Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

Thursday evening July 7th update: thanks to angelowal, we now have a translated link to FAQs for the Festival!

And he’s wearing suspenders I think.

I think maybe Adam is wearing this?

Yeah, looks like the bag, jlurksacto. I’ll have to examine the pic on my pc when I get home. Hard to see on my iPhone.

  12. Ron says:

Are you all outside watching the fireworks?

Happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans. You’ve heard of an American in Paris … I’m an American in Toronto. Smile

Always watch the movie “1776” on this day. My first big love affair was with one of guys in the cast whom I lived with when I first moved to New York City. Just a little bit of trivia about myself. Wink

  13. Ron says:

mils, if you’re still on the beach, you must by now be doing your best impression of a lobster. Wink

http://www.adamlamberthelp.tumblr.com is a new site I think. I only found it as someone on twitter posted the cute July 4th pic. Lots of other stuff. Hope you all had a good holiday.

Hey, Ron – love, love, love the movie, “1776.” In fact, the whole family does – have a copy. Great actors, great music – “The Triangle Trade” is devastating. Highly recommended.

  16. Ron says:

Hi ultimathule! I guess we’re the only one’s awake! Smile Oh! There’s JOJOSIE! Hi!

I so agree with you! Yet, the movie was a flop. Frown Movie musicals were no longer popular when it was released.

Living with someone who was in the original Broadway production and the movie in NYC, it was a coincidence that I auditioned for a touring company of … “1776”.

I was called back 4 TIMES to sing for the director and producer. It ended up being between me and someone else. Some else got the part. Oh, well.

I was being considered for the role of the Messenger who sings, “Mama, Look Sharp”.

  17. Kradamour says:

    Ron, you’re an expat?
If I make it to Quebec, remind me to tell you two 1776 stories. Not sure it would be appropriate to post them here, I can’t think of a single link to Adam or anything dimly related to him.
Oh, wait! One of them is a Russian story, and he just performed in Moscow. And the other is an airplane story, and he will fly to Montreal to perform later this month. Would that count? Prob’ly not. LOL
    G’nite!

  18. nkd says:

I was just on google maps looking at the street view of the festival site and took the trip to the SpaWatel. There appear to be sidewalks all of the way in between, but it looks much longer than a 5 minute walk! There are boats, for rent maybe!!! Wink

  19. nkd says:

    double post?!!!

    Ron, you’re an expat?

    Connecticut yankee here!

I gave up my theatrical career, friends, job … everything … to move from NYC to Canada to be with … what’s-his-name. LOL Seemed like a good idea at the time. Smile

    J/K … July 10th – 34 years! Yikes!

  21. nkd says:

Guess I’ll go back to my project if no one is here.
I was looking for a distraction!

  22. asifclueless says:

    Good night my dear friends.

It’s good to be in the US to participate in the fireworks, BBQ, and the concert at the Smithsonian Mall.

I got to see Josh Groban. I used to have a lot of his DVDs/CDs. Adam made me forget all about Josh. Grin

    Again … Happy 4th!!!

  23. nkd says:

asif, your evening sounds amazing! Good night!

    Hi Ron!

  24. asifclueless says:

    Hi Ron, krads, and nkd.
    Long time no see.

    Good night, ALL!!!
I had too much red wine and I ate too much. Gotta go to bed soon.

I’ll be back tomorrow. I can hang in here more often. It’s my vacation time.

I’m not gonna pull a Kradamour. Wink

    Night night!!!

I can’t wait to hear all your stories. It sounds as if you have a few! Wink

    Hello Ron, sweetie!

No one is sweeter than you! Except for me. LOL LOL

What a combination when we meet in Ste.-Agathe! We’re going to simultaniously combust upon impact. LOL So glad your daughter is going to be there to pick up the pieces. Grin

  28. Ron says:

Is Calli a nickname for Cauliflower? Grin I’m sure the nurse didn’t put your daughter in your arms and you thought, “Aw, let’s name her Cauliflower”. Smile

  29. nkd says:

Why would I name my daughter Cauliflower? Confused
    It’s actually short for Callison.

  30. nkd says:

And I probably will combust, I’m so excited to meet you, and everyone else!

  31. Ron says:

Why would I name my daughter Cauliflower

Just kidding of course (and still am now) but, you know, you South’ners can come up with some rather peculiar very interesting names for humans. Grin

  32. nkd says:

    Watch it, Bubba! Wink

  33. Kradamour says:

Okay, gonna pop in here. My son was a pumpkin.

  34. Ron says:

    Hahaha …

I was just going to say: Billy Bob Joe Rick Don Bubba Roy Percy Ray is just a tad, maybe a little bit, too much. LOL LOL

  35. Kradamour says:

Y’know how we call little kids pumpkin, as in “Watch out, pumpkin!” or “Come here, pumpkin!” and it is just a term of endearment like the French do with cabbage? (as in “mon petit chou”)
I called my son “pumpkin” regularly, as an endearment.
Okay, so when he was about 2, I got him a pumpkin suit for Halloween.
He wouldn’t take it off. He had achieved true pumpkin-ness. Why would I ever (he thought) want to take off his real skin?
So he slept, bathed, went everywhere in this silly pumpkin costume. Literally, I put him in the tub in this thing and washed the two of them together.

  36. Ron says:

    My son was a pumpkin.

    Excuse me?

  37. Kradamour says:

So Calli could be a cauliflower. A CalliFlower! as a term of affection.

  38. Ron says:

Oh, I see. A term of affection. Like nkd calls her daughter Calli instead of Cauliflower. Grin

  39. nkd says:

kradamour, that is hilarious! Calli was also a pumpkin for Halloween at about 2. I made hers, and she was happy to take it off! Pumpkin as a term of endearment is cute, but not Cauliflower!
However, we do like our adorable cauliflower!

  40. Ron says:

Kradamour! I’m going to have to put on the tin foil hat to get you out of my brain!

We talk alike, we think alike, at times do we even … walk alike? (I’m sure you have no idea what that refers to).

    Anyone? LOL

  41. Kradamour says:

I bought the one for my son, and it was really soft and comfy.

Cauliflower in French is “chou-fleur”, it sounds pretty. Calli is probably too old to tolerate being called a Calli-Flower now, but when she was younger you could have gotten away with it! Smile

  42. Kradamour says:

    Ron, it sounds familiar… Neutral
    Give a hint!
Was it the twins TV show from the 60’s?
Nah, you’re too young to remember that. Grin

  43. nkd says:
  44. Kradamour says:

OMG, Nekkid, you win! brilliant! LOL

Okay, I did my Kradamour. Off to bed now.
    G’nite, peeps and expats!

  45. Ron says:

No, no, no … nkd, you lose. Smile

Kradamour, I’m sure I’m much older than you and I certainly remember this … what I was referring to:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQTqKcojrVY

  46. nkd says:

I think I remember that, in reruns! Wink

  47. nkd says:

    G’nite kradamour!

  48. Ron says:

    nkd says:

I think I remember that, in reruns!

Well, of course I was a mere child, practically an embryo, but I do remember watching “The Patty Duke Show” when it originally aired.

  49. Kradamour says:

OMG, Ron, yes, that was exactly what I was thinking of! The identical cousins! I couldn’t remember Patty Duke’s name – I LOVED that show and made my parents crazy singing that theme song.
Actually, I think we are about the same age, based on the 1776 timing. I’m twice 29 Smile

  50. nkd says:

So there was Patty, Cathy, her look alike cousin who is more wordly, and the doppleganger cousin from the south, Betsy. I assume I’m Betsy, so which are you Ron, Patty or Cathy? Are you or is kradamour more “wordly”?
