   For the birthday evening one girlfriend got me a McDonald’s Oreo McFlurry and then 6 other girlfriends came over and DH made dinner. Got chocolate cake, french pastries and chocolate covered strawberries. And Pepsi!! Sugar overload!!
   Got chocolates via UPS from suz526 and virtual flowers from AL. Waiting for cds and dvds from jlurksacto. Still have chocolates from Kradamour and ladybugs and Bailey’s Irish Cream from the riskies. Can I say this bedbert is getting fat? Now riskylady is bringing me 50 lbs of goodies! Ladynorth, I thought you said she was bringing something small?! I wish everyone lived near so I could share my treats.

   No Sparkle, should really have had that since it was friday in Lent but instead had ribs, roasted chicken, sweet and sour pork, chicken with mushrooms and spicy crab. Maybe I’ll have the seabass on Sunday. A chinese restaurant not too far away does it so well and fairly cheap for seabass. I have about 12 other close girlfriends that weren’t included last night so I am owed a lot of lunches. cait and skaschep I talk about food all the time and even my concert reviews involve food and food descriptions. I work at a restaurant and am very foodcentric. I get teased here all the time about that.

   riskylady, I feel so badly that you are sick. That sounds like another bronchitis!! Remember lolaglamb in 2012! Please come home safely. rs and ladynorth so happy you are both home safely even though you have bad weather. We had the past two chilly nights here down to 40s but the days have been fabulous and tomorrow is back to 78F.
   mmm222, adamized and cwm, enjoy the concert for us and have a wonderful time.

   Morning cwm, I had such a great time in Prague with my fellow ALLers. The only thing that was missing was having you there with us. I am so sorry that we just missed seeing each other. I know that we both tried to make Zurich work, but it wasn’t good for either of us. Next time…

   Pressure is on. adamized and mmm222 have made it clear that they are expecting me to be the good luck charm that brings us an Adam encounter on the streets of Krakow.

   I’m keeping my eyes peeled, but no sightings as of yet. Only about about 4 hours to go before Adam needs to be at soundcheck.

   Maybe he’ll be at the castle, where we’re headed next!

    cwm, I hope that you are the good luck charm. I was at the same Dali and Warhol exhibit that Adam went to, on the same day, probably near the same time, noonish on the day of the show, and I even took a photo of the same Dali sculpture that he sent out on instagram! While I was there I was thinking that he would love the show and imagining how I would approach him and what I would say if I saw him there. You can imagine my reaction when I saw that instagram! (glad he went to the exhibit but so frustrated that I didn’t bump into him there!)

    cher: Longest and furthest I’ve been with crutches and back. Very tiring. Don’t know how skaschep did it in a concert arena.

    It was very tiring but it was completely worth it seeing Queen + AL perform. And I was able to put my foot down while I was walking with the crutches. I can imagine you had to completely rely on the crutches with your foot in the air? That is a lot more tiring.

    Glad you are doing better though and that you had a great birthday. Don’t excuse yourself of talking about food every time. That doesn’t bother me.

    I’ll probably won’t make it to the stream tonight by the way. I’m with my parents at the moment and have to restrain myself a bit with the Adam things (my mother isn’t that into the Q+AL thing). Tonight my sister (my only and the one I went to the concert with) and her husband will come and visit as well so won’t be able to chat. Maybe I’ll convince them to listen though. We’ll see.

    I just heard from adamized that my summer QAL bracelets were worn in Prague, and today in Krakow. Love that!! So glad they are getting some mileage!

    Gotta go, tons of errands on this Saturday morning, hopefully home in time for the show.

    I’m on the twitter lis for the show, but I’ve discovered that unfortunately I’ve been racking up mega-charges on my data roaming (you don’t want to know how much), even though I thought it was only using wifi. Something is apparently wrong with my phone. Anyway, probably won’t be tweeting from the venue like I had hoped, but I’ll tweet out pictures (and hopefully some video) when we get back to the hotel room.

    The end of the tour is sad and this week will definitely be a bit of a tearjerker. So glad to know that new music is on the horizon and we can expect to see a promotional cycle that keeps Adam on our radar. I bet he will be glad to see warmer weather, though. (Won’t we all? This winter has either been deep freeze or lots of shovelling.)

    Cher you are a lucky little duck to have so many friends to see you through a very tough time. Friends are earned and you have made many. Good to think that you will be on your feet soon.

    What is it about Queen and London? Almost all of us got a bug in London for QAL 2012. If we didn’t have it when we got there, we brought it home and it was a doozy. It took months for some of us to get better, especially little duchess and the duke. The damp doesn’t help.

    Sleep in, drink lots of fluids and rest up for the concerts, riskylady.

    Looks as though Nile’s tweet to Adam re: Elton John’s Oscar party is playing out as promised. In attached video, David Furnish confirms that Nile and band will be performing. It would have been cool to see Adam and Diana Ross perform a duet. Of course, there’s always next year.

    Riskylady is feeling better but now riskyhubby is down. Luckily Wembley isn’t until Tuesday so time to recuperate. Then a long trip home Wednesday.
