What a January – rave reviews for the concerts in UK and Europe; news about a new label, single and record; and of course, his 33rd birthday! Looks like February will just be Queen and Adam as they tour all month long wrapping up in Sheffield on the 27th. Adam won’t have any time to relax though because it will probably be single and album promotion in March and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the new single!

    Yeah, one of those Adam’s obsessed here…
    Love Queen as a group though since I was a teenager… a “few” years ago.. I thought Roger Taylor was kinda cute at that time and love Freddie’s dramatic and powerful performance.

    My favorite is “DSMN”, then comes “BoRap”, and after that , because of Adam ,”Who wants to live forever”.

    As I love too many breakup songs.. I have chosen ” The show must go on” as my anthem after watching Queen with Adam in Kiev, just one day before the Europcup soccer finals a few years ago …

    Adam Lambert had me from the moment I saw his picture on the American Idol website… I loved almost all his performances… but the final knock out was during the press conference he gave back stage after he “lost” the Idol finals… Such great command of the stage and also of the audience (=reporters)…

    These western european concerts are happening while I am sleeping… just near Jakarta… but as I have spent my younger years in Belgium (dutch part), I would try to make the effort to stay awake at 2 am to follow the concert in Brussels… sigh…

    OMG Cait1602! I just realized you’ve never seen Adam live in concert. Girl, you’d better take some smelling salts with you. Or ice water! You’re either gonna faint or go up in flames! Have fun! It is a spectacular show and Adam live is just stunningly gorgeous and a sight to behold! And don’t even talk about his live voice! Fantastic. You’re gonna wonder if he’s real! If you think you’re addicted now, wait til after. You’re gonna want another concert or two or three or four right away! Take this from an Adam Lambert addict…a Glambert for life! Laugh

    I was supposed to be in Milan now. Oh well. Normally at this time of year (last weekend in January) I usually go to the annual Jazz and Blues music festival in Montego Bay which honestly doesn’t have much jazz nor blues music. I’ve spoken about it before here. Was skipping this time to go to QAL. It’s 3 nights with multiple performers. Thursday night is reggae night, friday and saturday night have mixed performers usually American singers and bands with one of those nights having a big name performer. Performers in the past for example include Celine Dion, Kenny Rogers, Earth Wind and Fire, Chicago, John Legend, Gladys Knight, Michael Bolton etc.
    Anyway this year was Mariah Carey on Friday night. Like Celine Dion, think her price was like a million US dollars for the show. They have acts each night starting from 6pm thru 230am.
    It’s open air and can draw up to 20,000 people for the main act night. Anyway friends from here that have just come back and email friends that live there were all saying that she lipsynched the performance and people were disgusted and she got mad when the crowd sang along with her. Diana Ross performed there a few years ago,threw some diva behavior about no cameras nor big screens of her onstage , then lipsynched and she was booed off the stage and had to leave under police escort. Laugh People almost threw stones at her. I was there. Had a good laugh. My people don’t stand for nonsense.
    Anyway my local news tabloid show here in Miami called Deco Drive reported the Mariah Carey in Jamaica lipsynching drama
    and had video, worse of all, she forgot the words to some of the songs she was lipsynching to and they were laughing about it. How embarrassing! Was gonna buy a ticket to her new Vegas show but now I guess I won’t. I’ve heard people say that her voice wasn’t good anymore but now I might have to believe it.

    Just read your cd leak post rs. I haven’t received an Adam google alert yet. Worried.

    A few months ago some Glambert ninjas on twitter were on the search for Adam’s songs, looking a possible code names in copyright filings. I don’t think they realize the impact of a premature release. I hope this free download offer is fake or that his management team has it under control.

    Remember Toronto QAL concert #2 and where we were standing with mils and riskylady. The memory of that will last a long time.

    So I just got home and checked twitter for news of a leak. You would think that if it was real, then twitterverse would have exploded by now, but there was nothing. So I hope that it is a hoax. Maybe someone looking for ways to get people to listen to his own stuff, or God forbid a virus. They are links to downloads of MP3s so who knows what they are?

    I saw that about the Billboard poll, rs. But in the remote, probably never to happen situation…in case the contract is ever signed, I am still voting.

    It’s Super Bowl Fifty so I think this is a big deal for football. They will have loads of “stars” there. Don’t think Brian would ever have invited guests.

    LadyNorth so glad to hear that all what im going through atm is a “normal” reaction lol was a bit worried. I got obsessed with Queen real fast but still this is so much intense. Still totally weird to me sometimes. But feel better that i know it isnt just me Grin

    Dragon Attack is one of my all time favourites. Always gets me to move along, cant sit still, its a really awesome song performed live. It sad that they dont play it in Europe.

    In about 47 hours the wait is finally over. Getting really antsy. Driving my family nuts, planning, packing already. My voice is finally getting better too Grin so im really looking forward to rock with them.
    Already packed about 4 packs of tissues. I cry every night I hear the live streams. I dont even know how im going to react hearing it live, seeing it live, experiencing it. Seeing Queen live is like a dream coming true but now…fuck what is he doing to me…
