January seemed to just zip by. It was, of course, Adam’s birthday month but he also managed to get in some skiing (or après-skiing), some parties and even rehearsing new music. This month Adam is set to perform at the Family Equality Council Awards on Feb. 8. He also will be back on Glee on Feb. 25 and there is even a rumor that he will be on Idol later this month as well. It looks like this month will zip right by too – and that gets us closer to a possible Q+AL tour and new music!

    If it is true, there could be problems, in terms of judges “fraternizing” with contestants.

    FYI, tried the European country poll with all answers geared to UK and it came up so the survey does have some logic. Maybe when our answers send too mixed a message it coughs up something out of left field. The way it looks at the moment, we won’t be able to get together in the US this summer because half of us are bound for Eastern Europe.

    I dunno, I think some big assumptions are being made about what Adam and April did or did not do on the basis of that Instagram video that is practically impossible to understand. We don’t know what was said before the recording started, or after it ended, whether it was a joke or exaggeration or boasting for attention or laughs, and what we do hear is barely comprehensible. I’m taking it all with a huge grain of salt and dismissed it immediately when I first heard it. Adam is very professional and very smart, and I seriously doubt he would do something that would jeopardize a contestant. Even if they did have a “moment” of mutual attraction after the judging was over, it’s important to note that anything that would have happened, if it even did, would have been after Adam was done being a judge. And, like aely said, this is RPDR we’re talking about, not AI. LOL Full of bawdiness, naughtiness, hyperbole, and innuendo.

    Way too many good things happening for Adam right now to be distracted by or fretful about this, IMO! Adam was beautiful, charmingly flirtatious, and witty on the show, and his appearance was a big win for him and the audience of RPDR. End of story for me! IMHO of course. Smile

    I love this show. Anyone see Jimmy Fallon last night? Paul Rudd was the guest and they did a lipsync sing-off. In the spirit of RuPaul’s drag race here they are…Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now at about 4:00. Audience goes nuts. The whole video is great, though.

    Was reading this about the cult of the German tenor, Jonas Kaufmann. Apparently, the inexplicable fame of some performers applies to classical music as well as pop:

    cwm Agree. It is a non issue if they hooked up or not. Who cares? To me, it was really clear what April said but, like I said last night, who knows what the context was or what the follow up questions were.

    I have kind of been following her tweets and it sure sounds like nothing happened but she would like to hook up. Either way, no big deal.

    Guys, I really don’t care if they hooked up or not. I probably should have put some more punctuation or emoticons into my post last night.

    Adam is clearly a very sexual creature. Let’s face it, we certainly love this aspect of him as much as any other!

    I just don’t like to see people bragging about doing him. If they did. So what. I always thought there was some kind of agreement about not saying things in public.

    Moving on.

    Had a super-fun moment today. I met an Elvis Impersonator. Seriously. I showed him the Shades of Elvis info, he instantly bookmarked it and thanked me soooo much!

    So here’s the cool part. He saw Adam in the video, and literally about jumped out of his seat!! He said he loves the guy!!

    So, I asked him if he’s seen anything of Adam’s since Idol. He showed me, bookmarked, the long video we all love of all of Adam’s Idol performances, and the whole GN Live.

    I showed him how to find some Queen stuff, he was literally gleaming with excitement. I can’t wait to get to work tomorrow to find out if he watched any of it.

    He’s a 50 year old married straight man. And he loves our guy.

    Hopefully it will be like a snowball rolling down a hill picking up speed. Announcement…maybe picked up by tv show. Is Kimmel on ABC?…maybe Iheart. One faction realizes how epic it is, then everyone wants to jump on the band wagon.

    And this year, I’ll get to plan which Q+AL I’ll attend.

    OK, announcement on NYC’s Q1043 (biggest rock station in the country), went something like this “We have just learned that Brian May & Roger Taylor of Queen will be in NYC next week to announce tour dates, with Adam Lambert fronting the band. Apparently, they had so much fun at the Iheart Radio Festival in Las Vegas, they’ve decided to go ahead with a tour.
