January was all celebrations and parties. It started with the new year and then Adam’s 10th Anniversary on Idol. Then it was a surprise performance on The Late Late Show and another at a private birthday event in Italy before he headed to London to celebrate his own birthday. Following that, it was back to work to spend time with Brian and Roger for a photo shoot and plan the look/setlist for the Bohemian Rhapsody show later this year.

This month it’s the Elvis special and (crossing our fingers) perhaps some NEW MUSIC!

    Now people are thinking Adam Lambert is signed up for Empire the TV show replacing Jussie Smollett. Turning into a Lambert/Levine mess. Even Empire the record company had to put out something.

    Random thought but I’m glad Adam has a new house ready (?) to move into, so it’s a new beginning in that sense as well and he doesn’t have to stay in the house where he spent a dark period, even though he’s now rediscovered the joy and he’s in a good spot in his life

    The new song is gorgeous..I was concerned by the first few notes, seemed very autotuned. Then the pure voice kicks in. Beautiful!
    I was sorry to hear about Adam’s issues.
    it seems to go hand in hand with amazing talent. Ying and yang.

    On NBC World News tonight there was a segment on teenagers and depression. This one teen girl said she felt “numb to the world & she couldn’t feel anything”. Medication & therapy helped her. 7 out of 10 young people experience depression.

    They’re billing it as Queen + Adam Lambert and not trying to entice viewers by throwing in other diva names, and maybe that was a negotiating point that took some time. I hope for the best, mixing it up would dilute the impact of the music to me.
    Like, not mentioning “surprise” guests, etc.

    Adam’s song is so lovely and evocative. Reminds me a bit of his Upright Cabaret torch songs like I Can’t Make You Love Me mixed with the gorgeous acapella gifts he’s given us like Lilac Wine and Summertime. Pure voice, that’s what I asked for in his Instagram chat! Beautiful.

    I think Brian and Roger got what they wanted. Enough time,stage set they want and Adam out front because they didn’t need to do this like it was said. They are rich. Otherwise they wouldn’t waste their time. And I don’t think they get paid do they?
