Adam

January was a quiet month for Adam as he was taking a break from touring with Queen. The tour is starting up again this month as they head to New Zealand and Australia for 10 shows there. It wasn’t all rest though as he let us know that he has new music “simmering”. Hope he’s whipping up something that will be to everyone’s musical taste!

    Adam does true justice to Queen’s music while remaining sensitive and deferential to Freddie’s place in the band and in the hearts of fans. I’ve seen Queen+AL twice, and every moment of those concerts was an absolute privilege.

    Best of all, I loved seeing Adam Lambert performing with his peers. Peers in the art of music. No wonder he accepted Queen’s invitation to be their new singer. He’s equal to the garagantuan task; Queen’s music, while involving major hooks and anthemic crescendoes, is complex.

    I wear a hot pink, 3 piece Dolce & Gabbana, Floral Appliqué suit (that I sat for hours glueing Swarovski crystals to one night)…… I draw very little distinction between dressing for stage verses dressing for life (give or take a few thousand crystals and some eyeshadow).

    That Las Vegas rumor has been around for a few days. Would be nice if it happened but I don’t believe it right now. Looks like the only thing different in what you posted , glambotgram, is the hashtag #residency. Hadn’t heard that before.

    eta: I’ve thought for a while now a residency would be great in LasVegas or New York rather than touring.
