Happy New Year ALL!
2016 proved to be a busy year for Adam as he toured worldwide both as a solo artist and with Queen. Add to that appearing on X-factor Australia as a judge, on TV as Eddie in a RHPS homage, other performances on TV and also releasing several singles with various artists. We are hoping that 2017 will not be too quiet a year. No new music or concerts have been confirmed so far although hints have been dropped. Let’s cross our collective fingers that Adam has many surprises in store for us which will keep our musical blood flowing and the blog going.

Good morning. David Bowie’s birthday today.
So you all had snow huh, ultimathule and glambotgram. Saw it on the late news last night. Looked like quite a bit. We’re supposed to have a good amount later today…into tomorrow.
So Adam had a Bowie birthday party last night. Boy, lots of makeup on him! And no scruff or stache whatsoever. Love the eyes but just don’t care for the lipstick. Too much. Apparently he takes off the lipstick as the night goes on. So here’s some snapchats or youtubes.

I don’t mind him wearing lipstick..its just the colour…I don’t really like it when my daughters wears that colour either…love the blue suit though and the eye makeup…
I’m immobilized here with our second ice storm in 3 weeks. We got a substantial dump of snow a few days ago and now there’s a thick layer of ice over all of it from freezing rain today. It’s visually lovely but sure is playing havoc with transportation and normal routines! Just watched a big pick-up truck slide down our hill sideways. Yikes.
It’s always interesting to me to see some people’s reactions when Adam pushes a boundary, like last night’s lipstick. I find myself wondering how more casual and new fans might react to the boundary pushing, and whether any of them will be turned off by it. He has lost some followers on Instagram in the last 24 hours. But I fully support Adam being fully himself, and if some people can’t get on board with that, then so be it!
luval – I also receive Terrance’s tweets at 6:00am every morning. But those are automated horoscope tweets. Terrance isn’t up sending them out himself. I follow a few people whose accounts send out automated horoscope tweets at exactly 6:00am their time every morning. So it must be some kind of automated setting that people can choose.

I’m wondering, along with riskylady and others, I think, about the “TRUTH” circle graph and the breakdown of who gets movie roles. Do you think he lost out on a role he really wanted? He sure seemed (at least to me) poised to do something in film or TV this coming year. Maybe he just thought “the hell with it” and decided to to just let loose: makeup, red, red lipstick, glorious purple flowered suit, etc. etc. He’s been so focused and mostly normatively controlled in 2016, I’m kind of glad to see him letting his freak flag fly high!
