Happy New Year ALL!
2016 proved to be a busy year for Adam as he toured worldwide both as a solo artist and with Queen. Add to that appearing on X-factor Australia as a judge, on TV as Eddie in a RHPS homage, other performances on TV and also releasing several singles with various artists. We are hoping that 2017 will not be too quiet a year. No new music or concerts have been confirmed so far although hints have been dropped. Let’s cross our collective fingers that Adam has many surprises in store for us which will keep our musical blood flowing and the blog going.

Also, Can’t Go Home is the second most streamed track of Adam’s on Spotify, after GT, at 23 million. GT has over 150 million. And GT video will hit 81 million tomorrow for sure, now at 80.966 million.

I was watching WTTS linked above, and it carries on into Adams other videos, including the vevo ones…his numbers have increased a lot, probably since GT came out, hopefully people checking his other stuff. i found a little notebook the other day where I had put the viewing numbers in the back…didn’t date it though…but FYE has gone up from 17,858,975 to 31,48,925….wwfm from 35,789,901 to 64,156,021…IIHY from 36,823,372 to 59,231,009….pretty impressive…even NCOE is up to over 33million…
Great numbers, HK fan! I’ve noticed increases on QAL and his concert vids and even interviews too. And lots of great comments too, about vocals especially, and many from guys.

That pie chart Adam posted (https://twitter.com/14gelly/status/816931007081435137/photo/1) is very sad. And it is “truth”, IMO. Wouldn’t be surprised if his team searches for roles and finds nothing. In this era of hate it’s going to be very hard for people like him to find a spot in the movie/tv entertainment biz. Casting directors don’t want to take a chance of alienating their audiences & they need to watch their bottom line. Very disturbing.We’ve gone back 50 years in an instant. Of course I hope I am wrong and again IMO.

A belated happy New Year to everyone and big hugs and thanks to those of you who keep the home fires burning. The compilation posted by riskylady above is so wonderful in that it captures Adam’s diversity and growth over the past years. I think my favorite performance and look from all of these is “Red House”. I think this type of music suites his voice so perfectly. Wish he sang more blues. Having one tattooed and one natural arm was a great look IMHO.
Looking forward to more Adam goodness in 2017.

He’s right. I saw LaLa Land yesterday. A sweet movie. I judge a movie when I keep thinking about it after I leave the theater…totally forgot about this one. The acting was wonderful. Didn’t care for the ending. Not sure it deserves all the accolades & award nominations it got. It’s an OK movie.
