2013 will apparently begin with a rather quiet month for Adam, as he has only one performance currently scheduled. This will be a Hennessy Artistry event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on January 4. After that, Adam’s next scheduled event is the kickoff of his international “non-tour” in Seoul, South Korea on February 17. There is no official word as yet on whether some North American dates will eventually be added to the non-tour in the spring, but recent comments from Adam have not been very optimistic.

Above we see Adam performing at his final concert of 2012, at the Mulia Resort in Bali, Indonesia. Happy New Year and enjoy the chat!

    That article above is reporting earnings from 5/2011 to 5/2012. Before TP was out and before Queen. This makes more sense.

    Thanks for posting the entire Forbes article, aely. That’s an important clarification – the time period they looked at.

    From the article:

    Our numbers are based on estimated income from May 2011 to May 2012, before subtracting taxes, American Idol’s cut and any additional fees for agents, lawyers and managers.

    So, they are looking at the time period during which Adam was recording the album and doing the Spring radio promo tour. It excludes the Trespassing album revenue, and it excludes all of his shows since June, including Queenbert and the lucrative Asian gigs.

    I’d say $1.5 million (gross) is pretty dang good, given that Adam was “only” recording and doing promo during the target timeframe! I wonder how much of that $1.5 mil went to Idol (19R), attorneys, and management, and how much he got to keep. I’m so glad that he’s now out from under his contract with 19R – now he gets to keep all of the money that he was forking over to them.

    And, next year should be a lot more revenue reported, given the album release and touring between May 2012 and May 2013. Looking forward to seeing these numbers next year!

Adam Lambert toured his way to $6 million in earnings in 2011 and this year falls to No. 7 with $1.5 million after taking time off to record Trespassing. The new album was released after the end of our scoring period, but debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts with 78,000 copies sold its first week.

    Adam’s big BD charity and the greetings from people all over the world, media, other artists, music industry and more were not on the 29th Jan. headlines news, but 2-3 days ago thread that fell off 1st current headlines page.

    But when there are negative gossip news, Adam-gates, they would be up there in a nano second and people won’t hesitate to knock him down.
    When I saw the news about Idol’s ranks in Forbes and Adam is down to #7, I knew that it’s going to be a field day over there.
    I’ll stay away for a while.

    Right now, I’m EXCITED for the WAFF Gala and the livestreams, videos, recaps, and photos from the concert.
    And to the lucky people who are getting ready to go to the WAFF Gala concert …

    @asifcluelessI feel the same as you and it was really upsetting that not one of the fans of others wished a Happy Birthday on the thread…When they do for others they are not fans off. I would love to know what it is about Adam that makes the fans of others ban together…They are like bullies…

    Just want to mention on the January calendar on the right of this page the only dates highlighted are January 4th & 5th. I clicked on the 20th(the day Adam’s exercise keek came out) and of course it didn’t work. Not really a problem but I thought I’d mention it.

    The weather for NYC should be interesting. Foggy, windy, snowy, ….now all we need is Doppy and Sneezy. It will be a challenge to figure out what to bring. Feel very lucky that I’m going. Have been dreaming about seeing Adam do Shady with Niles and Sam since I first heard about it.

    Off to go pack.
