What a January – rave reviews for the concerts in UK and Europe; news about a new label, single and record; and of course, his 33rd birthday! Looks like February will just be Queen and Adam as they tour all month long wrapping up in Sheffield on the 27th. Adam won’t have any time to relax though because it will probably be single and album promotion in March and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the new single!

    Rio is a far flight even from here in Miami ladynorth. Think 9 hrs and a $250 visa for a US passport. Ugh.
    Maybe I’ll renew my passport from my country of birth. ROTFL

    What was that whales in Vegas thing you mentioned earlier? Does it have some special meaning, other than that Vegas is in desert…

    Loved that interview from the Brits awards, and good for Adam, mentioning that he had a show with a little band called Queen last night, since the interviewer didn’t bother to say anything about it. Rolls Eyes . Has SS ever said anything about Adam, or is he too full of himself now that he thinks he is above him?

    More Q+AL news/rumors about Rock in Rio in September. Seems that it will be the 30th anniversary of the event and Queen was there to kick it off.
    Still no official announcement though.

    Rio is a definitely a long haul for most of us; unless it’s on your bucket list, in which case, this might provide the perfect opportunity. The temperature at that time of year is pretty supportive of a good time.

    Rio it´s one of the most beautiful cities in the world!!! If they come to Rock in Rio you can all come from Miami to Fortaleza (my city, gorgeous beaches Island ) to meet me Grin . It´s a 7h fight. And then we can all go to Rio! (3h fight). A girl can dream Smile

    Rio would be 2 grand in airfare alone for this fan. Not gonna happen. I’ll save my Adam money for a closer QAL and definitely for Era 3 TOH.

    Although Rio is legendary in Queen history…

    Hi all(ers)s, I’ve burned some CDs and DVDs of the QAL
    New Years show on BBC1. They are pretty good; great, ehhh.
    That said, if anyone wants a set just email your mailing
    address to jlurksacto@yahoo.com. I do international
    (other than US) also. If I already have your address from
    before (Kiev DVD), and you haven’t received the set yet a

    Ron and angel, you guys are making me laugh. My mom has always penciled on her eyebrows, and we have a family pinky swear pact that whenever mom is sick, or in the sun, we have to make sure she has her eyebrows on. When she was a teen it was the fashion to tweeze them one hair thick. They never grew back. She has wanted them tattooed for years, but never had the courage to go through with it.

    I have a co-worker who did it last year. They look fantastic and natural. HE loves them. You go Ron!!

    Does anybody here think that Brian and Roger will debut Adam’s single tomorrow as a favor to him for being their front man on two tours?

    Does anybody here think that there will be any other kinds of surprises in the last show?

    I know at Toronto 2 we had Dragon Attack, and an off the hook insane STL.

    Just wondering.

    jlurks, have been checking my mail since I saw that LadyNorth got a surprise from you. I know that the turtle is very slow in crossing both the Pond and the Med so I didn’t say anything, but since you asked for reminders, if a set isn’t already on the way, I would love one. I made a cd for the car, but it has the annoying break for the fireworks in the middle and I can’t skip it. Thanks so much. You are an angel.

    Knowing they are going to play at Rock in Rio so helps me over my Starting tour-ending depression. Best news today QAL and Rock in Rio… Even if i wont be there. Anyone know if there is a chance of live stream or tv transmittal?

    Cant wait for tonight. Emotional ride alright.
