2013 will apparently begin with a rather quiet month for Adam, as he has only one performance currently scheduled. This will be a Hennessy Artistry event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on January 4. After that, Adam’s next scheduled event is the kickoff of his international “non-tour” in Seoul, South Korea on February 17. There is no official word as yet on whether some North American dates will eventually be added to the non-tour in the spring, but recent comments from Adam have not been very optimistic.

Above we see Adam performing at his final concert of 2012, at the Mulia Resort in Bali, Indonesia. Happy New Year and enjoy the chat!

    Love his “elf shoes” as I call them. I think those got him in trouble at the AMA’s…so long and stair trip-worthy. Smile

    Thank you TLKC for your interesting thoughts re Adam air play. So is the situation pretty much the same in Canada than it is in US? No Adam air play Frown? I am afraid many countries follow what US plays. Too aggressive requesting can definitely irritate them too. But I remember Adam has asked in twitter fans to request his songs. But apparently some have done it wrong way…

    asif, I have also voted on that poll, every round. It surprises me how enthusiastic fans Fifth Harmony have. They have beat many big names like ABBA and Carrie Underwood… It would be ridiculous if someone wins who hasn’t even made an album yet.

    I think popdust puts Adam on its polls to get hits. But I think its pretty much of a teenybopper site. Did you see the results of their last poll? The two top by far were Bieber and One Direction.

    Was just read Huff posts article on Beyonce, scrolled down and watched the Britney Spears behind the mic clips…wow, Don’t think I have ever heard anything so bad…

    So re radio…..radio stations won’t play Adams music if fans request because they are spamming the stations, on the other hand they won’t play Adams music if no one requests it as it means there is no interest in it???

    Am voting on the popdust poll but its really slow…..can’t belive Fifth Harmony have so many people voting…what have they ever done apart from have one reasonable cover on x factor??

    So, I have a 4000 post- roller toaster? Is that like a roller coaster? Or does it mean that I can only toast rolls? What if I like a bagel? Or an English Muffin? Or fat-free low-carb multi-grain high fiber bread? Or is that a toaster on wheels? Like a suitcase on wheels? Does it have a handle to pull through an airport?

    Or does it just mean that I am a major post ho?

    Thanks to all for kind wishes for our trip to NYC next week! We promise recaps, and with the TALC ladies there, you will all probably have a better sense of things than us way back in the cheap seats! (We didn’t spring the $1500 for the seated VIP seats, saved them for the safety pin ladies…)

    Russell Crowe posts a studio version of Stars from Les Mis. The article is saying that Russell had the last laugh on Adam, but for me it just substantiates Adam’s statement that they should have studio recorded the vocals.

    Watched some idol parts. As much as I like Keith on idol: comparing country music to brain surgery was just a bit of a stretch. I guess the phrase “the country thing” really rubbed him the wrong way for a second. What Randy and friends were right about though is this: the music industry seems to like it if you tell them exactly what drawer you belong into. Adam is a difficult fit for any drawer.

    Thanks for posting that Russell Crowe piece, nkd. I agree with you that it just substantiates Adam’s statement – but I think the statement from Adam that it substantiates is not just about how the vocals should have been studio recorded, but that basically, Crowe is not much of a singer. I listened to the studio version of Stars posted in that article, and read the comments on youtube. Crowe’s fans are falling all over themselves praising how splendid he sounds, but sorry, he did not sing that song particularly well, even in that studio version. His control is sloppy and his emotion is flat. Did absolutely nothing for me. I would call it ok at best.

    I agree cwm, Russell didn’t sound that wonderful in the studio version either. So as Adam said, they should have studio recorded and sweetened the vocals.
    Or hire actors that can sing live.

    That new rendition by Crowe is just boring, but I find most of Les Miz’s music boring anyway (sorry, Adam, et al.). (“I screamed a scream.” – lol).

    He enjoys sitting at my feet and listening to Adam talk and sing. And he has never once asked me about his sexual orientation, why he wears makeup, or why his songs aren’t played on radio. It’s very calming.

    Hello! Quick in-and-out to say I am voting on the Pop Dust poll and feeling like a dingbat, too. Why did we take this up? I haven’t voted like this in ages. Remember when Adam was leading Avril Lavigne and then a Chinese fan comandeered her minions and we lost at the last minute. YAY!!!! to @glam_idol and Adam’s Chinese fans.

    I think Sauli is smoking hot too! Very bendy, very cute, very boyish and very manly as well. It’s hard to be all four. And speaking of hard – that’s a hard body…

    I have been voting like crazy since yesterday, too. When I came on Adam was losing 49-51, then he evened it out, then was losing again when I went to bed. When I got up he was ahead 53-49, and quickly went down to 52-48 and that is where it has stayed for a few hours. It is totally nuts, and I agree that those teeny boppers must have an automated voting system, but no matter how ridiculous, I just can’t let Adam lose to a Simon Cowell recently generated X-Factor girls group.

    I went to vote and when I did, the vote count went from 51 – 49 to 52 – 48. It gave me such a good feeling. I am now embarrassed that it had such an effect on me! But probably not embarrassed enough to not see if I can do it again. OH, ADAM!!!
