Exciting times are upon us as July begins! Adam has just completed an outstanding first full length concert with Queen at a charity event in Kiev, Ukraine (as captured in the photo above). Five more Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are lined up for Moscow, Wroclaw (Poland) and London during the next couple of weeks. Adam will then return to the United States to play a series of solo concerts during the second half of the month, including gigs in Costa Mesa, Sacramento, Des Moines, Thackerville (Oklahoma), and a much anticipated return to the site of one of his first and most memorable concerts at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. All told, Adam will perform in 10 live concerts this month, which will make this his busiest month for live performances since November 2010 when he was in the European portion of the Glam Nation Tour. I just did some lurking at MJs.
I think that MJ is smelling demise of AI and is trying to branch out posting about other reality shows, but the problem is – are her readers interested in various clones of Talent Reality shows?
The worst part of MJ blog are “Six degrees of separation” threads – do I really want to know what happened with Judges and their families?
We have now 110 former Idolettes and at least some of them are successful enough to bring everyday news.
Do I really want to follow “One Direction” and “Carly- call me maybe”?? NO.
Since MJ keeps on deleting my posts for no apparent reasons, I decided to add my comment about weather in EVERY thread…..

Wow we get another single after all! I wasn’t at all sure that we would. Does seem that it has to be Cuckoo or Trespassing as the broadcast of PLL will fall within the active period of the next single. I’m guessing Cuckoo. It will need a radio edit but that’s not unusual and shouldn’t be a problem.
Now have to hope it or whatever the single is can get played!
So RCA still supports Adam, believes in him, and will continue to back him up! This is great news on several different levels.
Does this mean yet another round of traveling to radio stations to give interviews and performances? Seems like he just got back from doing all that.

This time, for the 3rd single, I want Adam to do a mass flooding of appearances on every TV show where he can get a booking. (Even Dr. Phil or Judge Judy). All of them! Become a “darling of the talk show circuit” and … radio play will follow? I have to know the two won’t necessarily go hand in hand but it can’t hurt and it’s worth a try.

You know what I’m looking at now that’s right next to my computer? Last year’s ticket to Ste.-Agathe. It was 1 year ago tonight!! Right about now, I was sitting on Milkywayfairy’s balcony (she had her own private balcony at the SpaWatel!) with TLKC and Northern Spirit having some wine. The weather was gorgeous. We were all so happy!

According to that tweet, he’s taking one week off. Hopefully appearances will start after that. Yes…every show. I still hope for Piers Morgan. He always does his homework and asks good questions.
The fall shows will be starting up in a few weeks. Ellen, SNL (October, I think). But many are not on repeat. The Talk, The View, Kelly. Cuckoo or Pop That Lock!

Taking a quick break to share the excitement about Adam’s announcement of a new single. YAY!!! Folks are pretty sure it will be Cuckoo. That’s fine with me. If we are really wishing let’s wish that the release coincides with his announcement of getting the AI job.
Looking over commments regarding TJ. luval, I used the word uncomfortable since I couldn’t quite find the right word I was looking for in regard to how he stands, holds the guitar, and moves around the stage. It is almost like the weight of the guitar and the concentration he needs to perform are making him seem awkward. Ashley is fairly non-emotive but she looks comfortable with her instrument and has a very good bearing IMO. Hmmm, don’t think I’m doing a very good job of explaining myself. TJ is not that shy. I have seen him several times after shows and he is always open to lots of fan interaction.
Back to work. Getting my son ready for his departure for medical school. I think I am way more nervous than he is. Wish I were in St Agathe instead!

When I think about the two songs…Cuckoo & PopThatLock…love them both but I think Cuckoo would be the light summer-ish song. Now I hate that Carly Rae Jepson’s Call Me Maybe, but it does have that poppy happy vibe to it. Cuckoo I think is happy & poppy-ish. And I think the news talking heads could insert “cuckoo” when talking about the elections.
Pop That Lock is fierce & dancey. A great follow-up.

I don’t think “Pop That Lock” is a contender, luval. As eywflyer (waves Hi!) mentioned, he’s singing “Cuckoo” and “Trespassing” on PLL. It almost definitely will be one of those and I’m happy with either one as the next release.

I haven’t changed my avi before, but I see quite a few things changing in my life and thought it might be time for a new one to represent that. And the old fleur de lys was glittery, this one is more natural, kinda like our boy.
Ron…I wouldn’t admit it to anyone else (well, I guess I am telling a lot of people with this post…) but I still have Ste Agathe mud on my shoes, too. I have almost cleaned them several times, but never do.
Turn back time, indeed…that was an amazing, amazing concert for so many reasons, many of them the peeps on this blog. I met you and adamized and luval and ceddies and nekkid and eywflyer and jlurksacto and riskylady and our royalty the duke and dutchess and TLKC and not gonna go on from there because I will stupidly forget someone! but we know who we are…it was the first Sauli sighting…the first OOL/new music…first concert since January…and it was in Quebec!

Next single(s): I would love a sassy one now, and MAP after. I heard Map playing over the sound system at HMV store in London, and it sounded just beautiful, plus gorgeous lyrics and ear-wormy – a love song for anyone.
OT, though: LOVING those little snippets of ooooh’s and yeaaah’s Adam is singing before actual songs now – his voice just sounds so, so lovely, much like that old “Dust in the Wind” video. He did it during the Queen concerts too.
Anyway, listen to the very first part of this video from Poland where he (his voice) has a musical conversation with Brian’s guitar. Then at the end of the song, they do it again.

On mj’s headline thread people are discussing what the new single could be. Most seem happy with Cuckoo if that turns out to be. Shady or Trespassing or Pop That Lock second.
Riskylady…I noticed that too and thought he was warming up to jump into the actual song. I thought it might be something in his background training…a little humming up & down so he can hit that first note perfectly. So pretty.

WWFM is my least favorite of all Adam songs, such a yawn (IMHO) but I do
enjoysort of like this new version that he has been doing.very good observation, riskylady. I think from a practical point of view, it allows him/the sound guy to fix any sound issues before the actual song starts. In San Antonio, he did it before WWFM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDXnCWSwV2I&feature=player_embedded#! which is the first slow song after TP, KI,Shady. It also provides a good transition for the listener, and yes, it is oh so pretty.

Evening ladies and gents!
New single, that’s wonderful! I don’t know what to want – I like so many of these songs live. But I vote Cuckoo I think… And I agree with some of you that if there will be a country judge on AI I won’t watch it again…
This girlie feels SO out of everything… One week totally without internet in the well-equipped wilderness and last two days slightly inside 3G network, but it’s been more off than veeery slooowly on… I have felt like a kid next to a large amount of candy, but can’t reach any of it because of a thick glass wall
This means I know there’s a lot of videos and happenings and conversation and tweets but I can’t get them open – until tonight 
I’ve really missed this, also this communication!!
Now I’ve been watching some videos from Fantacy Springs and WinStar Casino for a starter. But I have a lot of things to catch up – so many concerts during my absence. But it really looked like Adam have got extra energy from Queen concerts, and keeps moving more and sexier than in previous short concerts
Please tell me the best moments or videos where to start if you have any preferences! I’d be so grateful. I saw the first part songs of Winstar with red pants – Wow! Those moves… And it seemed like the band was interacting slightly more. You can see that Adam wants that! After watching his joy while playing with Brian and Roger – I know he’d like to have that with his own band too. This is still light years away from it.
Because I could not watch anything new during this time, I had fun with my Queenbert vids from London I managed to save before I left. I also showed them to our guests at the holiday place, on big tv screen. I think I really changed some people’s views about Adam! One of them said she couldn’t stand Adam – she didn’t like his make-up, turned the radio off if she heard his songs (had only heard WWFM and IIHY) and thought he was just a stupid pop star. I defenitely corrected that. Well, after Queen show she asked for more, thought he sang and performed very well. I showed her GNT video and live NCOE and live acoustic WWFM. She really liked NCOE and also that version of WWFM and older live stuff too! And got used to the make up too
Later I noticed she examined Trespassing CD very carefully (read lyrics etc.) So I really think some people has to see Adam performing live to understand! I love his live performances more than the songs on the album, because those artificial sounds are gone, his voice is so great with it’s pure sound and with the live band there’s more rocky sound I like. I really wish I could see him “live” live with his own songs! Lucky you all there, I bet you’ve got great time in these concerts!

Hope you get well soon. So many got bad flu etc from London, I felt that too when my holiday started about a week ago but was lucky to beat it before it hit properly. Cool and rainy weather continued the whole holiday week, but now we have a very moist steamy heat wave with thunder… So I haven’t got home yet, I am escaping the heat – which is nothing compared to your 100F (!!!) but too much for my Northern tolerance.

krad: I am with you on the WWFM is a yawn song. I am just in awe how Adam can sing it (for the 200th time) live and still make it sound like he just lived it and pull every iota of emotion out of that song. In the hands of anybody else this song would be a total dud.

LadyNorth I knew you meant special performances, I was just having some fun with you. My problem with picking out special performances is I love just about everything he does. He can change a song so much that it brings something new and special each time he sings so I am just mesmerized. All the recent OOL performances are great. The whole FS concert is great, he was on Fire, but so is the whole WinStar set.
