‘The Star Spangled Banner’ Broadway Bares midnight show 6/23/13 – Video by Sam Bernero

Following a busy June with appearances at Pittsburgh Pride, all sorts of New York events and at Universal Orlando, Adam is back in California for a few open air concerts. The first one is in his childhood home of San Diego on July 2nd and then it’s on to Paso Robles on July 19th. Let’s hope that between concerts (and after) that Adam gets into the studio to work on new music.

For this month’s banner, I listened to luval‘s advice and posted a video – an impressive “Star Spangled Banner” that Adam sung before a very appreciate Broadway crowd. It’s perfect for the July 4th holiday but it’s just as amazing to listen to any time of year!

    I so sincerely hope that they have him in New York. Singing his fricking gorgeous face off with Curt Colfer and Leah Michelle.

    Leah has mentioned that she wants him on Glee so many times. He has met Chris and Matthew Morrison many times, and I’m sure has links to Glee in several other ways, besides his audition for Finn when they told him he was “too old.”

    I’m also pretty sure that Leah knew Adam at Upright.

    Oh, I wish we were all together and could give each other some real versus virtual hugs. Amazing news always happens when I’m in San Francisco with my Aunt with crappy internet service and limited access to a computer. Had to get to a real computer for this though. Can’t miss all the flailing!!!!! No wonder Adam has been so closed mouth lately. I think there is more exciting news around the corner.

    Hmmm. Maybe he was apartment hunting when he was in NY a couple of weeks ago. Part time in LA and part time in NY. Not even sure if they film in NY but would be wonderful having him on the east coast part of the year. Leah has always been so complementary of him. Would love to see them duet. Can’t wait to see him on my TV screen again.

    OMG, a regular cast member means he gets to earn some real moola and have his songs from the show on iTunes, and maybe this could lead to some big screen deals, and maybe he can even have the opportunity to showcase his own music and…..did I say YEAH!

    Sorry, but I have lots of pent up emotions. I’ve been reading the blog for the past week without the opportunity to post. So glad I got to a computer this afternoon. Perfect timing.

    This is GREAT news!!! Love Glee and was disappointed that Smash was cancelled. Remember those pics with Darren Criss a few months ago. Wow! I am so excited for him. I went to finish catching up and saw the top of this page after we started slipping a bit to the negative (half empty) side and now the glass is overflowing. Lea has wanted to work with him since Glee first started and now they are going to have this opportunity. And isn’t Glee all about doing covers of songs? So an album of covers wouldn’t be out of context as a Glee cast member!!!

    So I have been doing my computer work, ate dinner, checked on MJs and here, and WTF Adam is on Glee! I stopped watching a couple years ago. Is this good for Adams career? Its a paying job, but are we happy that it will further his singing career? I just dont know what to think? Is he continuing to make new songs? Oh my, too much news about him, my head is swimming. I rather he pee in a bucket! J/K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    And to add to this, can he still do American Idol? A lot of jobs just like Ryan Seacrest! Laugh Well he will be on our TV and thats a good thing. Think the stupid I mean cool stach, and beard, will go away, we dont need him looking too old. What will he sing? Well he have a love interest?     I can just see Adam popping up on lots of stuff, on Sean Hayes’ new show, on Idol as a mentor, or even still as a judge, with Megan Hilty somewhere in her next project, etc.

    I’m thinking that his comment at his show about “practicing my comedy” was very intentional….

    And, there has to be a reason he was at the Brad Pitt movie premiere. Why was he there? Who placed him there? Who did he shmooze with? What connections were made?

    I have never seen Glee but I gather this is huge? Is Glee on network TV? Or is it cable? I thought it was about high school students? Would Adam be a faculty member? He is clearly too old to e a HS student. I assume it is on every week? That HAS to be good.
    Love the idea of that vine being his telling us in advance!

    Krads sweetie, Glee is HUGE! That’s why we are squeeing so hard here! It’s on Fox. Has sold millions of CD’s and songs. Tops of Billboard every week.

    It’s set in High School, and as of last year, in New York as several characters graduated and went to school there.
