Last night I went to see the Queen Rock Montreal Concert at my local imax, just to see what the difference is between an old concert and now. These are my takeaways:
1. Don’t sit close up at an Imax !
2. Freddie is a presence on stage, never stops wiggling his right leg, never appears out of breath. Doesn’t do high notes like Adam. Wears tight white shorts at the end
3. Queen goes from one song to another, just like today, no breaks in between.
4. Brian did the guitar solo even back then, and he plays piano on one song.
5. Fans were ecstatic at the concert, able to be right next to the stage, no barriers.
6. 6PM show, only about 20 people there
7. Brian is tall, Roger was still the cute one. lol
