I don’t love QAL, waiting for Adam’s own music, but did want to check in for the Zénith. Sounds like it was a terrific concert!
I enjoyed the translations…one omission that Google would not likely pick up…ptn is short for putain, a fairly crude exclamation. The literal translation is “whore”.
The Glamnation tour in 2010 also had a tiny venue in Paris, the smallest on the tour, capacity only about 700.
I love that Brian speaks French!
Off again now, not to be seen or heard from for a while. My mother’s death is imminent, and we are focusing on that and praying for a gentle passing. Son flying home this weekend to say good-bye. Sister coming next week. A huge blessing came to me in the form of an unexpected request last week to come and teach French in the school that is literally one block from my house. It will be wonderful to have that while I grieve – there is no place that I would rather be than in a classroom.
Oh, and Crazy Horse? It is the most respectable of the girlie shows (to use an old but appropriate phrase). It is VERY competitive to become a Crazy Horse performer, and they are extremely well paid.
Do I dimly remember Adam going there in 2010? I think so.

Kradamour, so glad you found a few minutes to come here. I know that you have probably gone by now, but I just wanted you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts. Cherish the fact that you can be with your mother now and that she is surrounded by her family. Not everybody is so lucky.

My mom is doing ok. Her mind has its good and bad days. When my sister told her I had broken my ankle and needed help, she said I need an au pair. Really? Wonder where that came from. Then when told my aunt ( her youngest sister) is taking care of me while DH is away, she said my aunt is now the child’s mother. Then she said she was gonna come down here and curse out my DH for going away and leaving me alone. Sometimes she can be really funny without meaning to be but it’s so sad we have to see her to go through this. She’s very pleasant and happy though. She thinks nothing is wrong with her and that’s ok.
kiwi Always fun to hang with Glamberts. No one else understands us. Sorry you are so far away. We do have so much fun when we bert during our concert trips.
cwm, thanks for the dadbert vid. He is so cool. I was able to go eat out last night and get a good steak. However, believe it or not those who know my food habits, I didn’t finish my meal, not even close. I have had to cut back because I am sedentary for the foreseeable future and have to watch my food intake. Bummer. I brought the rest home for later today. I also cut off most of my hair for easier
handling. It’s above my shoulders now. Not been this short since I was 21 years old. Well that’s only 8 years ago?

Hmmmm… A photographer tweeted abput a photo shoot yesterday and specifically mentioned Brian and Adam. I wonder if that’s related to this announcement. If so, that would imply that it’s QAL-related, like more tour dates or something. South America maybe?

Have to leave for sculpture at just after 5:00, the time of the announcement. I will have to try and see it and then run. And the class is til 9:00, when the concert starts, so if they start 15-30 minutes late, I had better leave a couple of minutes early. I hate doing it, since I will miss a class when I go to Prague, but I do love listening to the live streams.
Well well a big announcement. Twitter is funny speculating. Chunkey of course has a few thoughts: he’s announcing his engagement. He’s been lying all these years about making a good scrambled egg & he hates icecream. Brian has filed paperwork to formally adopt him. He’s getting a law passed to ban the word “glamily”……..and on and on.

I think it’s significant that he’s making an announcement on his birthday rather than coincidence. One hour 15 minutes-ish.
Gah!!!!! I won’t be home to hear the big news. A wedding announcement isn’t likely and a charity announcement would be nice but I want a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. Like his single is being released to radio in the next 10 days and he will be home to promote it by the end of the month….

Hair grows approximately 1/2″ per month, cher, so it will be 2″ longer by the time you get your cast off. You will be able to swing your leg and your locks before you know it.
QAL are up one percentage point today – 55%. This is good. If the Foreigner fans see us picking up steam even a little bit right now that will discourage them from a last ditch effort. I know a fan who sets her alarm and votes hourly. The thought of that poor little muffin having to sit there for another weekend bothers me immensely. NVM, she’ll probably do it anyway.
