Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

Thursday evening July 7th update: thanks to angelowal, we now have a translated link to FAQs for the Festival!

Hi all! Just got back from RL and brought you all some fresh croissants from Paris!

Gotta say, a little tiny part of me has to hate you for having a trip to Paris but the other part (the way bigger part!) is delighted for your trip and grateful that you thought to bring back a treat for us! LOL Yum!

On another note: I got what looked like a very authentic email from twitter saying that an Adam fan that I follow and who follows me had sent me a DM. The message was that someone had posted something bad about me in a blog, with a link to it. I had sense enough not to click on the link – it turns out that the twitter account of madnessinmotion had been hacked and a number of us got that message. Those who opened the link may also have their computers infected (likely) so be very careful of supposed DM notifications! these things spread fast and it is clearly loose in the Adam twitterverse. Amy Winehouse was found dead in London – so damn sad.

Amy Winehouse was found dead in London – so damn sad.

I immediately thought of Adam when my son told me about Amy. The contrast is so striking…she was mad talented, but fought demons and lost. Adam is so centered…I can never help comparing him to tragic celebrities. May he never go over the dark edge. I think he is conscious of that, too. Once or twice he has made reference, wish I could remember when.

  4. milwlovesadam says:

Oh, I’m so sad for madnessinmotion. She is such a wonderful gal. I just hate tech viruses. I, myself, in a twisted form of karma, got the “viagra” virus, and it took forever to clear up. Hahahaha. I know. Until my rabbi’s secretary called and wanted to know why I was sending him ads for Viagra. The virus attaches itself to any e-mail addresses used in the past year or so. So, it gets sent to anyone you have been in contact with. Too funny and too embarrassing all at once.

And, as for Amy Winehouse, what else can be said. What a sad and sorry waste to see another young talent lost because of addiction. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

  5. luval says:

If Sauli goes to Quebec, this might be the first time he’s seen Adam sing live on stage.

  6. Northern Spirit says:

So sad to hear about Amy Winehouse!! OMG. My first thought was that of an overdose or suicide, but in an article I just read from a newspaper, her father said something about her emphysema (I’m doubting this to be a cause). I didn’t know she had that. Does anyone have any more news about this?

I’m finally back on home turf from a week’s vacation in Williamsburg (great place to visit…but burning hot right now) and am looking forward now to getting read for Ste Agathe. I don’t know yet if I have got my passport, but I doubt it.

Kradamour, ultimathule, I’m also a ‘bad fan’, too. I read your posts with interest because I sometimes feel so guilty that I haven’t listen to Adam’s FYE album a gazillion times as everyone else seems to have done. I think, honestly, I’ve put it into my CD player at home 4 times and that’s it. Mind you, I’ve heard the songs more on road trips with others, and a million times at concerts and videos, but the songs–although I like them–don’t don’t compel me like other albums I have to play them over and over again. What attracted me to Adam in the first place on AI was his voice and his performance genius. It’s the visual that grabbed me first, but his voice, too, as we all know, is out of this world. I hope his next album keeps the songs simpler and showcase his amazing vocals.

  7. HK fan says:

Just saw the news about Amy Winehouse, very sad, such a waste but to be honest, not totally surprising. In the British press they are saying a ‘suspected’ drug overdose. I saw the videos last month of her performing in Europe, it was awful to watch.

Re FYE, I still listen to it at least a couple of times A week. Love it. Have never listened to a cd so much.

  8. Kradamour says:

Northern Spirit and ultimathule – thank you for the validation! Smile We are all good fans!
I am hoping hoping that we get a taste of what is to come at the Ste Agathe concert…

(NS, so sorry that we were so hot here when you were in Williamsburg…July in Virginia is rarely balmy, but this was just ridiculous.)

  9. Calgary says:

Haha hilarious bit over on 24/7. People Mag reported that Adam was out with his bro, sister-in-law and their baby.Clueless reporter, obviously. Of course it was the Cherrys! None of us would have made that mistake would we!

  10. milwlovesadam says:

So, I don’t know if I’m a “bad fan ” or not. I kinda think we’re all “good” fans because we have stuck with all of this in the “off season”. As far as FYE goes, it replaced my CD’s of Idol stuff and You Tube stuff. I played it a lot. And I mean alot. But, I skipped some songs and focused on others. As soon as I could make CD’s of live Glamnation stuff, that replaced FYE for me. And I haven’t gone back.

BTW, today marks the anniversary of one of Adam’s greatest shows, in San Fran. That WLL from night 2 still ranks as one of his top best for me.

….aaand, shall we start speculating his set list for the 29th? And wardrobe??? And HAIR??

I’m going with a mainly GN set list, like Moscow. Plus an encore or last song with a hard rock edge. TCB, WLL, or maybe even something new. Or, maybe something we’ve been waiting for, a Guns N Roses cover, or, even Sandman again.

Dancers? We know Sasha is busy. Terrance might be done with the Twist, it was supposed to be a short run. I predict Brooke and Terrance. I also predict Sauli and Neil to be there.

Hair? Like he’s been wearing it, high and two-toned. Makeup, minimal. It’s summer. White loose shirt. Or, tight sleeveless v-neck black t-shirt. Black tight pants, fabulous belt. Maybe the medges, but, definitely boots.

  11. luval says:

As far as the encore…anyone know what Sauli’s favorite song is? Enter Sandman for Tommy, Purple Haze for Monte. Could be interesting.

  12. nkd says:

Re: twitter message. Kradamour, I got one of those messages from you! It said someone said something bad about me on a blog, and I thought, yeah probably!!!
    I didn’t open it either!

  13. Kradamour says:

Great. Now my twitter is infected! Rolls Eyes
It is likely that everyone who got one of the infected messages is now infected also, nekkid. Damn. At least we didn’t open the link on our computers.
You might want to let your followers know.
I never use my twitter account. Time to close it. Frown

  14. Kradamour says:

luval, I am really enjoying your musings about Sauli and the concert!

  15. luval says:

Hi Kradamour…recently I’ve been really interested in Sauli. His blog (which he writes every 2 weeks or so) is very funny. He seems so sweet and a bit naive.

  16. ultimathule says:

Always wanted to ask about the gesture Adam made toward his mouth at the end of the SF2 WLL. For a moment it almost appeared as if something hurt him. But think he did that gesture at another WLL as well (can’t remember which). Each time, however, there was nothing further to indicate any harm.

  17. Kradamour says:

Re the set list…I think that Moscow was the end of the glamnation era, and that Ste Agathe will be the transition into the next phase. I don’t expect any dancers.
My dream is that to close out the GN era, Adam will sing the cuts from FYE that he never or rarely performed live during hte tour.
    Pick U Up!
    Loaded Smile!
    Broken Open!
It could happen. He has said that the reason he didn’t sing these live is that they were too much of a strain for a tour setlist. But for a one-off? why not? Wink

Of oddities of recordings I’ve downloaded from iTunes, I believe one – “What’s Love Got to Do with It” – Brazen Big Room Tunes 2009 – is Adam. And I’ve bought four others: all Fonzerelli/Digital Glitter tracks: “Gigalo” (Vocal Club Mix) – “Oh My Ra” (Club Mix) – “Feel the Love” (Radio Edit) – “Feel the Love” (Extended Radio Edit). Does anyone know if these four tracks have been determined to be Adam’s?

  21. cwm says:

So sad about Amy Winehouse. Such a tragic end to a talent, legacy, and life cut way too short.

kradamour — That photo is beautiful! Where did it come from?? It reminds me of the “Rakastan” photo which I dearly love. The heat between those two is palpable in photos like that.

turquoisewaters — You’re back! We missed you. So good to see you post again, and how wonderful is it that you went to Paris! Thanks for bringing us the yummy croissants. Smile

  22. Kradamour says:

Photo was tweeted by @izz828282 and titled “Rakastan 2.0” Smile

Apparently someone is retweeting Drake’s old tweets to Adam?!?!? WTF?
Okay, peeps are clearly bored. Idle hands (and ears) are the devil’s tools.
    Adam, your fans are restless!
Give us something to keep us busy and out of trouble!
    Like a concert! LOL

Ultima, I know Oh My Ra is, for sure. There are lots of versions on YouTube, this one by Fonzerelli http://www.youtube.com/watch) Going now to check out the others (had never heard of them til now!!!) I like trance music, use it for walking and working out, and if it’s Adam, muuuuuuch better.

  27. riskylady says:

Ultima, there’s more: Here’s the write-up about Adam and Fonzerelli, under the Feel The Love video.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02nCriBEST0&feature=related

Fonzerelli returns to the fray as the masked crusader for ‘real’ dance music with his hottest record since “Dreamin’ (Of A Hot Summers Night)” which became a summer smash being championed by Tiesto, hammered on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and TV, hitting # 2 in the Buzz Chart and much more!

“Feel The Love”, taken from Fonzerelli’s forthcoming debut artist album features the stunning vocals of Digital Glitter, a collaboration project between Aaron McClelland and American Idol # 2 Adam Lambert who met on MySpace prior to Adam’s huge success and together have crafted some incredible records that have set them apart from all others.

“Feel The Love” is trademark Fonzerelli, 80’s infused, synth driven, retro, pop-club anthems. His mission is to battle the darkside of dance music aimed at stripping away the underground elements of club records, replacing them with catchy vocals, hooks and melodies that have always set his music completely apart from the rest and helped launch the current electronic dance revolution.

Fonzerelli’s insatiable creativity and super prolific nature has seen him release hundreds of productions, remix several Top 5 acts, gain support from the world’s biggest DJs and been in demand by every major and minor label in the world. “Feel The Love” is the first stage of Fonzerelli’s plan to dominate the charts and clubs alike. Look out for the monsterous new version of Moonlight Party (Dance Til Sunrise) this summer featuring hot new artist Ellenyi (www.ellenyi.com). 2011 is the year of Fonzerelli!

A couple of comments pointing out that Strut would be a wonderful runway song. Smile

Here’s the playbill from The Zodiac Club, with mention of Digital Glitter in Adam’s bio.

  30. ultimathule says:

Thanks so much, riskylady – got the tracks off iTunes and didn’t see the youTube stuff. Got three Tiesto tracks – “Driving to Heaven,” “Force of Gravity,” and “Feel in My Bones.” Fonzerelli is, I believe, from Northern Ireland and know he admires Adam’s vocals and technique. Like “Feel the Love” – had the iPod on today, playing it alphabetically, and the song came on and felt it had to be Adam. Wonder what else is out there.

  31. ultimathule says:

Wow, thanks to you, too, nkd – never saw that playbill – a keeper.

  32. Kradamour says:

nekkid, you amaze! Thanks for the playbill…gosh, a lot of those names look familiar! Grin

I don’t think I saw this Japanese interview before…at least not with the lulzy subtitles:

Aaaaannnnd, a remix of Broken Open. Not sure how I feel about this:

And, another of Ring of Fire, lol….
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FvZKpr68uE&feature=related

And last, remixed “Feelin Good.” This one is pretty unique, really pristine vocals.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JO4VC0q19a4&feature=related

I saw a LOT of new remixes and they’re getting LOTS of views and very very favorable comments! I guess this is good exposure for Adam too, and gets people listening and interested.

ETA: WOW! Finished listening to the Feelin Good remix, had to download and convert to MP3. It really preserves the STUNNING vocals, and has a nice beat.

  35. ultimathule says:

Incorrigible – even though I may not be absolutely nutso about some of these remixes, I’m so happy to get them.

  36. riskylady says:

Nkd, WHAT A FIND! That playbill is a keeper.
And also mentions J Scott G! It’s like a little missing link for our paraphernalia!
And kradam, love that interview lolol! Had never seen it.
Plus, going to check out those Tiesto tracks from ultima too.
It pays to stay up late around here – nice goodies!!!

  37. Kradamour says:

It’s like a little missing link for our paraadamphernalia!

It is incredible how much is still out there that is new to us, even though we spend endless hours quite a bit of time foraging and hunting and gathering things to bring back here to the home fire…

Okay, off to bed before someone accuses me of pulling a kradamour lol…g’nite again, peeps!

    A Mad World remix:

Surprised by how much I like it! Smile

There are a lot of others, too. This one I liked a lot, and the visuals are excellent.

  39. ultimathule says:

Let’s just say that “Feelin’ Good” remix is leaving me feelin’ pretty good, too – lol

  40. riskylady says:

Judging by the comments under What’s Love Got To Do With It, pretty sure it’s Adam too. FonzerelliOfficial chimed in too.

    Found this one too: DigitalGlitter!

  41. Kradamour says:

Aaaaannnnd, a remix of Broken Open. Not sure how I feel about this:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCTdXQSNqh4&feature=related

I really like it, riskylady. Apples and oranges to the original. I could get into exercising again with this on my ipod…the end is a little abrupt, though, I’d like a better fade.

I think it is interesting that many of these remixes have the effect of making Adam’s shadow of a lisp more prominent.

  42. ultimathule says:

The “eyebrow action” in that Japanese video just sums up Adam’s sense of humor – so quick and never taking himself seriously.

  43. ultimathule says:

That “Mad World” remix is really good. Now, onto all the others. If this continues, may see the sun come up.

  44. Kradamour says:

Whoa, look at the time! thanks for the reminder, ultimathule!
This foray into remix land has been so interesting! Okay, I need to resume my daily workouts so I’ll have an excuse to listen to these regularly! Grin

  45. ultimathule says:

That’s an interesting mix – “Without U” – Top Gun – going to listen to that one again.

  46. cwm says:

As eywflyer posted above, today, July 23, is the one-year anniversary of the first GNT show in San Francisco. This was my second GNT show. More sweet memories! I feel a recap coming on!

The day after the Portland GNT show I piled my family and my teenage daughter’s friend (a gay boy – this detail will be important later) into the car and drove down to San Francisco. I went to Adam’s SF #1 show with my daughter, her friend, my sister-in-law, and my teenage niece.

I had the good fortune of meeting turquoisewaters, madnessinmotion, goatiegarden, and PPPofP there. Wonderful people and we had a blast!

The San Francisco #1 show brought us the drag queen pre-party, the huge number of blue glowsticks for WWFM (which I’m pretty sure brought a tear to Adam’s eye), an amazing show, and an all-electric WLL. We had even better general admission spots closer to the stage than we had had in Portland — about 4 or 5 people back from the stage, center. It was a fantastic show, the crowd screamed pretty much non-stop, and Adam was spectacular. His hair was slicked back and glittered in this beautiful old-Hollywood style. And to be able to watch him perform from so close up was thrilling.

We went to the drag queen pre-party before the show, and my daughter, her friend, and my niece all got made up beautifully by one of the drag queens. It was especially gratifying to see her (very good looking) gay guy friend get made up because he had been reluctant to put on any eyeliner for the Portland show. But by the time he got to SF, he was ready to embrace it. The queen spent a long time on him and he looked absolutely gorgeous. He literally turned heads for the rest of the night. Including Adam’s, who looked straight at him and pointed at him for the “you’re miiiiinnnneeee” line in Fever. OMG he was over the moon! After the show out at the buses, he met Adam again (after having met and hugged him first in Portland), who was very sweet with him, and he also caught Sutan’s eye, who complimented him on how great his make-up looked and how cute he was. Let me tell you, for a 16-year-old gay boy who was just starting to figure out his place in the world, this was an amazing night for him, full of love and acceptance. His mom was very grateful for the wonderful experience we had given him, and she said that it was one of the best nights of his life. Smile

After the show out at the buses, the kids were totally in the right place at the right time and so got to meet Adam (I was in the wrong place, darn it, so I missed him). But I met, chatted, and got pictures with Brooke, Sasha, Taylor, Monte, Tommy, and Sutan. Sutan had just returned that night from his extended absence, and I didn’t realize until much later that his absence was due to his run on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Everyone was so gracious and sweet, and so willing to chat and take pictures, as long as the crowd stayed calm and not too big. Especially Monte and Tommy. In fact, when I finally broke away and went to the car and as we pulled out of the parking lot, Tommy walked over, leaned into our car through the driver’s side window, happily thanked us for coming, and shook all 5 of our hands. It was so funny and he was so sweet.

Another wonderfully memorable night. Thank you Adam and Glam Nation family. Smile

  47. ultimathule says:

Shadow of a lisp? That’s fascinating – haven’t caught it yet. Is it a “th” thingy? Or something else. Will listen more carefully now.

  48. cwm says:

Wow, while I was writing my SF show recap, you guys were BUSY!

I thought I had all of Adam’s pre-idol stuff, but I didn’t know about Feel the Love, Without You, or Gigalo. Thank you!
