   Yes it really was a surprise. I’m strictly a lurker and don’t interact with anyone or post there. It was one of several reasons why I thought they wouldn’t be interested in me. Who am I? No one knows me. But it looks like that didn’t matter.

   I certainly posted under the video to thank them but now it’s back to lurkdom for me.

   Fascinating group of people! One person worked at MGM during the 40’s and knew Judy Garland – she has nothing but nice things to say about her – and several authors who’ve written books about her are members. I’m always learning interesting tidbits here and there.

    The Glamnation Live DVD is out of stock as well – Amazon UK.

    Trespassing and the Glamnation DVD were first. Yesterday there were 12 FYE CDs left and every hour or so it would be one less. When it got down to two it stayed that way. Than this morning all of a sudden it was ‘in stock’, but a little later it was ‘temporarily out of stock’.

    Yeah, he did pull at the crotch of a female dancing above him, and a lot of the haters who didn’t want to sound homophobic claimed that that was the thing that disturbed them, not the man-on-man kiss, but I agree, it is old news. Adam is way beyond that now.

    Our dear cher tripped on a stair Thursday night and seriously broke one ankle and sprained the other one. Poor baby is in pain and feeling so bad for being “clumsy”. She will know in Monday if she needs surgery. In the meantime, she is surrounded by loving friends and family who are helping. The worst part is that she might not make it to Milan for the QAL concert next month

    Sending out good vibes to the Universe for a quick and full recovery. Love you sweetie

    So sorry to hear that cher broke her ankle – my sister did that about three years ago – very difficult injury – the ankle is one of the worst things to break – hoping the best for her and that it’s not too complicated a one –

    cher Get well soon ! It’s not much fun when you are not allowed to put your feet on the floor. Anything easy becomes a hassle. Hope the can find a cure soon.

    I once sprained my ankle heavily and ( presumably )broke the tip of my ankle bone after a fall from the LOWEST step of the stairs… I was distracted and did not pay attention when I was going down the stairs … no surgery required.. however, still had to be in plaster for 1,5 month while not allowed to step on the ground… Tiring to hop around with crutches to go to the bathroom or in the mall. After that I still had to walk around another 1,5 months with crutches…but was able to step on the ground.. The moment I was able to put my feet on the ground really felt like a huge relief.

    On the other hand.. the whole incident make me think about Adam. I improved my fast thinking skills and my patience. Having to tell about the incident at least 50 times, I was able to summarize it in one sentence while not looking bored. Then I thought about Adam how he has to go through hundreds of interviews, sometimes answering the same questions with a smile as if he has heard the question for the first time.

    ETA: when I told about the incident to my social circle, one of my relatives said: ” Did you fall because you were distracted by an image/poster of Adam Lambert ?

    No me. As much as I adore Queen+Adam Lambert, this summer I want Adam to be touring to promote his own new album. He can’t be identified only as Queen’s frontman, however great he performs that job. He is so much more than that!

    oh, Cher, our Cher, I’m so sorry to hear about your ankles. Please feel better soon, I hope your injury doesn’t keep you from seeing your shows with everyone.

    My son broke his ankle several years ago, non-weight bearing on crutches for a couple of months. He got through it just fine and healed up quite well.

    At least you don’t live where there is snow and ice!! Trust me, slipping around in that shit on crutches is no party.

    Sending you lots of healing thoughts.
