Adam celebrates the start to the new year in Singapore and then it’s time for “The Original High Tour”. It kicks off in China before heading to Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and wrapping up in Australia. January will be a busy month of concerts and travel (and late nights for fans not in those time zones tuning in to watch/hear the concerts live). We’re excited to see what Adam has in store for us and hope that an announcement will be made soon for a North American tour!

    Kiwi, thanks for that Coke vs Oreo article. I have never seen the Coke commercial. And honestly I thought the Oreo commercial was just about a great cookie! Guess I’m not that deep.

    I think The Light should be the next single…..going from my 21 yo sons reaction to GT, he loved it, streamed it a lot, loved the deep house on it…the only other song he liked on listening to some of the album was The Light, also because of the dance and deep house on it. So i think that should be the next song, will reach the same demographic as GT and be a hit.

    The views on ALN have increased a lot in the last couple of days.

    I like both The Light and Things I Didn’t Say for next possible singles. The Light is unbelievably catchy.

    Evil in the Night and Underground would also have been great singles, though not as first choices. I also like After Hours and I LOVE Shame. These Boys is so good, too. Taylor Swift would be #1 with a song like that. To bad bonus tracks don’t count (why?)

    The biggest radio station here keeps playing GT so ALN will take a bit of time. It is creeping up, though.

    Adam’s US tour is starting in 3-1/2 weeks and that will really push up ALN. Here’s betting he will do radio wherever he goes and a bit of TV. Plus an Idol stint.

    My favorite song on TOH is still Lucy, but I also love The Light and TOH. I think either of those songs would do very well as the next single. They’re both very catchy and have the added advantage of showing off Adam’s gorgeous vocals.

    My favorite is Lucy, but they would never play it on the radio, its such a sing a long song, and I love rock songs. Next to that is After Hours, so good. I am not a big fan of The Light, I dont know why. I love TOH but I dont think it would be a hit, I dont know why, GT is so different I think thats why it caught on, whatever they release needs to be like that, different to catch the non Glamberts ears.

    Just want to give another thought on promotion. All the promotion he did for BTIKM didn’t help one bit on radio playing this song. And even though he sang GT on many of the major talk shows that didn’t help either. They never played it on the top station in my town. Thank goodness it’s doing pretty good on its own. And glad to hear ALN is being played in dance clubs.

    ALN is #50 on Top40 this week, down from #45, but it’s moving up nicely on HAC, up to #23 from #26 last week, and passed Tori’s Hollow at #11 on Dance Club to #10. So it is catching on somewhere. http://hitsdailydouble.com/mediabase_chart_details&fmt=A2
    The two songs at 22 and 21 on HAC by Demi and Jess Glynne are coming down, and with a few new adds on HAC maybe it moves up some more.
    Adam will be back in the US soon, so maybe will see some kind of action then. And when he starts the US dates.
