After taking China, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and Australia by storm with his The Original High World Tour, Adam remains in Australia for some special radio events before he heads off to Dubai. The end of the month sees him kicking off the US leg of this tour starting in New York at The Paramount. We can’t wait!!

    Priceless! Smith doesn’t participate or attend any gay themed events, even the one in the UK where Adam won an award and Smith was a no-show, but suddenly he thinks he may be the first to win an Oscar and magnanimously dedicates it to gays worldwide?!?! Oh the pompousity!
    Twitter was buzzing last night (not glamberts mostly either) hating on his performance and the song, too.
    Just another case of mediocrity being awarded in this country IMHO. Seems rampant now.

    SS seems dumb as a stump, with no clue of how he is perceived.
    The song isn’t even that good, and he sang it so painfully.

    His voice sounded so flat, with hardly holding onto any notes. I wonder if he is still having throat issues? Beat Up

    For him to so blatantly speak out like that, is so naive. Especially, for the whole world to hear & see his outpoaring of self indulgence.
    I don’t like watching him sing. To me it is nothing special and I certainly loath his entitlement personna. Smug

    Thank you, twilight! If he actually knew anything about the gay community he mentions when it glorifies him, he would know:
    1) Elton John, Stephen Sondheim, Melissa Etheridge all won Oscars for songs, so he isn’t even #2 as he told British radio.
    2) Ian McKellan was talking about acting of course.
    3) Really? 88 years of Oscars in a country with a population of 330 million and you’re the FIRST gay person to win an Oscar of any kind???? Plus Oscars cover the world, not just USA.
    He literally has no involvement with the gay community or any organisation that allows him to speak for them. Grrrr.
    So glad Adam deleted his SS tweets. Maybe he’s catching on finally.

    I just watched SS performance and I was shocked how horrible it was. I dont like his voice and style at all but THAT was so dreadful…I cant find anything positive not one tiny little bit about his performance. Just want to forget that I ever watched it Beat Up
    And dont get me started on his painfully public suicide. I truly pity his PR. Must be one of the most hated jobs today

    Haha, Cait1602, *sigh* is right! The niceness is strong in Adam, he just can’t help it. And by then he probably read all the s**t being thrown at poor hapless dumbass SS and felt he had to offer some kind of support however generic. He’s been there, but not for that kind of self-congratulation thank goodness.
    I too hope for HTF!!! I think they’ll try to go for a more rockish setlist, maybe Tear It Up too. Hoping for Innuendo, maybe not the whole song but something.
    luval, great recap again, loved the hair too! Never afraid to make fun of himself lol, what a charmer!
    And I want to keep the band forever. Just love it.
