What a January – rave reviews for the concerts in UK and Europe; news about a new label, single and record; and of course, his 33rd birthday! Looks like February will just be Queen and Adam as they tour all month long wrapping up in Sheffield on the 27th. Adam won’t have any time to relax though because it will probably be single and album promotion in March and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the new single!

    I’m watching the season premiere of “The Amazing Race” on CTV, a Canadian station. A commercial just came on advertising new shows starting in March with lots of clips and someone is singing a song over the promo’s.

    mils, I totally agree with your oh so justified rant. Unfortunately, in the world of Rock, there are some unsavory characters who think that it is hip and cool to be unfiltered and obnoxious, and Monte fits that bill to a T. On the one hand, being the proud mother hen and “protective big sister” fan that I am, I hope that Adam didn’t see Monte’s tirade, but on the other hand, if there is any truth to Monte’s claim that they are on good terms again, I want Adam to be reminded who this sleazeball really is and to cut ties with him for good.

    It appears that there are two versions of this commercial with the one on YouTube running for 30 seconds. The one I saw on TV was a full minute and, with editing, closed with the ending of “Feeling Good” where Adam is wailing those last few notes of the song. Then, both the commercial and Adam dissolve with his last “feeling good”.

    Much more effective because, of course, more Adam is better than less Adam. Wink

    Hope CTV was flooded with phone calls asking “WHO WAS THAT singing during that last commercial you showed?” Big Smile

    milwlovesadam I have to say I was shocked by Monte’s tweets. How can a man with a wife and young children throw out such vile language? I am far from a prude but some of the references he made turned my stomach. Maybe he has decided that being a bad ass rocker gives him carte blanche to say whatever the hell he wants with no repercussions. Such a shame.

    If TOH is part R&B I will be in heaven. I have been hoping we would get a bit of that genre ever since Red House. Praying for more of the R&B and less electric pop.

    riskylady and hubby hope you are feeling better and enjoying being home. Travel is wonderful but nothing is like your own bed when you are sick.

    Hey Ron. I love that CTV is using Adam’s version of Feeling Good. It is definitely my favorite studio version of Adam’s AI songs. I can’t wait to see how much $ our BB will make in 2015. So happy for him and us.

    Yes, “Feeling Good” has always been, will always be, one of my favorites from AI.

    When the commercial started last night, I didn’t think that it could be Adam what with copyright issues, getting permission, and having to pay him for it. As the commercial continued, I thought that they found someone who sounds A LOT like Adam but, at the end, there was no question it was Adam because no one can sing and hold those last notes the way that he does.

    It was an out-of-nowhere, unexpected surprise and makes me wonder what other surprises are we in for this year?

    lol ron, my trips to NA have been largely planned around Adam’s performances lately (and a family wedding thrown in here and there). I will probably come sometime in the summer or the fall, and Toronto is always a stop on my itinerary. We will all be wiser as to our plans as the summer progresses.

    The welcome wagon will be ready for you, rs, and any other Glamberts who feel like making their way to Toronto as part of their 2015 vacation.

    One thing we will have to do is go to the dim sum place we enjoyed with asif and her hubby last summer. It was a hoot-and-a-half.

    Of course, the concert schedule is more likely to be fall/winter but, knowing Adam, there will be a few “one-ofs” before that. Fingers crossed for continuing the tradition of an annual ALL-er get-together.

    Everyone now, please … stop badgering me! ROTFL

    Fact is, I have a full head of hair and haven’t lost hair anywhere else except my eyebrows. It was so sudden! It seems like I woke up one morning a few years ago and my eyebrows were gone.

    Since then, I’ve been drawing them on with eyebrow powder that can smear and accidentally be rubbed off, sweated off. Never liked putting the powder on in the first place let alone wondering if they were still in tact after I’ve been out for a while.

    So tomorrow I’m going to have them tattooed on using what’s called a hair-feathering technique. Takes about 90 minutes to make the eyebrows look very realistic with individual looking fine strands of hair.

    I have 100% confidence in this permanent makeup artist at this exclusive men’s salon (it’s immaculate and looks like a medical clinic) and I’m looking forward to it. No more powder!

    What a good idea ron, I have the same problem and the powder/pencil brows just don’t last and I’m always so self-conscious about them Frown (thus my always too-long bangs). I can’t wait to see your results and maybe I’l copy you; will they let women into that special salon of yours?

    Of course, the reason for my brow sparsity is different from yours and so very stupid! When I was sixteen, I decided it was so tiresome to pluck so why not use a depilatory on those caterpillars above my eyes!? Yep, it worked……and they never fully grew back in Eek! .

    Adam Lambert was a hit as judge. If they ever need a replacement, The American Idol 8 alum is at the top of his list “We really loved him on the show and I know he had a good time too.”.
