After rocking in the New Year on BBC One, Adam and Queen will be heading out on tour again this month. They will be performing 26 shows throughout the UK and Europe starting January 13th in Newcastle and wrapping up in Sheffield on February 27. And then maybe we might get some new music from Adam later this springISH?! Photos from the Classic Rock/Team Rock.

Oh, and we can’t forget Adam’s guest judge appearance on Idol on January 15th!

Hicher, good to hear that ALL-ers are helping you out… I remember wearing my crutches at the wrong length, i did not pay attention to the measurements on the lower end of the crutches.. So because I used my crutches at a length that was too long, it’s upper end pushed into my armpit and my nerve so one of my hands became a bit weak…It was so funny when I hopped on my crutches into rehabiliation to ask them to handle my hand instead. I have to admit that no one really taught me how to use my crutches. But then again, after having my cast, no one referred me to rehabilitation.

Hi axxxel. Just got from from the surgeon’s office. Surgery area still too swollen for a boot so he resplinted the foot and I have to lie fairly flat with my foot way up high for the next 10 days til he sees me again. Bummer. Thank goodness QAL starts tomorrow.

Hi cher, oh dear, 10 days… It feels like an eternity… So lucky for you to have QAL to keep your mind off, and maybe those concerts will give you inspiration for the positive meditation… Like I said before, I did not have any surgery but it took a couple of months before the swelling is over and I could fit in nicer shoes. In my swollen up period, I even bought male boots because at that time they were the only ones with low heels. Only after I was healed, then only came a whole new trend of boots with lower heels for women in the shoestores… Hhmm..

cher – I’m sure the doctor doesn’t think you’ll need the permit that long – it just saves him the trouble of issuing another one in Mapril! And they do come in handy to have. Never been described as bubbly before – that’s Adam’s doing! I’m here if you want to chat – I’ll try to check in every hour or so. Can’t get you a glass of water or bowl of soup but let me know if I can do anything to cheer you up!

Aw, show starts at 10:00pm my time and I will be at my weekly Scrabble club until about 11:00. As much as I would love to be here watching or listening to a live stream, I can’t really justify staying home. Hopefully I will make the last half of the concert and by morning there will be vids of what I missed. It will be interesting to see what new songs are added. Since I don’t really know the Queen songbook very well it always takes me a bit of time to familiarize myself with the new songs. And I always miss the ones that are left out. I was so happy to see IWTBF again at the NYE concert, and I keep remembering when I was there live for the “split pants” version.

cher you will need that handicapped permit for when you go to physio, and that only starts after the cast comes off in three months. You could still have some aches and pains, especially when it rains, so why not take advantage of being able to park close and not have to walk great distances to get where you are going. And from the date it looks like they routinely give them for six months. He probably didn’t think too much about it.

It seems that the live streams will be audio only from reading tweets from @mmadamimadamm. She is doing a great job arranging those and also updating the spreadsheet for the concert sales and later, for videos when they start appearing.

Better to have good audio than iffy video and audio. We’ll see how it is in about 27 hours.

Newcastle show is 4am here….don’t think I’ll be watching!!

wow Cher 4 years for a disabled permit!!! I wish I could get that here….we are unable to get an orange badge and parking permit here for our son, even though he’s wheelchair bound, can’t even stand and totally dependant on carers, and the car is wheelchair accessible….they only issue permits here to disabled drivers, not passengers…..everytime we park in a diabled bay, we risk a parking ticket. Its very frustrating.

Cher, my dear, that will give you access to up close parking and great seats at shows, with close bathrooms. That’s what you will get.

When I saw Idols in Milw I was in a full length leg immobilizer, after I broke my knee, OY, don’t even ask, BUT, I was there, with my car virtually up against the barricades, and had not one , but , TWO close up encounters with our boy, got two signatures, and some one on one convo and major eyes. And I mean, EYES on me and talking to me.

There are perks to the handicap sticker. Just sayin’.

Hi Mieps, your blog looks terrific, and I remember our dinner together fondly!

Well, I will be at work for the whole show tomorrow, and likely for every Monday-Friday show. It’s just the timing.

On the up side, by the time I get home vids and audios should be available, and twitter for recaps, etc.
