What a January – rave reviews for the concerts in UK and Europe; news about a new label, single and record; and of course, his 33rd birthday! Looks like February will just be Queen and Adam as they tour all month long wrapping up in Sheffield on the 27th. Adam won’t have any time to relax though because it will probably be single and album promotion in March and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the new single!

    cait, there are also other Queen fans who don’t like what’s going on on QueenOnline. I have heard it’s very sick in some places. If you are on facebook, there’s a closed group called QAL fans united. They don’t tolerate any Adam bashing. I joined it earlier to find also positive comments about this collab from Queen fans.

    LadyNorth I just cant understand it. I mean they dont have to like Adam but they should show respect. Respect for his work, his voice and how happy he seemed to make Roger and Brian. How can any Queen Fan not see that?
    Brian and Roger would never do a tour like that if they didnt know Freddie would have more than approved. Hell John Deacon whole heartly agreed to it. Its their life and as so called diehard Queen Fans they should support them. Heck if they cant support them they should just live in the past and not going forward. Its sad that we cant hear what Freddie would have said to those ignorant hateful “supporters” He would have torn them apart. He hated bigots and ignorants. Arrrrgh it just makes me so angry and sad. So so sad to read things like that from Queen Fans…

    I know Cait Big Frown Don’t go there, there are people who don’t listen to any reasonable comments. I know many who have tried. Unfortunately we always have people who have a need to hate something and whose thinking is very black and white. It’s unfortunate if they are the most visible ones on the site. I know its very hard for you as a true fan of Queen and their music, but concentrate on positive which is how wonderful these shows are, how the audiences love them and Adam in concerts, how so many hard-core fans change their minds about Adam after seeing them live together. And some even turn to glamberts. There are millions of Queen fans around the world who still want to hear this music being played live by two members who have been part of creating it all.

    LadyNorth Its hard to ignore so much bullshit that amazing ppl like Dr. Bri, Roger and Adam get hit with. No one deserves anything like that after bringing so much joy back. Music should be a no-hate-zones. But sadly the real world is a cold-hearted bitch, trying to hurt and destroy some precious things

    I had a feeling this might happen. Whether it’s a cold, bronchitis, flu symptoms…it almost always gets worse before getting better.

    wow……he must be really sick….this is a first isn’t it…never cancelled a concert before. i hope it can be rearranged.
    Hope he feels better soon.

    My youngest has just spent the last 2 days on the sofa, sleeping mostly with this flu bug thats going round.

    Good morning HK fan. I believe the discussion was that he’s only cancelled one “thing” since 2009. An interview possibly in Sweden when he was under the weather. I’ll have to check this out.

    Not morning luval…thinking of going to bed!!! Been keeping my daughter company on the sofa most of the weekend. its very tiring doing nothing!!

    LOL…my morning…your night! Yup, I think it’s the first concert. If they should cancel Milan on Tuesday that would give him 4 days off until Stuttgart. Would love to know what it is but guess it’s not my business. The GFG just has to protect his voice for the long term of his career.

    Oh, Poor baby, He must be really sick. I cringed when I saw his Brian using his mic when Brian had the flu. I just hope that he gets better soon. I hope for risky’s sake that he is well enough to perform in Tuesday night, but I know that she would be the first to say that protecting his voice and health is the most important thing. And she and hubby have two more concerts scheduled. I am assuming that he will be better in a week and a half when I see him in Prague. If not, he is really sick, and I don’t even want to think about that possibility Big Frown

    Poor Adam Big Frown I am glad that Brian and Roger care about him so much that they wouldn’t want him to risk his voice… This must be hard for Adam.

    When you peeps talk about flu, is it the same as influenza? And cold is more like a easier thing without fever? I’ve read that the influenza of this season has changed, vaccinations don’t work properly. So many fans who were in London fell quite ill couple of days after returning home, high fever and very sick. Being in big crowds and many public places is not the best thing during flu season.

    I am especially sorry for those fans who traveled from abroad to Belgium for a concert and have never seen Queen or Adam before Frown If they arrange new concert later, it’s more difficult and expensive for them to make new traveling arrangements. I know a person on twitter who is in this situation. She took it very well and feels Adam’s health comes first.

    Thanks rs, I was pretty much thinking so. In Finnish the word that means illness “cold” is flunssa, so that’s why many may talk about having flu in English when they actually have cold. Flu can be very bad for risk groups, but Adam is healthy and young and in great physical condition thanks to his personal trainer. I just hope this is not anything worse.

    Adam sick? I feel so bad for him and the cres. You know Brian will go out of his way and pocket to make it up for them, I hope its just this one and he gets better fast, but you cant mess with the voice, and his health.
    Sam Smith, Pop rock, really? How did he get there and not Adam. I have zero interest in him.
    What a sad situation this all is, bronchitis, thats in the chest, right,? and under Dr orders, he probably wanted to do the show,the Dr pulled him.

    On the International Queen Fans Facebook page, a diehard Queen fan posted a thread saying Queen is not Queen anymore even though he’s seen fans saying Adam is a great singer and that he’s watched vids and they don’t have chemistry and that stuff but he wasn’t being offensive just wanted to get it off his chest. Someone posted a cartoon picture of a lady flogging a dead horse and it is so funny but I don’t know how to bring it here. Same subject killed to death.

    Bronchitis is a serious business for a vocalist and performer of Adam’s caliber. The subsequent cough can linger for weeks. Praying for Adam’s speedy recovery and long term health. Time to return to sunny, warm CA. I think our boy has been “on loan” long enough Smile

    Still dont understand why Queen cant be Queen anymore without Freddie and John? Do Roger and Brian count so little? Never understood the discussion before I even discovered Adam Lambert. They are still them, still the same guys who founded the Band.

    Hell there are bands out there who are still calling them who the fuck knows what without having one founding member in there. And thats okay for the fans. Why are Queen Fans so stubborn?

    I noticed this last night. The most in all the tour I think. Maybe he looked a little pasty because he wasn’t feeling well so needed more makeup.

No it isn’t Queen, of course it isn’t, but who thought it would be ? It is billed as Queen and Adam Lambert and that is exactly what it was. It is as much Adam’s show as it is Brian and Roger’s show, and he put his stamp on it. Yes there were a few cringeworthy moments but overall I thought Adam was great and they had great chemistry together
