Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

Thursday evening July 7th update: thanks to angelowal, we now have a translated link to FAQs for the Festival!

I am like mils. When I go to the beach I always sit under umbrella, covered with a sunscreen

Oksana, I usually do the same thing–and usually pretty much take care of my skin. But the tanning bed is a few-and-far-between thing for me. Now I guess it will never be for me. Thanks for telling me about your friend. Lets me know that I’m not totally crazy to believe what I read, and I realize that this actually did happen to me for that reason. Peeps will just have to accept the real me when I show up in Ste. Agathe. (Eh, I know they would accept me anyway, I just wanted a tan). Frown

ETA: Gone in for the evening. G’nite.

  2. Kradamour says:

ceddies, I thoroughly recommend the Jergens Natural Glow moisture lotion that results in a very gradual and not very dark tan. Because it takes about a week of daily application, there is a lot of overlap so no worry about little pale patches or lines of demarcation. I think it is quite natural looking, with none of the risks of tanning beds (or the sun). Also cheaper!
Several other companies also came out with similar products – but the Jergens was first and I think it is still the best.

  3. Ceddies says:

Kradamour, I have tried several of those but they are even dark for me. I look rusty for the first couple of days then I just quit using it. Maybe I should just keep on and go beyond the first couple of days. It would be great to have some color when I meet you guys. I have plenty of color (freckles) on commonly exposed areas, it’s just that I usually wear long pants and long skirts.

I am definitely gonna try your recommendation again. Maybe if I am diligent, it will pay off this time.

Glad I pulled a “Kradamour”, and now I’m gone again.

  4. nkd says:

I’m also pale and freckly. Maybe you should all wear your sunglasses when we meet! Smile

  5. Kradamour says:

Peeps, we are going to Canada. The Laurentian mountains. There will NOT be a lot of beachy tanned babes there. Did you see the Plage Tessier? Plage means beach. It is a scrubby bushy little place without visible sand, located on a mountain lake, not the Caribbean.
And you ladies from the South are going to be all bundled up in your snuggies, anyway, with no bare skin, from what you have been posting. Rolls Eyes
Put some Jergens Natural Glow tanning moisturizer on the tip of your nose, and you’re good. Grin

Saw this post on the fansite:

Also, if Adam does Crawl Thru Fire, I will DIE of fangirling. Fire festival… it’s too perfect.

    Be still my beating heart…

  7. ultimathule says:

Jergens Natural Glow is good – no overkill there.

St. Agathe – “Sweet Child O’ Mine” ?

  8. zzatrms says:

Just stopping by to say I finally received my Charity Water pic today. It was worth the wait. Smile

  9. nkd says:

kradamour, I also saw that on the fansite and thought the same thing! We might just all die if he breaks into CTF!

ultimathule, wouldn’t that be so awesome? Sweet Child of Mine! I would die again!

He seems to let go in Canada. Let’s hope!

  10. nkd says:

Good for you, zzatrms! It’s good to know that they are getting out!

  11. ultimathule says:

Is the entire band going to be with him in St. Agathe?

  12. nkd says:

Is the entire band going to be with him in St. Agathe?

    I sure hope so!

  13. adamized says:

Ok. There is a twitpic of the ticket posted by one of the folks I follow. I’m not sure how kosher it is to post someone else’s twitpics. What is twitter protocal? You guys are going to just have to believe me.

  14. Ceddies says:

Do we know yet whether videos and photos will be allowed in Ste. Agathe? I just hope that the folks in charge of the festival will allow us to video the concert. If they are not already aware of the excitement and publicity that can surround an Adam Lambert concert, I hope they can be made aware of it before concert date. Lots of us (and in particular Suz526) make and post videos that are seen around the world. I would hope there would be some way for that to translate into good publicity for their city. Hopefully they wouldn’t mind becoming more well-known.

  15. Kradamour says:

ceddies, I would say that it would be best to not address the issue in advance and get it on anyone’s radar screen, because I am not at all confident that the question would be well received – and as a practical matter, Adam Lambert is not something/someone that Ste Agathe would likely care about being linked to. I think it is safer to leave the question alone, but that is just my opinion.
In an outdoor festival venue, it is hard/almost impossible to stop vids and cameras. Were there problems at other outdoor venues? The balloon festival, for example, also in Quebec?

  16. Kradamour says:

    We believe you, cherie!
But you could just post the twitter name of the person and we could go look, I’d love to actually see a ticket!

Good news zzatrms! Thanks for posting and giving us hope! Smile

  20. Ceddies says:

Thanks, kradamour, for your comments regarding the cameras and publicity at the festival. They make perfect sense now that I think about it. I was posting at 7:30 on a morning after my brain had been whirling all except two hours of the night.

  21. jlurksacto says:

    Something going on with PennyRoyal?

Yes. Yes it does. RT @Robbiesmom2 @_Pennyroyal Does it have something to do with @adamlambert? Can you tell us that much?

  22. luval says:

    Pennyroyal…probably doing a key pendant.

Out of the woodwork at MJ’s. Sorry, if this is way
out of bounds, delete. It is a response to Equity Hollywood award.

If we could all agree to make a special effort NOT to put that negative crap up on this site, I would be very happy…( I sure don’t miss it at all) Love to all, but just sayin…

  24. Kradamour says:

Gotta say I agree with Planet Fierce. I love the positive posts that peeps bring here about good things happening!
But if I want to read something political/negative posted by a knuckle-dragger, I know where to go. And I don’t go there.

  25. Oksana2000 says:

But we can still comment on fanwars, right? I find them very entertaining.. Smile

  26. Kradamour says:

Fanwars come under the category of entertainment, Oksana! Grin
(As long as one only comments and doesn’t participate or fan the flames…)
I think it is only the ugly political stuff that is too depressing to bring here. IMO.

    Thanks for the goodies, jlurksacto….
The Dingaling vid is priceless, and it was great fun revisiting Adam’s journey through the Confessional vids. Smile
By the way, I do love that “natural looking” pic of Adam that was posted on the Confessional site:

My Sainte-Agathe ticket arrived today (from admissions.ca not a festival passport)! I noticed that the seat number says “1000”, I’m wondering if this indicates the total number of tickets sold so far (the Cotillion in Wichita ticketing system worked the same way during the GNT), at least through this distribution channel. Has anyone else received a ticket from admissions.ca yet?

Regarding the fanwars, Kradamour is correct, it is ok to comment on them, but participation or fanning of such wars is definitely not allowed here, as per the comment guidelines. I would hope that we don’t dwell excessively on those topics, since there are other sites we all know about that sometimes seem to do nothing but fanwars. I’d like this site to remain a tranquil oasis away from such things.

I would also agree with Kradamour that it’s best to leave things quiet regarding cameras at the festival. I highly doubt there will be any problem, but bringing such things to the attention of the management would probably have negative results.

Suz526, wow – exclusive content for our site, thank you so much for sharing!

  31. Suz526 says:

Forgot I had that clip – seeing the picture AZGlamfan posted reminded me Smile

  32. Suz526 says:

eywflyer – did you also buy a passport?

  33. eywflyer says:

Suz526, no I didn’t, I’m going to be on a tight schedule for this trip (staying in Montreal) and figured I wouldn’t have time to do anything at the festival other than go to the concert. I don’t need a passport in addition to the ticket do I?

  34. Kradamour says:

I don’t need a passport in addition to the ticket do I?

No; but the passport is good for all performances. I bought one because I plan to go to the Eric LaPointe concert on the 28th. Assuming that I am able to go. Fingers still crossed for that.

  35. Suz526 says:

eywflyer – I don’t think you need both. I did buy a ticket – just in case. Glad I did because I have it in hand. I bought the passport first but started worrying that it might not arrive in time (I had a couple of ticket scares in Europe that I didn’t want to repeat)

  36. dcglam says:

Suz526, unfortunately I was unable to access the video that you posted. It said that the video was unlisted and that only those with the link can view it. Happy for you, but sad for me….. Frown
Many thanks for your attempt to share…. Smile

Did you click on the link or try to access some other way? Even though it is unlisted, you should still be able to see it – I can tell from the count that people are getting in. Unlisted just means that it won’t show up in a search – but can be seen if if you use the link. Try cutting and pasting the link in your browser and let me know what happens.

  38. Kradamour says:

I didn’t have any trouble with the link, suz.

  39. eywflyer says:

Suz526, what seat number does your ticket have? I know it is GA but I’m wondering if all of them say “1000” or I just happened to get the 1000th ticket sold for this event on admissions.ca.

  40. dcglam says:

    Thanks, Suz…..
The link wouldn’t work for me, so I did try copying and pasting it in my browser. That didn’t work either. I am reading 5 views. It could just be my computer for some reason, so do not worry.

ETA: I have a fairly new iMac that isn’t always 100% compatible with other programs and such.

  41. luval says:

Some of my notes from Knoxville…Got his infinity tattoo, dropped his cane in Strut and lost/found an earing.

And I’ll never forget a quote from a guard there (from twitter). ” I just saved this Adam Lambert dude from this crazy ass fan. Who is this guy? These folks are too starstruck over this dude”. LOL

  42. Northern Spirit says:

Thanks, Suz526, for that exclusive. I was able to access it.

I hope the festival is prepared to give us our passports at the box office if we don’t get them before the concert. I’m sure we will, but the way the mail is moving up here in Canada right now makes me wonder if they are still on strike. Actually, people have been complaining about the (lack of) mail, so hopefully things get moving soon. Otherwise, I’ll be buying a ticket when I get there, which actually might be preferable just to have something with Adam’s name on it. I have a feeling this will be a memorable/historic concert.

  43. ultimathule says:

Knoxville link – the second pic from the left – where Adam’s eyes are closed and he’s in shadow – enlarged it – mesmerizing. A beautiful dream.

Adam Lambert has some MAJOR news coming out this week. Even I was pleasantly shocked by the sheer bravado and daring of what he’s doing next

Adam Lambert has decided to make some waves to bump up his Q factor in a markedly gleeful new direction. Enough clues for now!

Do Adam Lambert and Chris Crocker know each other? Do they like each other enuf to work together? Well Nixon went to China…

Could it be that Adam Lambert is ready to risk it all Caesar style in rolling the dice, and crossing his own Rubicon? HIS BREAKOUT EVENT?

    Questions – making rumors?

  45. HK fan says:

    @jlurksacto
Thanks for those links, I had never seen those confessionals before. God, he’s so articulate and well spoken, could listen to him talk all day…I presume the others did these as well, it would be interesting to see a couple to see how they come across.
as to the My Dingaling vid, it was well done. I find it so sexy when Adam grabs his crotch…but when MJ does (did) it, absolutely nothing!

  46. luval says:

    jlurksacto…now I’m skeered…. Smile

hmmmm gleeful new direction…Glee? reruns now.

I went to the urban dictionary to look up “q factor” but the link is down. I think I know what it is, though.

Catching up…so Adam is going to be a featured performer at a Woodstock type music festival in Sept when his single drops?

    huh?

It looks as though the Glamberts may have crashed another site — urban dictionary!! Wink

  49. Suz526 says:

eywflyer My ticket says seat 57 – not sure what that means – probably a way of keeping track of how many sold?

  50. Kradamour says:

I hope that this is okay to post: I just learned that spotify is finally coming to the US! It is an amazing music site – free – you can listen to any song anytime on any computer or phone – but can’t download. It’s like (as they say) having every song in the world on your iPod. Can make playlists, etc. I had a hacked-into European account and loved it until they closed my account because the IP address showed that I am in the US. http://www.spotify.com
