Exciting times are upon us as July begins! Adam has just completed an outstanding first full length concert with Queen at a charity event in Kiev, Ukraine (as captured in the photo above). Five more Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are lined up for Moscow, Wroclaw (Poland) and London during the next couple of weeks. Adam will then return to the United States to play a series of solo concerts during the second half of the month, including gigs in Costa Mesa, Sacramento, Des Moines, Thackerville (Oklahoma), and a much anticipated return to the site of one of his first and most memorable concerts at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. All told, Adam will perform in 10 live concerts this month, which will make this his busiest month for live performances since November 2010 when he was in the European portion of the Glam Nation Tour. HK fan, Take care of yourself! The weather is crazy the whole world over. Doid you see that London is broiling now? I am glad that it was cold and rainy when we were there. I prefer that to the heat, especially considering that it was 104 (40 celcius)here when I came home!
aww, thanks guys…I’m so p****d off about London rs, we had rain ecery day there, while it was beautifully hot and sunny at home, then almost as soon as we got home the weather changed to perfect in London, with a typhoon here…The only positive is, that as my helper is away for 2 weeks, I can’t get out very much as its really hard for me on my own with my disabled son, so at least we’re not stuck in doors with sunny weather
anyways. the floods have gone down now. The HK drainage system is pretty amazing and usually everything is clear within 30mins of the heavy rains stopping.
And cwm, he enjoyed being out in the rain, just looked on it like a swimming pool!
Thanks for that link nkd, I managed to watch about 5 songs on their but the rest seem to have been deleted, and when I went to that other link I got the 4 sec advert, but couldn’t seem to find the videos. Will try again later. If anyone has a copy of a dvd that they made of it that they could send me a copy of I’d be very grateful, and will pay costs. I would just love a decent copy of him singing with Queen, even though I love the fan vids.

Think I’ve watched every available version of Chokehold from FS (prefer MsBabyjazz and the one from TALC just posted on AQD), and just have to say that is one slow, sultry performance and the man is a sexy beast.

Speaking about paying, it looks like Queen was paid 1 mil for their Moscow gig, however their expenses must’ve be enormous (26 trucks of equipment alone).
I’ve had it with heat this year summer, and it’s not even August yet.

Eywflyer, I want to thank you once again for creating this blog. People who “come” here feel the warmth and positivity of posters, we can express ourself without fear of being mocked and criticized for our opinions or shameless flailing.
I believe that blogs that have positive vibe will last , blogs that are spewing vitriol and negativity are dying by their own actions. I lurked at VFTW, number of comments on every thread is shrinking, and basically is done by the same small group of posters. The infamous TopIdol (a.k.a let’s hate Adam Lambert together) is completly dead,another little blog that I check from time to time chocked on it’s own venom.

That’s encouraging info, Oksana. Just today someone posted on MJ’s about lack of comments there – particularly about the new Idol Tour – very few interested apparently.
Another post a few days ago – think was either taken down or eliminated – conjectured that Adam fans were leaving the blog because of the animus – might be – know I’ve lost interest. Posters would say things about him that were so OTT nasty that it simply became disheartening to go there.
So, yes, more thanks that I can ever express, eywflyer for this safe haven – like coming home when I log in.

Ulti, do you remember AI concert threads on MJ in 2009? Each one had hundreds of comments. I also noticed complete lack of interest in new Idol Tour. I still check MJ’s, but very,very seldom make a comment, since even the most innocent ones are removed by MJ. Once I made short comment that “if Adam become very successful,a lot of peeps would never forgive him for that”… It was removed. Why???
But one can say that he/she can’t stand Adam and his shrieking voice and that he is a failure and according to MJ it’s OK. Go figure..
It is so easy to determine who the “haters” are, and whose fans they are.
Usually they are fans of fallen Idols (Clay,Davids,Kris). Fans of successful ones do not have to prove anything, so I don’t see negativity from Carrie/Kelly/Daughtry stans..
AL, Costa Mesa wasn’t free concert, maybe he felt that people have to do something for 2 hours, hence opening act.

Yes, Oksana – remember those days of hundreds of posts for each concert during the 2009 Tour. Now relatively nothing. Do you think because there’re so many competing shows? Or AI just getting boring with the WGWG’s? Think Simon was a big draw – it was the reason my daughter told me originally to watch.
(At MJ’s there was a video of Gokey singing “Hero” after being mentored by Mariah Carey (on the MC thread yesterday). Randy, Kara, and Paula were all gaga – best thing since chopped liver, etc. – and then Simon chimed in – “now back to the real world” – so funny – so true.
I think, too, the candidates of S8 seemed more mature than the batches we’ve been getting lately – more interesting.
Who knows – there’s only one I’m truly interested in – and he takes up a LOT of my time. Not that I’m complaining – lol.
