After rocking in the New Year on BBC One, Adam and Queen will be heading out on tour again this month. They will be performing 26 shows throughout the UK and Europe starting January 13th in Newcastle and wrapping up in Sheffield on February 27. And then maybe we might get some new music from Adam later this springISH?! Photos from the Classic Rock/Team Rock.

Oh, and we can’t forget Adam’s guest judge appearance on Idol on January 15th!

    gosh…eyes have gone funny from watching all the clips and reading all the comments on MJ’s…..

    Loving what I’ve seen so far…..I like Keith, bring him back, get rid of Harry and keep Adam….

    probably won’t be able to watch Idol tonight (might catch the last half hour) as have to take my son and his mates to a football match. will have to try and get the replay at some point over the weekend.

    Loved Jax best from tonight, and Travis definitely had something.

    It’s such fun stanning our gorgeous, intelligent, funny, sings like an angel, can judge like a boss, fashionista, Greek god-like, GFG guy!
    Things have been a bit crazy so I’m playing catch up, but did manage to watch AI. He was so great!

    So excited about the label and album news! Fantastic timing!

    Just finished watching last night’s AI on my computer. It was the first thing I did this morning with my breakfast (loooong breakfast ROTFL) Adam was everything you have all said already, a really great judge. What stood out to me was how attentive he was to every auditioner, even the bad ones. While the other two, and especially Harry, talked and futzed around during the auditions (which had to be distracting to an already nervous kid) Adam gave them the serious undivided attention they deserved. I am sure that this is a result of his being a previous contestant himself and knowing what it feels like to be standing there.

    There is no question in my mind that Adam is the best judge Idol has ever had (I’m not prejudiced Laugh) and in a multidimensional world he should replace Harry, but in this world, as much as I would love to see more of him on my TV, I wouldn’t want Adam to be a permanent judge, or a permanent fixture on any TV show. He has to leave people wanting more and searching him out in different milleus, LIKE HIS NEW MUSIC! I can’t wait for it to come out, but I will be on pins and needles until it does, hoping that it will be a style that I like. Of course, because it is Adam’s voice, I will love the singing, but sometimes it takes me a while to appreciate the songs when they are in a genre that I haven’t connected to in the past. No worries, though, because in the end I always get into it Dance Jump Clap

    @michaelsarver1: Too cool seeing @adamlambert on @AmericanIdol tonight. I love the non sugar coated honesty! These singer need that truth good or bad.

    I love the way Michael Sarver has been so vocally supportive of Adam ever since they were on Idol together. Knowing Adam opened his eyes and totally changed his previously held views of the world, and he publicly acknowledged it. Brave man where he comes from.

    Holy crap, it’s 6:30am and I just finished catching up on everything over the last 24 hours – the label/album/single announcement, Idol judging, QAL Glasgow gig, etc.

    How am I ever going to keep up once Era 3 starts in earnest? OMG! Work really has a way of cutting into berting time. Who needs sleep I guess, huh?

    And Adam was wonderful on Idol last night. Perfect.

    rs – Thanks for sharing Lyndsey’s article with us ALL. I love her articles and her completely justified love of AFL – GFG. I agree with you, not her, about Adam being a permanent judge. I think Adam is exploding and won’t have time for anything more than an occasional guest appearance. Next time he is on Idol he should be performing his new hit single in April. That being said, he’s earned a permanent gig as the #1 substitute judge any time someone can’t be there. After all, he is as pretty and has more talent (or at least as much) as any of the three. Plus he’s shown that he can handle being a tough judge which is hard for a lot of folks in the music business!

    Unfortunately the ratings last night were lower than last Thursday. It’s that first crappy hour on Wednesday that turns people off. And of course the well may be dry. As glambotgram said, Adam broke Idol.
