Thanks ewyflyer for the new thread! Great picture of our boy!! I haven’t even posted in the March thread about last night’s events yet. Just got back home from my morning bus run so now I am off the listen to new songs.
Sooo exciting!! Looks like twitter was all a flutter last night.
Wow, I think Chokehold might be my favorite song I’ve heard come from Adam’s lips… That song literally pushes every button I have. Now I’m hoping that RCA follows BTIKM (which I like, just not as much as Cuckoo and Chokehold) with something wonderful. I can only imagine what’s on the rest of the album. He’s taken a long, long time, but it looks like BB has done good …REAL good.
After another listen to Cuckoo, it occurred to me – maybe we’ll get an “explicit” version of his album, lol!
Okay, so where are we pre-ordering the new CD? Although I think I already ordered one from Adam’s site, I think a few more copies may be needed – damn, I’m so excited for this new music! So far, this is so much more than I even dreamed for – c’mon Mapril!!

The audio isn’t great on the vids — seem to be a lot of background noise. Were peeps in the audience actually talking to each other during the performances??? Haha, there is the teacher side of me coming out again. I must say that I am looking forward to hearing how these songs sound on the album because that is pretty much what we will be hearing on the radio.
Sign me up for chokehold, too. Somewhat haunting, great groove, has a Depeche Mode feel. I could dance myself into a trance to this.
I just love the “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!” at the end of Chokehold!

Great idea creating a new thread, eywflyer! I LOVE the new songs and can’t wait for the album. I really look forward to hearing what the actual production on the album will sound like, since the sound was rather muddy in these recordings.
Cuckoo is a crazy combinations of styles, isn’t it? Disco verse, hair metal chorus, then dubstep into the bridge. So fun! And the lyrics are a riot, too.
I loved Chokehold on first listen. Love the melody and the vibe.
And it was great to hear the entire Trespassing. That song is intense!

I’m so excited. Grandson sent DVD of his show from europe and it won’t play on my DVDplayer so I figured out how to hookup my laptop to TV and now I can play his DVD and all of Adam on the big screen. It’s wonderful.

I loved hearing the new songs, but so far Trespassing is my favorite, both for its message and its music. I can’t sit still when I hear it. We really need to hear the studio versions, which is funny because from FYE I like all the live versions better.
I just got on my computer. Had phone problems this morning. Wile I was waiting I remember an interview he did yesterday. I thought that he was unusually excited when he said he couldn’t wait for us to hear the new songs. He knew then that he’d sing 3 of them last night. Now when I go back and watch that interview he’s looks like a kid on Christmas!

I really like all three songs. My favorite right now is Cuckcoo. To me it has a Pet Shop Boys (West End Girls), Brother Louie…by the group Stories..Bon Jovi Living on a Prayer vibe. Really like it! Chokehold has a Justin Timberlake thing going on. I mean all of these songs are different and are truly Adam. Can’t wait for the album now.

My love for Cuckoo didn’t change,now that song has a contender – “Chokehold”.
“Tresspassing” might sound entirely different on the album, but it’s not my favourite.
Reading MJs is always entertaining, we always have opionions from the usual suspect, Nele and ronnie so I don’t pay much attention to them, but first prize takes that person trying to peddle Kris song.Embarassing.
Also we have one or two trolls (how do I know that they are trolls? Just look at the activity history… ) and some ladies not very happy with Adam’s sound.
