   Would never have watched Idol if #4 daughter hadn’t called up one night and said, “Mom, you’ve got to watch this crazy British judge on this program.” So I did. Was S4.

   We (#4 and then, #6) sorta watched Idol together, laughing over the phone at the crazy candidates, not really taking it seriously. Then, one day, just minding my own business, this boy walks in, smiles at the camera, and then – gone, baby, gone.

   The rest is history.

    Retjenny, when the gals at the NYE concert mentioned the bags you provided for Jlurks cd’s and they got to keep them it made me think of the bag you made especially for me. It will always remind me of the Des Moines show (which you use photo’s from), of Phoenix and you and Mr. showing me such a warm and fun welcome. Yes Adam fans from ALL are the best. I too watched all seasons of Idol and seasons five and eight were the standouts. I just hope this year turns out good but so far I’ve seen so many guitars, singer-songwriters, etc. I’m beginning to worry. I know there won’t be another Adam but please Idol get someone to liven things up.

    Since I’m a Sauli fan, I just wondered if Adam on ice skating video was for Sauli’s benefit, since he relearned how to skate and won Dancing On Ice. Also Danielle showed up in a recent picture with Sauli so they share many friends. Sauli posted that he spent Christmas in San Diego. He didn’t say with friends or any other comment which left some folks saying the only person he knows from there is Adam. I’m sure they are both single and hope they can remain friends it certainly would make life easier. They both seem happy and that’s what matters.

    My take is since they had to cancel, just like last year, Adam will step in to preform again. Sting was supposed to preform last year but couldn’t make the rescheduled date so Adam did. I am kind of reading between the lines. Could be wrong.

    HK fan… When I get home from work today I will check out what I have and let you know. It’s a great DVD and has the commercials, group songs, etc. Haven’t watched it in quite a while but this 5 year (can’t believe how time flies) mark since “mama” will have me loving it all over again.

    nkd- I suspect all the good seats for the WAFF concert were sold out for the original date, but if we’re lucky some might turn up for the new date. Other than the terrible climb to the nosebleed section and being treated like we had some undesirable social disease, our seats last year for WAFF were fine. We could see well and the acoustics were great. I’m up for another NYC adventure myself. We had such a good time.
