Hi everyone!   I realize some of you don’t like the eyes pictures but I think this one is beautiful.  I think of looking ahead to the Festival, new single, next album and tour when I look at this picture.  This month all of us will have a huge treat to look forward to with Adam performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival and my good friend Suz526’s videos on 7/29!   Please keep us all updated on the plans of the rather sizeable group of you who will be attending this concert as those of us who can’t make it to Canada will live vicariously through you for this one!

Thursday evening July 7th update: thanks to angelowal, we now have a translated link to FAQs for the Festival!

Kradamour, what exactly haven’t you done? Seamstress, marksman, lawyer, french teacher, ….

    SERIOUSLY!!!!

  2. Northern Spirit says:

luval, sorry you got lost. Oh well. The QEW runs through what is probably the most densely populated area in all of Canada, so I’m really at a loss why no gas station popped up for you.

If this helps, look for a Tim Hortons coffee shop, our national institution, and a gas station won’t be too far away….kidding, of course…kinda, sorta

I was a little envious of the road trip group driving to Canada, but maybe things worked out for the best!!!

Ah, yes. Canada Customs at the airport. Much nicer people there. Smile

adamized, you’ll have a couple of days in the car to grill me on the way to Ste Agathe lol
I like to stay busy and I am easily bored. And I’m old. So I’ve had time to do a few things. Smile

Ron, I think those guys have their entire faces botoxed weekly so that they can’t show any emotion. Srsly. Frown

  7. nkd says:

Yeah, customs at the airport, full body scans, weighing luggage…all for Adam, but especially to meet all of you! I can’t wait! Smile

  8. Northern Spirit says:

luval, really? It’s pretty normal here. Tim’s is in universities, hospitals, but I didn’t expect that to happen in the States.

No wonder they didn’t hire me. Smile

    I FLOVE Tim Horton’s! Timbits!

Real dishes instead of styrofoam! Smile
    Lots of them in Maine.
Here in Virginia they opened one at the Naval Base but it isn’t doing too well. It’s not a Virginia sort of place. And the shop is shared with a Coldstone Ice Cream franchise. Bah.

nekkid, maybe we should wear a wire for you so you can listen in! Or speakerphones so you could participate!
But I suspect that there will be much interchange at the hotel, too, cherie – I cannot wait to meet you in person!

  13. Ron says:

Just kidding, of course, nkd. You’ll sail through Customs like a breeze. The staff they employ are wonderful. I’m sure what happened to me won’t happen to you when I was once thrown into a room, bound and gagged and told to bend over and crack a smile. No worries, everything will be fine. Grin

I was kind of rowdy as a child. Smile

    That’s comforting Ron! Confused

  17. nkd says:

kradamour, a wire sounds good to me! Are y’all leaving on Wednesday? I’m not sure if the wire will work while I’m on the plane! Wink

  18. Kradamour says:

Yup, Wednesday. We’ll see you in Ste Agathe on Thursday! Smile

eywflyer, thanks so much for seeing my request on printing. No hurry, I’m off to Manhattan tomorrow after dinner. I’ll have to quickly catch up here before dashing off to the airport. Need to know if I need my Depends for the “Big News” or not.

Hey, if goatie or Jojosie are out there, you’ll be very proud of me. I am packed for a 4 day trip in just my carry-on. They’ll understand. I was a tad over-packed in Hawaii…. I was thinking of both of them while packing, same clothes, same weather needs, many were worn most recently in Hawaii…and to meet Adam.

  20. Ron says:

Give my regards to Broadway, mils! Very excited for you!! Hope you get tickets for “The Lion King”.

Broadway was my playpen for the 5 years that I lived in NYC. I saw everything back then!

It was so affordable then to see all those shows when a front row, center, orchestra ticket was $15.00!

I could never do the same thing today.

  21. milwlovesadam says:

Ron, thanks!! It’s just criminal how much it costs to see a show these days. Even weekday matinees are over 100 bucks a ticket.

I just looked up the weather forecast for Manahttan. Yikes. Hot and humid is an understatement. Looks like I’ll be a hot soggy mess. Better pack more baby powder.

    Ta Ta!!

  22. milwlovesadam says:

Ron, I was reminded of you over the 4th of July weekend, so many movies were on. Saw Funny Girl, Funny Lady, Chicago and few others too. But, there’s nothing like Babs belting out “My Man.” Gives me goosebumps. I’m sure you know the feeling.

  23. Ron says:

mils, I so appreciate and treasure our Barbra connection! Thanks so much for thinking of me … I also think of you when I’m watching Barbra! Please believe that!

I know it sounds corny but it was a dream come true when I saw her in concert here in Toronto, October 17th, 2006. I’ll never forget that date!

I so hope you were able to see her too during that tour!

  24. cwm says:

ewyflyer — thanks so much for the Louisville post!

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Louisville show, because that show produced one of the very best WLL’s of the entire tour. I’d put it easily within the top 5 WLL’s. IMHO. This is the one where he gave the mic 3 good licks, interspersed with that sexy smirk of his, and it included back bending and coffee table action, too. He just oozed an intense sexual energy for the entire song. And the vocals are out of this world. And the crowd was going insane for him. This is actually my favorite WLL to listen to on my ipod. Smile

Here, let me share Razz : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcsaqUVjDOg&feature=player_embedded#at=25

The comments under the YouTube video are fun to read, too.

  25. cwm says:

I worked out in the yard for most of both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, trusty ipod with me at all times; it gave me a great chance to make it through a good amount of my Adam catalog– all his pre-idol stuff, all of his AI performances and recordings, AI Tour setlist, early FYE promo appearances, acoustic stuff, Glam Nation performances… Aaah, very satisfying way to do yardwork. Smile

Did you guys see that Flecking Records declared Adam “the nicest man on Twitter?” Sweet. Of course, we already knew that. Wink

    http://www.fleckingrecords.co.uk/2011/07/adam-lambert-is-officially-adored.html

It also got picked up by the NY Magazine, which is cool:

    Two more things:
AL — I love your Adam elixir. Brilliant!

mils — I love your list of maladies and their Adam cures. Hilarious!

  26. cwm says:

I just went back and watched IIHY from the Louisville show. It was awesome too. He was on fire that night and was having a ball with the crowd, which was giving him major love.

Hi everyone! Would any of you peeps driving to St. Agathe be kind enough to do a detailed set of directions from Montreal to St. Agathe? I’m absolutely clueless. Jlurksacto, will you have a GPS in your car that has Canada locations? I’m just gonna follow behind you to and from St. Agathe if you don’t mind? Smile

  28. Kradamour says:

cher, mapquest or google maps is your friend. Put in start and end destinations and you are golden. Can even print with extra large font for easy reading on the road.

Or maybe you could charter a plane…I know you would prefer that to driving! LOL

  29. adamized says:

Good morning! If I weren’t so technically challenged I would offer to livestream our car ride to Ste Agathe. Wouldn’t people be incredably enthralled by us bonding over our life stories! Now we need to think of a flashy title to grab our viewers’ imagination. Any ideas?

  30. Northern Spirit says:

Hi cher, yes, just check out google maps. It’s a fairly direct route, hwy 15 all the way there, well, once you get out of Montreal.

Ron, you crack me up. My border crossings have been fairly normal with the exception of a couple of notable ones.

  31. adamized says:

cwm loved the WLL and IIHY vids! He was definitely inspired both vocally and visually that night. Amazing taping job. How can anyone be so steady while watching those performances. Hard to believe the camera wasn’t on a tripod.

Off to work. Have a good day everyone.

  32. jlurksacto says:

just have to worry about getting past nice border peeps. All good to go.

What bugs me is that they didn’t mention the $300,000 he raised for charity:water. I tried to find a way to contact VH1 but there doesn’t seem to be any. It would be nice if that were added to his write-up – much more impressive than the Biebs’ $150,000.

  37. cwm says:

A new picture of Adam has surfaced — apparently from a party at a nightclub (A Club Called Rhonda) the other night. He’s lookin’ good. Smile LOVE the hair color! And, uh, yeah, that tank top on him ain’t bad either. Razz

Adam wears the same outfit day into night. That’s the same shirt he wore with the daytime picture of the little girl from the other day. Sometimes I wonder about the timeline of some of these pics.

  39. cwm says:

Haha luval, yeah I just figured it was the same day.

Although take note that, for the evening, he did change his necklace and put on that strappy thing! LOL

I so agree with you, Calgary! That was such an impressive amount that Adam ended up raising for that one charity. That definitely should have been added to his list of “accolades”, and I wonder how that was missed.

However, having said all of that, I sort of feel that peeps are voting for whom they want, regardless of the write-ups. Are all those Bieber tweenies even bothering to read??? I think probably not. Wink

Nope. Just the iHeartRadio concert in Las Vegas. But no Adam on the bill (yet). If he were going to be part of that line up, I would probably go. But I’m not gonna get my hopes up.

  42. cwm says:

dcglam and calgary — I had the same impression as you about the Do Something write-up. They definitely could/should have mentioned the charity:water and DonorsChoose fundraising efforts, too. Oh well. He’s up against some heavy hitters with big fan bases there.

Since this is a fan-voted thing, I think it’s going to just end up being another fan-voted popularity contest rather than some kind of objective assessment of these artists’ altruistic acts.

  43. luval says:

Adam could just win this thing. I think you all heard that the Biebs February Vanity Fair cover was the worst selling in 12 years. Also, a big piece on either ET or Access Hollywood the other night says Bieber’s popularity is waning. He’s growing up, has a girlfriend..that he’s not so popular with the tweens anymore. But we still should vote!

  44. dcglam says:

Bieber’s popularity is waning. He’s growing up, has a girlfriend..that he’s not so popular with the tweens anymore.

This is so funny, yet so great to hear. I teach 12/13 year old students. By the end of this past year, the majority of my girls were signing their papers with Bieber as their last name!! One went so far as to have a mock wedding with all of her “bridesmaids” (friends) dressed in purple. Needless to say, I am done with the boy. LOL!

  45. luval says:

    haha dcglam…Let’s see…Luval Bieber…no. Luval Lambert..yes!! Smile

  46. luval says:

    dupicate post.

  47. Teri63 says:

Luval: LOL! I haven’t been a poster in awhile; I’ve been a sporadic loomer, but not a poster due to a crazy work schedule and busy time getting my oldest prepared to move into his first-ever apartment and my youngest all set for his first year in college. Despite my nuttiness, I recently experienced a fun “Adam moment.” I took my youngest son to his college orientation this past week and to buy his text books. I glanced at all of them, but while I was driving home, he was going page-by-page through a brand new (copyright 2012)Communications book, which was comprised of a ton of pop culture
references, including music. I happened to glance over to see a cute, albeit very made-up, Adam shot. The photo cap below discussed how Adam was the most recent pop artist to cross the line between masculinity and femininity with his apparel and “guy-liner.” The photo cap also said that he rose to fame as the runner-up of American Idol and that he became as well known for his music as he did his “gender bending” during his run on American Idol. I was so excited. My family is more than a bit sick of Adam and my fan-girling, so I wanted to share this here with peeps who would understand! LOL!

As a side note: This book had pics of Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, The Beatles, Elvis, Chuck Berry, and maybe one or two other artists pretty much unknown to me because they were before my time. I was quite excited and impressed that the author not only knew who Adam was, but included them as an important time reference.

  48. HK fan says:

I also feel that Adams Charity Water and Donors choose should have been mentioned.
as to JB, did I mention I went to see him in concert last month? It was pretty enjoyable and he did sing some live (not the greatest voice), did n’t seem as high energy as I was expecting, but apparently had rushed off stage 2 days before in Manila to throw up so maybe he was still a bit ill. The crowd was loud, lots of high pitched screaming from the young girls. Took my 9 year old daughter who loves him, it was her first concert, and I probably spent more time watching her reactions than the stage…so cute.
as to that picture of Adam with the young girl (in the black vest) there’s a nice article in the Examiner from Renee Snyder explaining what happened that day, and the mixed up reports on whether he sang or not.

  49. luval says:

Hi Teri63…been a long time! Nice to see you here. I can remember you as one of the first posters when I found mj’s in fall (I think) of 2009. Nice Adam moment. I really haven’t had one yet. Frown

  50. Teri63 says:

Hi, Luval! You’re one of my earliest Adam posting memories, too! Even though I haven’t had much time lately to post, I’m so happy there are places like this I can go to know that others share my interest(s)!
