Exciting times are upon us as July begins! Adam has just completed an outstanding first full length concert with Queen at a charity event in Kiev, Ukraine (as captured in the photo above). Five more Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are lined up for Moscow, Wroclaw (Poland) and London during the next couple of weeks. Adam will then return to the United States to play a series of solo concerts during the second half of the month, including gigs in Costa Mesa, Sacramento, Des Moines, Thackerville (Oklahoma), and a much anticipated return to the site of one of his first and most memorable concerts at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. All told, Adam will perform in 10 live concerts this month, which will make this his busiest month for live performances since November 2010 when he was in the European portion of the Glam Nation Tour. Ron, that was a really interesting CNN article. I’d like very much to hear Adam giving his views about it. What say we call him and invite him out to chat with us? Hmmm…shall we go to LA, or do you think we could get him to go to Toronto? He likes Canada, and so do I, so I’d be happy to join you two there.
I think it’ll definitely be Cuckoo or Trespassing as the next single, although I’d quite like it to be Shady, and I know my 18yo son thinks Sam Sparrow is pretty cool, so that link might help with the teen demographic. I don’t really mind which it is though, just hope that he has his video ready to go when the song is released, he usually seems to leave the video too late, the last 2 singles have already been losing momentum when he’s released the video.
p.s was at the pool yesterday, and somebody had left their clothes hanging on the peg, and on top was a pair of black and yellow striped pants……I just seem to think of tresspassing and Adam everywhere!!!!!

Ron…thank you more than I can say. I have never seen that photo – only the larger uncropped photo where my head is a little dot! – and seeing it brought back such wonderful memories! I can remember exactly how I felt when that photo was taken…quiet joy that we were all together, hoping that the rumor of new music was true, reveling in the sound of the French voices around us, hearing bits and pieces of your conversation with nekkid and ceddies and adamized on the blanket…enjoying the cool evening air…watching the activity on stage and in the sound booth, delighting in the wonderful vantage point that nekkid and I had scoped out the night before…and thinking that the night would pass too quickly…which it did, of course.
And now you have brought it all back again.
Put on Winstar thread – but the Kickin In by DancyGeorgia is really good. The video is slightly blurry, but the audio is fantastic and Adam is dead center on the screen with all the “great moves.”

Kradamour, in the original photo, you were just a dot. When I found you in that mass of people and enlarged it, I knew I was seeing something special. Look at how almost everyone else is looking the other way and then … there you are.
Took a bit of doing to get rid of some pixels and digital noise to make it clear, and wish I could make it clearer, but I did the best I could.
At any rate, I think you look striking and I’m so glad you like the photo. It brings back wonderful memories for me too.

We are back from DesMoines. Arrived last night. And ended with a trip to the emergency with my partner. She’s ok. Because she has aneurisms we always have to check that out when she has pain.
Wow what a trip we had. Brought two friends – they came home converts!! I will recap later today. So much had the thrill to meet and talk the ear off Milws. HEHE. She returned the favor.

Dunno about working for radio stations, mils, but I know that I have joined about a dozen radio points clubs for stations in cities where I think I might go to a concert. You never know when you might want to enter for VIP seats. #planningahead

And here’s that interview that we’ve seen from Endfest on July 20th. At about 3:08 the dj says about Queen “you’re done with that” and Adam says his infamous “for now”.
At about 4:50 is where the dj brings up Idol and Adam says “It’s over???…..”

I listened to that Sacramento interview again that you posted, Adam said about Idol, “it could happen”. So until I hear otherwise, it could happen!
I loved that radio convo from Des Moines about the guy driving Adam to the airport. No matter how little radio play he gets, Adam is a STAR! He is someone that interviewers go gaga over. I just love them falling all over themselves talking about him!
Love that cover photo…that shirt is still my favorite of his entire closet, it is so different from everything else and it was so perfect when he was holding baby Riff.

For glambotgram and me, it will always be the elevator shirt. I remember distinctly that the shirt was the first thing I saw (my eyes kind of wandering from the floor up) and I immediately recognized it and then I just thought oh my god that’s HIM.
Haha turquoisewaters. I will always think of that shirt as the lobby shirt! It was jarring to see it in person after seeing in on my dinky little computer screen for so long.
