Welcome to 2019! 10 years of following Adam’s career and there is plenty to celebrate. He wrapped up 2018 with a stellar performance honoring Cher. We “Believe” in Adam and have always believed. That is why we’re still here after 10 years.

The complaints about BoRap winning and Brian Singer’s criminal trouble are heating up. Apparently his name is still on the film due to union rules so he still gets a statue. So, many think the film didn’t deserve to win because of the association with Singer even though he was fired.
I think this is a whole load of crap but if they are vocal enough it is going to hurt the films Oscar chances. IMO

I saw the thing with Nicole Kidman last night. I thought at the time it was rather forward of him to place his hand on her back. She wasn’t even really facing him, but it might have just been the way she was moving, like she was going to step back or something. Afterward she seemed to acknowledge him, if I remember correctly.

ultimathule, more comments have been added to that tweet I posted. It seems as though many gay blogs (I’ve never read any) have been anti-BR and pro A Star Is Born (ASIB)and have been writing negative things about BR so as to try and sway and influence the Oscar nominee voters to not have BR in the running. From what I’ve heard the gay community loves GaGa (don’t we all?) and are very upset about BR’s win. GaGa is an ally for the gay community & apparently BR movie didn’t show enough authenticity about Freddie…so keep that BR out of the running!
I think that is very unfair to BR. And I remember when Adam first came on the national scene on Idol, he did not get support from his community. I asked my brother, who is gay, if he heard this and he said yes…but didn’t know why. Maybe jealousy? Wonder if the support has gotten better?
Anyway, Oscar nominations come out on January 22nd. I hope no one is influenced by any group. I agree with one of the commenters that BR will probably get a nomination but not the win but that’s ok. I’m excited to find out!
