

    What do you think they’ll sing? – how many songs? – they’ll end the show? – a long set of some kind?

    What are these concerts like – all those performers – separate stages – how is it arranged? So many questions.

    Makes me happy to see that Adam and Sauli obviously still enjoy each other’s company.
    I am tremendously curious if Adam is just preparing for Glee right now or at the same time working on new music (and a new label). Interesting times for him. A little downtime with Sauli might be just the thing to relax.
    I don’t even know what to say about Cory. Don’t know much about him, but it is so sad for such a young talented man to fall victim to drugs.

    I don’t know if it’s valid, it may be, but the list I saw didn’t include Queen + AL, which is why I questioned the info. I hope it’s true and that it will lead to more concerts. Including at least one that I can attend. Fingers Crossed

    I think last year’s iHeart concert was streamed online with a large viewing and tickets sold out in minutes.

    ETA I understand it was also on TV. I remember watching parts of it.
    It is a big deal and if the rumor is true, this could be an introductory of Queen + Adam to the US.
    Hoping here for some North American shows!

    I saw a Good Morning America tweet last night that Ryan Seacrest, Keith Urban and Miley Cyrus would be making a big announcement on their show this morning. Thought it might be about Idol judges but now it seems that Miley and Ryan, at any rate, are involved in the iHeart event. Fingers crossed that this is the rumour.

    Re: Adam and Sauli out together yesterday. I love it that Adam is friends with all his exes. Some ugly comments below Just Jared’s column, as usual. The Adommy Crays are a tenacious bunch. I pity for Adam’s next boyfriend, whoever he will be, and hope that he isn’t heavily into twitter.

    There is another rumour out there that RCA might re-release Trespassing. I can’t see the Shoshanna tweet that everyone is talking about (but apparently no one else can see it either, lol.)

    Can’t think of any scenario in which that would make sense. Anyone here heard the rumour or has any ideas about how/why this would work?

    You’d think there was enough real Adam news over the last few days to render wild rumours pointless but apparently not.

    Okay help me here. It will probably have to be fashionista nkd. People are claiming that Sauli is wearing Adam's sunglasses, belt and tank top in yesterday's pics. I take the tank top with a boulder-sized grain of salt – those two are such different sizes – but the belt and sunglasses? I am simply not observant enough. Enquiring minds want to know.

    Yikes. Methinks she has been enabled by photoshop and an industry that put their short term profits above her long term interests. Thank goodness that Adam, in spite of imbibing a bit too much on occasion, is so obviously aware of the connection between healthy living and good looks.

    ETA: if it doesn’t open on her photo – she is #6 of 9. Trivial, I know, but it shocked me. Off to watch GMA now. Hoping for good news.
