2013 will apparently begin with a rather quiet month for Adam, as he has only one performance currently scheduled. This will be a Hennessy Artistry event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on January 4. After that, Adam’s next scheduled event is the kickoff of his international “non-tour” in Seoul, South Korea on February 17. There is no official word as yet on whether some North American dates will eventually be added to the non-tour in the spring, but recent comments from Adam have not been very optimistic.

    According to their website, Energy is an internet radio station, so I don’t believe they are broadcasting over the airwaves in the UK.

    Today, Trespassing moved up a few spots on iTunes, from 171 to 167 in the Top Pop 200. Keep going, little album that could……

    Just a comment on the Adam/RCA issue: Posters elsewhere keep harping about US radio, ignoring the fact that outside the US Adam got and is still getting radio play enough to chart and obviously generate some sales, enough to justify concerts.
    I also believe Sony/RCA, especially Sony global, would want to hold on to an artist who has the unique position of being blessed by the Chinese, having been invited there numerous times, performed in huge events, interviewed and recognized by the official media, and now having his own concert there. The huge Chinese market is very desirable and notoriously difficult to penetrate. I read in the Miami Herald that Brad Pitt, after being banned for his Seven Years in Tibet movie, has now been allowed to have a Weibo account, bragging about his 100k followers. Adam has almost TWICE that, at 196k followers.
    Not to mention, his popularity in many other countries (and MANY more Asian countries than David Cook ever had).
    So maybe Sony, the parent company of RCA, had a lot to do with retaining Adam.

    I just came home and turned on the energy channel. While I was writing them a thank-you email, Underneath came on. I hope that they continue. They seem to be playing Adam more than any other singer right now. Have they played Trespassing?

    I always miss Pop That Lock!!

    Here is a play by play of Bowie’s songs. One is called “Dirty Boys” and it’s described as very sleazy. Shades of Shady??? lol!

    I swear Bowie is aware of Adam & his music…they may have the same mind set in the writing area. I know he got my letter two years ago! Wink

    luval, I never listen to the music stations here, just the general ones with mostly talking. I am not crazy about Israeli pop music, and in the car I always listen to my Adam CDs. Now I think I will be listening to a UK station while I am doing stuff at home. When you think about it it’s really funny.

    luval Yes, when Shady came on, I sent them another thank you email. I love that song and cant figure out why it wasn’t put out as a single. I have it on my workout playlist and when I played it for my aquafit class they loved it. Trespassing on now! I wonder if someone there is a glambert???

    They are going to be deluged with emails from all over the world. I wonder if they have any idea what they are in for. Only good things can happen to them as a result of this. Now that I have heard Shady and Trespassing I must tear myself away and go to bed. MY new mattress was delivered this morning and I have to try it out. Maybe tomorrow I will hear OOL.     We are not personal supporters of Adam as we wasn’t fully aware of him until he was brought to our attention by another listener. We are a supporter via the radio and listening to some of his music we can confirm we like him so I suppose in a way we are a personal supporter in some sence.

    They are playing Adam almost ever 20 minutes. People listening to this station may not know who is singing because they dj’s never announce the song/singer. Hopefully some will become interested and like the music enough to buy it!

    I have been listening to energyradio, too. Requested PTL this morning but had to leave for work before they played it. I did hear WWFM, OOL and Shady, though.

    Was about to ask if this radio station was some guy working out of his basement and then Calgary mentioned that they were concerned about keeping their broadcasting license.

    Which is good. Then I saw their spelling……
