The Glam Nation Tour played its first date in Southern California, at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa. This was the first of a two night stand at the Amphitheatre, which saw the largest confirmed crowds of the entire U.S. portion of the tour (over 8000 each night). These dates were also some of the most lucrative of the tour, with reported grosses of over $210,000 for each night (the only higher gross reported would come at the Seminole Hard Rock in South Florida which came in at almost 250K). There was also a dinner gathering before this show, organized by our own Adamland, which included quite a few folks who were MJ’ers at the time and are now on this site.
