Shazam is an app for phones etc that listens to music playing and then tells you what it is. Pretty cool!

Always thought Shazam was a cartoon character. It is great to see CD3 promotions kicking in. How great would it be if riskylady was able to track Adam’s interviews this week and actually meet him? Maybe at the BBC?

Greetings from London everyone. Yes I decided at the last minute to come to Wembley. My friend Dennis is with me. Some of you might remember him from New York. Am staying five minutes from the stadium.
Took a walk and found the trucks. Got talking to a couple of guys there (lighting ) who said after Sheffield the next stop is South America and then maybe some more dates in Europe the demand is so huge.
Had one of the guys take a picture of me hugging the truck. Lol. Maybe I can get it here via Ron.

Eeek, luval! I’m so excited and happy for you! Have a wonderful time with Dennis and the riskies in London! You’re in for a real treat. The QAL show just keeps getting better and better. I’m interested in hearing Dennis’ impressions after the Wembley show and how he thinks that show compares to MSG.
I’m also glad that you had a personal European truck encounter. I was planning to get a good picture for you but failed in my mission. I saw the trucks in Prague but didn’t have my camera. (oops!) We went looking for them at the Krakow Arena but couldn’t find them. We later saw one at a stop light while waiting for the tram after the concert, but it pulled away before I could get a picture.

Tickets from stub hub of course! I remember looking a few weeks ago and there were 36 left. A few days age there were 358!
It’s GA but what the heck. We’ll see what happens.
Adamized and I made it home to Maryland late last night. With the time change, I managed to have a 30 hour birthday. That was a good trick. Thanks to all of you for your birthday wishes. Spending my birthday eve with QAL was fantastic! We also managed to miss a horrible, bitter cold week in Maryland last week. Who would have thought that Prague and Krakow would have been a balmy 30 degrees warmer than Maryland in mid February? Another thing to be grateful to QAL for.
I am very excited about the prospect of more QAL concerts. They are positively addictive! It’s also so enjoyable to have the excuse to go sightseeing in new cities and share the concerts with like minded ALL friends. I loved the time I spent in Prague with adamized, rs, riskylady, riskyhubby, LadyNorth, agathe.hb and her daughter. Joining up with cwm in Krakow was another treat. I would have enjoyed more time in Krakow. I’ll just have to go back.
Also of note…I bought a new QAL program in Krakow on cwm’s advice. It’s the same format as the North American program, but with many new pictures from the NA tour, including a nice white pants photo. The new Adam pictures are gorgeous and well worth the price of the program. So, luval and riskylady, you should seriously consider picking up a European program at Wembley. You won’t be disappointed!

This morning I heard Adam’s song Whataya want from me on the radio (yes they still play it here, although this really is the only song they play from him). Was already wondering if they still played it. They even mentioned him after the song and that he was sick from influenza beginning February (influenza?) and had to cancel shows with Queen in Belgium and Germany (apparently he cancelled another one that we don’t know of).
Even with all the misinformation it was nice to hear that they at least still know who he is and give him some air time. His song was between David Guetta & Sam Martin and our own Anouk with Douwe Bob.
luval, I did GA for one of the Hammersmith shows and it was great! There is nothing like the energy in the middle of a crowd of UK Queen fans when everyone is singing along and doing all the hand movements in unison.

I’m doubly happy for luval because, not only will she see the concert, but going to London, England has been a life long dream. It’s always wonderful, of course, when one can fulfill a dream and have it come true.

Thanks glambot, yes, much better but still weak. Hubby is recovering faster than me, thank goodness. Just got back from a few hours at the British Museum, as we were determined to do at least something! Now we will just rest up for tomorrow. Hope to hear from luval soon. Meeting kinkykiedis and sis for dinner at 5 tomorrow, would be fun to make it a group!

Hi all you ALLer’s, been really enjoying all the pics and videos ,it is so awesome to see so much love for Adam, Brian and Roger. Wow those pics from Zurich,(I was afraid to enlarge #4 !!)
Anyway I wanted to share a couple things with you peeps because I know you can relate to my excitement.
First, remember Lazaro from Season 12, he had a stutter that disappeared when he sang? He is working for my husband and I, we own an organic café and store.
Second, my daughter plays the saxophone in her 6th grade band class and over the weekend she played me the new song they are practicing, We Will Rock You! I told her I would be more than happy to be her backround clapper and foot-stomper!

It’s funny. I was so looking forward to being in Prague (long standing bucket list item) that I hadn’t given any thought to the bit of time that mmm and I were going to spend in Poland with cwm.
I enjoyed Prague and loved having time to spend with Lady North, rs, the Riskys, and mmm222 and was thrilled to meet Agata and her daughter Emily but I was bowled over by Krakow. It was far less crowed than Prague and very beautiful. The people were really nice and the food was outstanding. Our little hotel had a phenomenal breakfast with fresh lox, herring, and whitefish plus all of the standard items. They also provided made to order eggs or thin pancakes with cottage cheese or jam. Thank goodness mmm had a daily agenda of “must see” sights that provided miles and miles of walking on treacherous cobblestones.
Thank you mmm222 from the bottom of my heart for providing the momentum and planning for this trip. It wouldn’t have happened for me without you pushing me along.
