‘The Star Spangled Banner’ Broadway Bares midnight show 6/23/13 – Video by Sam Bernero

Following a busy June with appearances at Pittsburgh Pride, all sorts of New York events and at Universal Orlando, Adam is back in California for a few open air concerts. The first one is in his childhood home of San Diego on July 2nd and then it’s on to Paso Robles on July 19th. Let’s hope that between concerts (and after) that Adam gets into the studio to work on new music.

For this month’s banner, I listened to luval‘s advice and posted a video – an impressive “Star Spangled Banner” that Adam sung before a very appreciate Broadway crowd. It’s perfect for the July 4th holiday but it’s just as amazing to listen to any time of year!

    So I had been thinking all day as more and more of us gathered at the hotel and then headed off to the fish restaurant that I really wished that cwm could join us, since she was nearby, but I knew that she was busy with her rl family. We had a great meal and on our way out, who do I see but cwm! I thought that she read about the fish restaurant on the blog and came to find us, but she and her family just happened to come to the same place. There were so many hugs and screams all around, the rest of the diners (to say nothing of her family) must have thought we were certifiably nuts, or had at the very least found long lost relatives.

    AL, it sounds like the San Diego thread is needed a bit early to keep all of those posts in one place for future research, reference, and just plain good memories.
    So many ALLers are there that it would be a shame to lose any of their posts. Some are now in June thread, and it looks like there will be quite a lot in this thread before tomorrow.
    Could the concert thread go up early, please?

    Some people have wondered whether Adam might be coming into San Diego today. We need to remember that he has a show in LA tonight, before his show in SD tomorrow. Remember that he is doing that super private, super small, super intimate gig for the winners of the ATT/Trevor Project Live Proud contest? That show is tonight in LA.

    Of course, we have no idea whether we’ll get any live tweets, pics, or videos out of it. But it would be cool if we did. Smile

    ETA: Or is the private ATT/Trevor Project gig on July 3 rather than July 1? Now I’m confused.

    I think that this concert could be one for the record books, and when we look back we will want everything neatly in one place for research and recollections.

    Don’t know why people kept shouting for Adam to take his clothes off in Orlando…I find it much more intriguing and sexy to catch little glimpses of his stomach like this….just little hints of what may lie underneath!!!

    Gee, after doing this, this morning, I had to realize that I haven’t completely recovered from when I strained my voice. It’s taking a long time!

    I think that it’s such a fun song though that I gave it a shot anyway.

    (I FINALLY figured out how to properly calibrate my microphone! All the previous videos I’ve made were being recorded through my PC speakers with my mic input only at about 5%.) Rolls Eyes

    I have some upsetting news about our dear Ceddies.

    She was kind enough to email me today and she has asked me to share some of that email with you.

    (1) May 31, I was driving home from a couple of days mini-vacay out of town. I stopped to get gas in Tupelo, MS, which is about 70 miles from me. I managed to trip over the gas hose that was connected to my car. It catapulted me to the ground, and I got a concussion according to the CT from the hospital. I had to call my brother and his wife to come drive me and my car home. I was very sick for about two weeks. I did not drive my car during that time because I was so dizzy, had to hold the outside walls of my house in order to go feed the 14 year old outside dog that I had adopted to keep her from being abandoned.

    (2) In the midst of this head injury trauma, my computer got attacked by Malware (I guess). I have lost all my logins, passwords, etc. Some of them have been reestablished, but there are others that I cannot get back into–even with new passwords and logins. OF COURSE, our Adam blog is the main one that I can’t get back into. They keep telling me that I can’t get in because someone else has this isp address–or some such message–that’s what I think they’re saying. Anyway, I don’t have it in me at this time to figure out how else to work around this.

    (3) I CAN READ ON THE BLOG, BUT I CANNOT LOG-IN TO POST. So I want to thank you for the birthday wishes on the blog as well as FB. Everyone is so caring.

    (4) If you don’t mind, I would like for you to share on the blog that I can’t log on and comment even though I can read there.

    Hopefully, I will get to the point that I can figure out how to get back onblog.

    I know you can read this Ceddies and I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through such a difficult time!

    Probably should have posted on the Orlando thread but this was the first chance I had and its late now. The concert was amazing and no the crowd estimate was not 19,000, but it was packed as could be. There was a diverse mix of people there, more younger people than at any other concert I’ve been to, and it was HOT!! Adam was so happy and playful and just so into the concert it was amazing. I met

    and the Duke earlier in the day, then we got separated as she said if you left your spot it was hard to get back to it. But a great concert for us Floridians, hope its great for you peeps in SD as well.
