Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

Thursday evening July 7th update: thanks to angelowal, we now have a translated link to FAQs for the Festival!

Ron, so happy to hear that your health has improved Smile. I’m not surprised though – Adam has been therapeutic for so many of us. I believe he truly is a Shaman.

Shaman are spiritual beings with the ability to heal, work with energies and ‘see’ visions. The essential characteristics of shaman are mastery of energy and fire as a medium of transformation

I agree, radio announcement is not poop worthy!

Think that might depend on radio announcement content.

OMG-This has been one of the hardest secrets we’ve ever had to keep! Like iheartradio to hear the BIG announcement first! http://ow.ly/5zWam

Mailman just delivered my Passport documentation (booklet). I am now free to travel outside the US. Still awaiting my festival passport like everyone else.

Wow! So excited for whatever news is gonna make us so excited that we possibly “soil ourselves”, lol. Could it be the new single?

It very well could be, Texas. He did say we should be expecting one during the summer, and we haven’t heard anything to the contrary since that statement. If this is the case, then you peeps who are attending the concert in Canada will be in for such a treat. Adam, no doubt, would be peforming it live for the first time.
    Agh — Can. Not. Wait!!

Actually he did revise his timeline & if the album is released in Nov then don’t expect a single until no later than about 6 weeks out:

    @adamlambert Adam Lambert

@ashtash not gonna release a single until album is finalized…
    5 Jun

  6. jlurksacto says:

This might be of interest to those driving from the lower 48 for
the concert. Just talked to car insurance agent about going to
Canada. She said I needed a Canadian ID card – insurance info; and
it would be mailed to me no cost.

Wear it proud luval! Just channel Diana Ross, that’s what I do!

Can’t wait to hear what “the big announcement” is!

  8. Ron says:

You’re going to be fine, luval. You can always use my flat iron, or Spiking Glue or Freeze Spray or … all three! Smile

  9. luval says:

jlurksacto…am gonna call my agent on Monday. Have been to Canada a couple of times recently but never thought of this, yet I vaguely had heard something about this in the past.

    Ron…don’t forget the cement!

  10. Ron says:

    Ron…don’t forget the cement!

I’d never forget that!! I use that as my foundation! Grin

  11. Ron says:

    Just for fun …

I find this video absolutely fascinating! It doesn’t have anything to do with Adam, though! I’m really s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g it but, to make a connection, there’s the recent rehearsal video of the AMA’s. This video has rehearsal footage in it so there’s the tie-in. Grin

It’s Judy Garland struggling with singing a song that doesn’t begin to suit her with very clever editing showing the rehearsal interspliced with the aired performance. The most remarkable thing is her appearance! If you didn’t know better, you wouldn’t think it’s the same person!

Burt Bacharach was SO popular back then and it seems his music is all but forgotten today. Maybe his scoring of the film musical version of “Lost Horizon” was the beginning of the end. Frown I liked his music!

Judy trying her best singing “What The World Needs Now”.

This looks like the Mystery Monday thing:
    http://mjsbigblog.com/kelly-clarkson-carrie-underwood-jlo-rumored-iheartradio-concert.htm

Iheartradio will have a Music Festival in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand on Sept. 23-24. The stations are running a contest for tickets to the festival. Big names involved. No mention of Adam (as yet…)

  13. Calgary says:

I feel like a little kid at Christmas waiting to hear what the news is. Would news of AL singing at the MGM Grand in LV make me ‘poop’? I don’t think so…unless it is that he is the only ‘newbie’ in with a bunch of really big names…
Thanks for the Judy video Ron, there’s another tie-in – an effortless, larger-than-life gorgeous voice in her heydey…does that sound like anyone you know?

  14. Kradamour says:

Wasn’t one of the random teases that there would be a Woodstock sort of event in September? Hardly Woodstock, but if they meant with a large variety of performers this would fit the clue. New song end September, album drop first week November? Could be. That would about fit the 6 week from single to album timetable.
Hey, in the absence of anything remotely resembling a real clue, I’m willing to go with this theory. LOL

  15. riskylady says:

And, didn’t David Copperfield say that Adam was the love child of Judy and Elvis Presley? (Someone asked, why Judy? Well of course the VOICE, duh….)

  16. riskylady says:

Good theory, Kradam. Universe???? Are you there????

  17. luval says:

If that’s the big news, it’s not poop-worthy.

If that’s the big news, it’s not poop-worthy.

If it doesn’t concern Adam, why would Alison made that tweet??
    Could be something else.
jlurksacto, I went to Canada by car couple of times, but I don’t recall getting any Canadian ID card.

  20. milwlovesadam says:

A spoonful of Adam? Argh. Why oh why does my mind go to the naughty place before the nice place every single time????

    Ahem.

    Anyway.

Ron, I am so glad for your epic post above. It was honest and sincere, and I am so pleased that you shared with us. I have wondered this year what effect all this fandom has on people. In combination with so much “good” news for LGBT with repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, It Gets Better, Trevor Project, School Groups like Gay/Straight Alliance ( in my schools), NY gay marriage.

It can only have a good effect when you see society in general being more accepting, not just of LGBT, but of people who are “different.”

As a health care provider, I agree, Adam is good for the blood pressure. I mean really, listening to the acoustic live is like a tonic for the soul. I have listened to it specifically when I’ve had a hard day. I always thought it did help. I also have high blood pressure, and take medication. I swear, I feel calm and relaxed when listening to Adam.

Now, I wonder what WLL does?

Well, hmmmm, do Adamgasm’s have a “health benefit?” They must. They simply must. What about multiple Adamgasms? Oh my. I do think many of us have gone there, especially during the tour!!!

Kradam, my dear, I may be back with a list. Hold on to your Depends everybody!!

  21. dcglam says:

dcglam, I don’t know how you found that pic so quickly. I do believe it was definitely from that tv interview as you posted.

    Rolls Eyes

Yep, Ceddies…… It was a tough job, but I was up for the challenge! LOL
There aren’t a whole lot of things that would give me more pleasure than sorting through 1,000+ pics of Adam Lambert. Smile

  22. jlurksacto says:

I went to Canada by car couple of times, but I don’t recall getting any Canadian ID card.

Could be just my insurance company

  23. Kradamour says:

Had a fortune cookie tonight. If I still had any doubts that I would go to Ste Agathe, the cookie cleared it up:
“A four-wheeled adventure will soon bring you happiness.”
    Grin
I wish that we could all go. But it looks like there might be another oppy to see Adam end September in Las Vegas, for the peeps who live out west. Fingers crossed for that!

ewyflyer, thank you for putting the FAQ at the top of the page as a link, that was a great idea!

  24. luval says:

Ron, went out for a bit but got your mail.

  25. Northern Spirit says:

jlurksacto…..what is a Canadian ID card? I never heard of having to have a special ID card when you take your car over the border. I never have when I go to the States.

  26. jlurksacto says:

what is a Canadian ID card?

Just a card for wallet that says your vehicle has insurance
from **/**/** to **/**/** that is good in Canada????

In Calif we have to have insurance to register car. Ins co sends
proof of insurance cards to put in vehicles. When stopped by
police, they ask for registration and proof of insurance.

  27. AL says:

I think someone should figure out how to bottle him. Take one tablespoon of Adam each night before going to bed! I’m sure we’d all wake up “Feeling Good”.

Ron, good to hear that the blood pressure is stable. So how are those swollen ankles doing?

And your comment above got me thinking (yes, I do that on rare occasions Wink ). I believe there is a natural Lambert syrup out there from Quebec.
    sirop Lambert

and then there is my version! Grin
    Elixir Lambert

    Just what the doctor ordered!

  28. Ron says:

Hi AL!! … really good to see you!

Feet were swollen, went back to normal but are now swollen again. We’ll get to the bottom of it. After all, I need to fit into those sequin boots by the end of July! Smile

I MUCH prefer your Elixir Lambert! I think you should, however, add alcohol. Make it more like VitaMetaVegamin!! Alcohol: 27%! Smile We would definitely then be “Feeling REAL Good”. Grin

  29. Kradamour says:

AL that is f**king brilliant. Skilz! I love love love it…definitely someone needs to get those two images to Adam, the “real” and the improved version.
    Vraiment super! LOL

You are totally hilarious as well as amazing, AL!! How did you do that??? I especially love Adam’s picture on the medicine bottle….. LOL!

By the way, please put me down for a case of the 1 liter size of the Elixer Lambert.
I am looking forward to beginning my new health regiment….. Smile

  33. eywflyer says:

Kradamour, credit for linking the FAQ goes to Suz526! I’ll probably use that slot on the page for info tidbits or links relating to the next show during the next tour.

  34. Kradamour says:

eywflyer, I love this site. So well organized and planned. You wouldn’t be a virgo? Just curious. Smile

So thanks to Suz for the FAQ link!

  35. eywflyer says:

Kradamour, you’ve helped me to remember Librarising! She once did my entire astrological chart for my birthday. Has she posted here? My memory is just awful!

  38. AL says:

    Like this? LOL

  39. Ron says:

  40. Kradamour says:

Kradamour, you’ve helped me to remember Librarising! She once did my entire astrological chart for my birthday. Has she posted here? My memory is just awful!

Sounds like you need some Elixir Lambert, Ron!
I couldn’t remember either, so I just went back and scanned a dozen random pages in the June thread. No Librarising posts.

  41. Northern Spirit says:

jlurksacto, so cool that Will and Kate went by your house. I’m jealous. They had a marvelous trip up here in Canada and we were delighted to see them.

re your ID card, must be just your insurance company. We also have to have insurance for our cars up here, but the coverage is good for driving in Canada and US. They must think you’re travelling into unchartered territory….watch those beavers.

Ron, loved your story on the other page. Adam has affected all of our lives in so many different ways.

For those of you driving through Montreal on the way to Ste. Agathe, I’d highly recommend stopping somewhere for a sampling of Montreal bagels. They are to die for. They just featured a famous bagel bakery in Montreal tonight on the Food Network: St. Viateur http://www.stviateurbagel.com/main/ . If you see their bakery, brake and go in and have a try. I love Montreal bagels.

  42. eywflyer says:

Ron, librarising is not a registered username on the site at present.

Three weeks from right now the concert will be underway, can’t wait!

  43. Ron says:

NS, if it’s not too late, would it be okay to call you?

Thanks guys. I’ll let LibraRising know about this site.

  44. Northern Spirit says:

    sure, Ron

  45. JOJOSIE says:

RON and AL did you watch Lucy as kids or re-runs later on or maybe both? She was big at our house and I still find her on my TV occasionally. Great fun.

  46. jlurksacto says:

so cool that Will and Kate went by your house

Wish it were so. 400 miles south – They went by Doug’s house, Adam’s/Monte’s friend/manager?

  47. Ron says:

    Hi jojosie,

I watched “I Love Lucy” in reruns. I thought Lucille Ball was the greatest! I’ve only shed a few tears when two celebrities passed away and Lucy was one of them.

  48. AL says:

RON and AL did you watch Lucy as kids or re-runs later on or maybe both? She was big at our house and I still find her on my TV occasionally. Great fun.

Jojosie, I have to go with both. I was a child of the sixties so I Love Lucy was in re-runs. I do remember watching The Lucy Show and Here’s Lucy. And I do agree, they were great fun.

A spoonful of Adam? Argh. Why oh why does my mind go to the naughty place before the nice place every single time????

Haha mils! You are my perpetual sister of the corner! Wink

If Adam being one performer of many at a festival in Vegas is the big news, as cool as that would be, not poop worthy!

AL, I love the Elixer Lambert! So so clever! Grin

  50. milwlovesadam says:

Ah yes nkd, it is nice to share the corner with somebody. Thanks.

So. Some medical conditions that Adam can cure:

    Anhidrosis
. The lack of sweating. I recommend SFW from the Ryman. He was a hot sweaty mess that night, all the way to WLL. It was dripping off him. The sweat, that is. And the glitter. Nothing but sparkly puddles all over the stage.

Febriphobia: The fear of Fire. Take your pick of any performance of Ring of Fire. But, I do maintain that the Idol version is still a huge stand out, as the first and most spectacular performance, it seared plenty of eyeballs with the heat from the fire!!

Climacophobia: Fear of stairs. Just one glimpse of my avatar = cured. Nuf said.

Philematophobia : Fear of kissing. I give you WLL, Amsterdam. That should do it.

Pteronophobia: Fear of being tickled by feathers. Just one look at the famous Lee Cherry photo should do it for any sufferer of this malady.

Briophobia: Fear of the human foot. Just a glimpse of the glamfeet with their painted tootsies should fix this.

Cherophobia: No it’s not fear of Cher!! It’s fear of gaity. As in, fear of fun. Please come to a GN dance party. Peoria should do. What a gay night that was. Fun, people, fun!!

Onmatophobia: Fear of eyes. Who could ever be afraid of Adam’s eyes? Egads, I don’t think the world has seen just beautiful eyes since Cleopatra. Those of us who have gazed into his eyes, or have had the eyebeams fall on you at a show, we know the power of those eyes, the effect of the eyes……..sorry…I got lost there for a second….

And, last but not least, this is one that our beloved boy suffers from, and must be cured of, :
Dishabiliophobia:: The fear of undressing in front of someone. As in, “you ripped my vest off”, but now I’ll snap it CLOSED. He CLOSED it several times. The nerve of him. After he knew we had all seen Crawl Thru Fire a gazillion times! We knew he had performed topless before. GAAAH!!

(( From the corner, banished forever, nobody who calls themselves a true Adam fan can claim this disease, this affliction, none of us are shy about this, some may deny it, but, we know they can’t ignore it )
Ithyphallophobia Fear of, ahem, p*n*s. The GB as known in fandom. It has a life of it’s own. It has a reputation to defend. It will live in infamy.

    ( slinking to the corner now…. )
