Another year has come and gone and we’re still kicking! Adam had a busy second half of 2017 and will follow that up with a quick tour of New Zealand and Australia starting in February. I haven’t read them, but have heard a lot a bit the differences. This is probably the first time I haven’t read books associated with film.

I can’t help but imagine what state this fandom would be in had QAL never happened. Think about it….Boggles the mind that some resent it……….
I wonder if other fandoms have all the angst’ers and complainers and worriers and pearl clutchers and know it alls that this fandom has? Or is this unique to Glamberts?
glambotgram, wish I knew somebody in another fandom but I don’t. Have one acquaintance who loves Neil Diamond but is not connected with any organized group. Would be interesting to know what other fandoms worry about.
To my understanding, fans of younger celebs mostly angst about their love lives. And wardrobes.

I don’t think some people know what the word “successful” means.
The comments on that blog come mostly from a place of total ignorance about Adam. The belief that only radio play signifies success is common in the radio-listening generation i.e. those whining on Twitter. They want him to be in the Charlie Puth-Shaun Mendes-Nick Jonas-Demi Lovato-Taylor Swift-Katy Perry herd that produces mediocre radio fodder every few months.
I don’t think that’s his market so much, although both WWFM and GT did very well worldwide, but the twits on that blog wouldn’t know that, or how rich his 3 WW solo tours and QAL have made him.
Not even worth illuminating them.
I think Adam is very apart from the herd, positioned as an extraordinary world-class vocalist and an artist for all age audiences, even – GASP – those over 30 who like, listen to and buy good music, and love a good live vocalist/concerts.
IMHO.
