After rocking in the New Year on BBC One, Adam and Queen will be heading out on tour again this month. They will be performing 26 shows throughout the UK and Europe starting January 13th in Newcastle and wrapping up in Sheffield on February 27. And then maybe we might get some new music from Adam later this springISH?! Photos from the Classic Rock/Team Rock.

Oh, and we can’t forget Adam’s guest judge appearance on Idol on January 15th!

I think they just had to get all their ducks in a row so to speak. WB called the next day but when was the “deal” actually signed? He was writing but when exactly did he call Max Martin. Maybe it was weeks before they could get together. Then, of course Queen called. I’ll bet his management said to go with it until everything is signed and sealed. Never thinking what a success the tour would be … had to include Europe but only in the dead of winter! Gives time for Adam’s own stuff after. Most people were assuming this anyway.

Just imagining all this but I think it takes a bit of time for everything to fall into place. And Mr. Perfection Adam just can’t get something out there quick. He’s always late!!!

glambotgram, you know that Adam has been sidetracked fronting a little band and touring lately. I am sure that if he wasn’t with Queen this year the album would be out already. He worked on the single in Sweden last year! But the timing is so important and he has to be around for the release. We know that there have been problems with that in the past. So I guess that they wanted the QAL tour to be over and Adam firmly back in the States before new music is released.

BTW, did you all notice that he just tweeted “New album this spring”. That is earlier than what was written in the Billboard article or in the QAL book (summer). Hope he is right!

Why the secrecy ? Timing is everything… also with the Warner Bross Announcement… If you notice after the longer Borap version of Adam’s “audition 2014”, Idol shows following text on the screen: “Superstars made here”… So the Warner Bross Announcement fits right there…

Drive-by posting here…I peek sometimes but RL is keeping me way busy, some good some bad…watched Idol tonight and was so so proud of Adam, so comfortable but intense! Loved that he was not a pushover for golden tickets- I wonder if that would have been a fear of the Idol producers? They should have known that he would be the consummate professional!

Idol just started and I just sat down to watch. I’ve been swamped with work all day so I haven’t read any tweets or comments about how Idol judging went. Can’t wait to watch!
