What a January – rave reviews for the concerts in UK and Europe; news about a new label, single and record; and of course, his 33rd birthday! Looks like February will just be Queen and Adam as they tour all month long wrapping up in Sheffield on the 27th. Adam won’t have any time to relax though because it will probably be single and album promotion in March and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the new single!

    Greetings from Prague! I keep trying to find time to post, but I’ve been so busy touring Prague, socializing, and berting with my merry band of ALLers, that there hasn’t been any time. Needless to say, we’re having a blast! Adamized and I are taking the train to Krakow tomorrow where we’ll be meeting cwm for part 2 of this adventure. I promise to give proper recaps of both the Prague and Krakow shows the first chance I get.

    I haven’t told an Adam story in a while. But I have one today, I’ve been sitting on it a couple of days, but I have time to write about it now.

    I have a wonderful co-worker, she’s funny, she’s a little bit of a perv, we get along well. LOL. She loves a rock concert, and goes to a lot of festivals, her husband loves Rush. ( yuck ) but, she does too.

    So, for Valentine’s Day, he surprised her with a couple of tickets to a touring “Legends of Rock” type show, which is kind of Vegas-y, and she was telling us about it Monday morning.

    She had so much praise for her hubby for planning this, we all gave her hubby kudos for his skills, how sweet and thoughtful, what abilities to plan and surprise her with something she actually liked, etc.

    She was gushing about how talented the musicians were, how great the covers were, etc. Then, she said it.

    ( laughing here at the memory )

    “And they did the best Bohemian Rhapsody I’ve ever heard. You know, that song by Queen. Remember it? They were the best ever. Nothing has ever been so good in my opinion.”

    Okay, so here’s the funny part.

    I, Mils, actually showed some self-restraint. I know, I know, those of you who know me are probably quite incredulous at this point, “Mils, holding back??” This doesn’t make sense at all. Not at all I tell ‘ya.”

    All I did was smile, grin, nod and tell her I’m so glad she had such a great time on Valentine’s Day. However, one of my work-Berts was also there.

    She and I walked out of the room together, whilst she was squeezing my arm, laughing and we ducked into a corner together and collapsed giggling. She was all ” OMG, you saw fucking Queen live three times this summer, you heard Ka-Ween and ADAM LAMBERT killll Bohemian Rhapsody live three times, how did you hold back????????????””

    I just told her I didn’t want to ruin her night.

    But, we all know who owns, rules, and does BoRap. Don’t we???

    The only funny Bert story I have was , when a primary school boy was playing on the computer a Fan-made cartoon video of the cartoon “Naruto”…with Adam’s “Runnin” (the whole song) in the background… and I did not recognize it at first… but I was like ” nice song.. who is the singer ?” Shame on me LOL…

    And I wore my Adam Lambert T-shirt from the We-are-Glamily Tour yesterday to one of my workplaces… Not really working though that day.. just hanging around…

    Yesterday was actually a national holiday in my place: Chinese New Year (even though most of us don’t celebrate it, but it is nice to have a day off)

    Funny story. My oldest sister :the one that was counting the threads on Adam’s brown/gold pants at the Toronto concert…
    last week she was reading online that Adam was sick and that the Brussels concert had been cancelled…so she’s in front of the computer saying “Oh no oh no oh no!” over and over again which brought her family rushing over thinking that something bad had happened and they asked in a panic “What’s wrong?”. She sadly replied, “Adam’s sick!” They looked at her, shook their heads, rolled their eyes and said “Oh.” Then walked away. Grin

    Thanks again HKfan. Today is the day EST! Am I 29 again? I guess so! Smile Hmmm. Not partying this time around but a few girlfriends have invited themselves over later this evening. I would stay in my nightgown when they come over but I bet they’ll take a pic and I’ll never live it down. I have been very antisocial since my surgery only allowing a handful of people to visit and mainly only friends that have been taking turns changing my bandages. I couldn’t open the door for them anyway and DH is usually only home later in the night so that was a good excuse. Yep, believe it or not, I have been antisocial and pretty much informed all my friends via Facebook back then that I appreciated the good wishes etc but I wasn’t up to visitors. Lots of grumbling but worked well. I have had a lot of time to think and reevaluate my life but wouldn’t change a thing and my Adam addiction is still alive and well after 6 years. I love my Glambert friends and this blog. Haven’t been antisocial here. Actually much more chatty than my normal lurker self. Smile
