What a January – rave reviews for the concerts in UK and Europe; news about a new label, single and record; and of course, his 33rd birthday! Looks like February will just be Queen and Adam as they tour all month long wrapping up in Sheffield on the 27th. Adam won’t have any time to relax though because it will probably be single and album promotion in March and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the new single!

    I am really glad for our fav guys to have 3 days off, I needed these days too to regroup, process and rewatch. But now im really looking forward to tomorrows performance in Stuttgart.

    @Cait-hope you enjoyed Adam’s Upright Caberet stuff. Those are my listen without wanting to bounce around (I say that because I can’t dance) songs. Of course then Broken open or stay pops up and next thing I know its 4 am and I’m still awake.

    As far as Milan: I watched the video stream (at 2 am so that whatever emotions I experienced were only known by me) up until it started to skip through the songs. Save me I think it was, which is ironically where the tears surfaced for me in the stream. I went and found a video for Save Me (I always go and find the video with the best view after a concert) found WWTLF, clicked on it to check the view and I had to mute it, seeing the emotion in his body was enough to get me let alone hear him so I understand completely.

    I know I’ll listen to it one day because it is a beautiful thing but it will take a while. Hearing that concert takes me right back to the emotions I felt during it, which partially means being so proud of him I end up crying.

    Excited for Stuttgart though for some reason I thought it was today. Hope your feeling okay today. Smile

    rs I know Pain Have been in bed the whole afternoon and evening, slept many hours. I don’t have fever or cough, but this headache is killing me… My colds are usually like this. I did my ice hole swim on Monday, it usually keeps any colds away but I guess worrying about Adam and too little sleep this week was too much for my immune system. But if I am lucky this is over by Prague. Probably better to cancel massage tomorrow.

    Cait, you are so very welcome. I am delighted that you and sweetpea found your way here at my suggestion. And this really is a special place. We are a global family (the sun never sets on ALL posters, lol), all ages, all professions, religions and political views. We even occasionally differ on our opinions where Adam is concerned. But we always try and be respectful of each other and never sink into the kind of arguments that you see on other fan sites. Just nice, caring people taking their cue from the man they adore!

    Sweetpea Hey Smile hope you are ok? We are just not used to such a “long” break between concerts. They spoiled us way too much. I wonder how its going to be in March after all this QAL has calmed down a bit and we are waiting for April and new single.

    Still same with Milan for me. Pics ok, vids a no-go atm. Concentrating on older stuff. I loved the Upright songs. So so pretty.

    I showed my Mum some stuff last week, QAL vids and solo. She was really impressed with “Come to me, bend to me”. A few days later, without even talking about Adam she told me, she had thought alot about his voice and music and he should definitely make a album with Christmas songs. That really threw me first for a look and directly into a laughing/coughing fit. Literally left me without breath. So not fun while having bronchitis. Really…she hears his voice and all she can think about is Christmas? Eek! My dad was more than annoyed about my mum bringing up Adam Lambert. He was glad I wasnt talking about QAL for once and then my mother came along lol I loved it!

    @Cait-the part with your mom literally made me laugh out loud. Christmas huh?? Driving us nuts with WWL, to grabbing our hearts with WWTLF to Christmas-hmm. No really I’m just teasing Adam sounds really good on the Come to me, Bend to me I love it too. I’s think he’d be a little bored if he went that direction though, maybe. Though I’m good with whatever way he takes his music, as long as he’s happy I’ll buy it.

    So sorry she sent you into a laughing fit. Been there I had pneumonia a couple years ago and while by some maricle I felt fine. I did anything I could not to laugh. Unfortunately that also meant not listening to Adam/Freddie/Queen so much because I sing along without even thinking. Tough to do when your coughing every 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

    One other thing to anyone at all. Probably a dumb question but how do I bold the persons name so it’s easier to find? Does it do it when it posts with the “B” even though it doesn’t show when I’m writing?

    sweetpeabert……the easiest way is just to highlight the word or words you want to bold, and press the B icon.
    the word will appear to you with arrows, and the words strong either side of it to you, you won’t actually see the bold until you post.

    Sweetpea It is awful not singing along, no laughing etc. Cant wait till I can finally sing totally wrong along again. I miss that lol

    The winter-virus is bad this yeah. Now with Carnival starting up it may get even worse. I hope everyone will stay healthy! It is a bitch this year

    Sweetpeabert Been watching some of the show too. First some of Frankfurt. Man what was he working hard to pull that one off. At the end not much came out of him, but he still pulled it through and they mostly loved it. Felt really sorry for him not being able to perform as he can.

    On the Milan video’s you can see that he himself is relieved in some way as well. He isn’t completely recovered yet as he let’s the audience sing along quite some too, but it is way better again. The singing goes so much easier again. I love the interaction between Adam and Brian also and the taking care of Adam from both Roger and Brian in the vocals.

    Hope he’s completely recovered for Stuttgart again.

    I think some of what gets me with Frankfurt is it’s the first time he isn’t enjoying what he’s doing. He’s doing it purely for the fans and whatever else mumbo jumbo legal stuff. Understandably so, but even the other shows he has a cold through Glamnation it still looks like he loves what he does. This time he struggles through to give us his all like always but by the end he literally has nothing left to give. Tough to hear let alone watch,

    Milan on the other hand will be my happy place for a long time. Some times I’m in a crappy mood and go to certain videos concerts to reverse thst. Milan will be one of those for a long time. Even though it probably wouldn’t be Adam’s favorite- he would see what he wasn’t able to do. I see it as the opposite everyone, the boys, the audience, Glamily on twitter, everyone was with him even most of the stream. Most people would of cancelled a full week or more and Adam was able to pull off one of the best concerts as far as atmosphere I’ve ever seen, so what if it took a little help. That’s what everyone’s there for. <3

    I like that in the photo with Freddie, Brian has black hair and a white outfit. With Adam, he has white hair and a black outfit! Still has running shoes in both though!

    Methinks the only thing that would stop our guy from doing a Christmas album would be his disdain for doing a covers album at this point in his career ( reason he left RCA ).

    However, who knows what the future will hold??

    Lol, of course, being Jewish has never stopped singers from making Christmas albums, but at least at this point, Adam has no desire to make one, and when people kept pressing him about it, his answer (to get out of it) was, I’m Jewish!

    Hi all. I have great news! All this bed confinement and behaving myself has the doctor pleased and I start physical therapy evaluation later today. Unfortunately it’s during the concert. Frown Oh well health first right? Doc says foot ( well my new bionic foot) looks really good on xray and that if PT goes well I’ll be walking again in one month instead of two! I still have to keep the foot up as much as possible of course with the boot on. Can’t go to work either since I don’t have a desk job and would just be in the way since I can only get around on crutches and a wheelchair for now. I really am looking forward to walking and driving and being independent again. And DH too! I know he’s tired of looking after this invalid. Grin PT is gonna hurt though. Cry I shall dutifully take my pain med before I go. I soon won’t be a bedbert anymore! YAY!! Getting ready for ERA3!!

    skaschep, sweetpeabert, cait, it’s so cute to see you new babyberts here. Even when the concerts in Europe/UK are finished you have years of vids to catch up on. You still won’t have much rest. Then ERA3 starts and the ride begins again. Look forward to sharing past, current and future berting with y’all. Yes
    And don’t be like me. Look carefully up and down when you walk. Don’t miss steps as I did. Broken bones are horrible at any age. UGH

    Thanks a lot cher. Unfortunately I’ve been confined to the couch somewhat as well. I play volleyball and about 5 weeks ago I hurt my knee during a match. The day before the Amsterdam concert I got diagnosed with a completely torn anterior cruciate ligament. Further my medial meniscus was injured as well and my upper leg bone was bruised due to the impact. I went to the Amsterdam concert on crutches and was on medication for the pain. I’m still a bit sad that I got distracted during the show every now and then because of this. Fortunately there is a lot of footage available to make up for that somewhat.

    I do have a desk job however so I can work. Either at work (driving there by taxi) or at home with the laptop on my lap. Just not the amount of hours that I used to and I also had to push back my study which would have started last week. I’m waiting for surgery now which hopefully will take place in about 3-6 weeks. Until then the meniscus will continue to hurt probably so I’m comforting myself with some nice Adam video’s about every evening.

    Glad to see you are recovering well. What did you brake?

    Oh skaschep (we have to find a shorter nickname for you!) so sorry to hear about your injury and pain Big Frown, but what a dedicated Glambert/Queen fan you are to have gone to the concert anyway. I just hope that you didn’t do any more damage while there. It must have been hard not to dance Dance. Keep us posted about your surgery and recovery. As you can see, the ALL family is about much more than just Adam, although he is what brought us here and the glue that keeps us together Big Smile
