What a January – rave reviews for the concerts in UK and Europe; news about a new label, single and record; and of course, his 33rd birthday! Looks like February will just be Queen and Adam as they tour all month long wrapping up in Sheffield on the 27th. Adam won’t have any time to relax though because it will probably be single and album promotion in March and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the new single!

    Just watched Wed. night’s Idol, group rounds of Hollywood Week. They are given a limited song list. For me, the best song of the night, the one that gave good voices a chance to soar was Queen’s STL. I imagine that most of the contestants at this point couldn’t have pulled that song off.

    Glad to see you are recovering well. What did you break?

    skaschep, sprained my left ankle and broke three places in my right foot and ankle. I messed up really good. On my first visit the surgeon took one look at my xrays and said 3 months for you to walk again and surgery first thing tomorrow morning!! It was already 330pm that day! I was horrified and very depressed but had to live with it. He said no Milan. So when he told me two days ago that I could start PT after seeing my newest xray, I almost asked if he was looking at the correct xray. I restrained myself from asking though because I was so thrilled. As mils has recommended I shall be taking a painkiller before I go to PT today. No livestream for me. Cry
    Sorry about your knee injury. At least you were doing a sport when you got injured. I was just plain blind and clumsy not seeing the step. Make sure you get a good surgeon. Not sure how much choice you have but try to get one that specialises in sports medicine and is well recommended. ( for athletes) I am also sorry you have to wait so long to have your surgery. That must hurt constantly. My broken foot only hurt when I went in for checkups and the doc messed with it and for two days after it hurt like heck but then no pain until I went in again. You are brave to have gone to the concert on crutches. I can’t go far in crutches. I’d fall and break something else for sure.
    Please take care of yourself. We can mother hen you now too. Smile

    cher how great to hear you are soon on your feet Big Smile You’ve been a good patient! And to be able to go through those painful physio session, I can hint that when riskylady returns to American ground, she might have something small for you… Wink And thank you, I am safe but not completely healthy… My cold is a bit better than yesterday, no need for nap. I just steamed myself in a mild sauna.

    I also enjoy a great deal of new babyberts here. Although they seem to grow extremely fast! But so sorry skaschep for your injury. Hope you to get to surgeon soon to get rid of the pain…

    Just got home from a very sweet, funny surprise lol…My boyfriend and I, his brother and girlfriend and my boyfriends best friend and wife were planning for weeks to go out tonight. What i didnt know…we were going to a Queen Tribute concert.
    The tickets for the tribute cncert were bought in August ( we got the tickets for QAL in December lol )…I was laughing so hard that I had tears running down my face. It was so sweet that he planned all that since August but the fact that I saw QAL 10 days ago made this all just so surreal.

    Still it was fun, a very nice evening and kind of a big Queen song party.

    Help me.

    I’m lost in Ralf Otmuller’s vids. Such great audio. And the video is like seeing a concert from a little higher up. It gives you a chance to see the whole show. Not that Adam up close isn’t delicious, but, the audio on this is like a real concert. Especially when turned up to 11, and nobody else is home.

    Lovin’ every single minute of it. The audience, the and his voice is so facking strong.

    That’s it.

    He really isn’t human.

    Absolutely disgusted that there is more terrorism…Denmark. The country whose king during WWII evacuated Jews to safety in Sweden, and wore the yellow star in support, when Nazi’s made Jews wear yellow stars. Lately, Jews have been afraid to wear skullcaps in public, and are warned not to appear in traditional dress in public for fear of attacks. How times have changed…

    ETA: Copenahgen is 3 hours 32 minutes by train from Herning.

    It’s hard for me to stay up and post and for a long 5-10 minutes I just don’t know what to say.
    I haven’t watched or read much of the QAL concerts recently. Some days I just don’t want to turn on my lap top.

    One of the bigger carnival parade in Germany was cancelled due to a terror threat. Yesterday the attack in Denmark. You just hear war, terror, murder, attacks, sorrow…

    Makes me rethink my own small little problems, more thankful of the life I am living, thinking about the poor souls out there living a life in terror and fear.

    The Stuttgarter Zeitung review was updated. Posted it in the Stuttgart thread. Please don’t read Cait. It didn’t get any better. Even worse actually.

    How the hell can people write a review if they aren’t at the concert? Furthermore if you look at all the professional photographs around these articles it looks like they only take pictures of the first part. Until the first costume change. We only see Adam in the leather outfit and not in the rest. Do they all leave in the middle of the concert?

    skaschep Professional photographers typically are only allowed to stay for the first three songs. It is a pretty standard arrangement.

    I am addicted. Addicted to his voice. Even when I hear Queen songs with Freddies voice in it – my mind supplies Adams voice, making up some kind of weird duett in my mind…its crazy
