After wrapping up January with a benefit concert in New York City, Adam will have a couple of weeks off before his international Trespassing tour kicks off on February 17th in Seoul, South Korea. This show will be followed by six concerts in Japan, taking Adam and company up through the end of the month. The tour will continue in March through the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Russia and finally to Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Still no word of any additional concerts beyond March 22, so it appears unlikely at this point that we will see a full Trespassing tour here in North America.

cwm, I’m sorry about your father’s death and the loss for your family. So glad you shared that with us…you are among friends here.
I, too, have been away since Monday. My brother’s family and I have been in Nashville visiting my mother’s 93 year old sister (and her 67 year old caregiver son) both of whom we all love very much. She has dementia and most of her conversation consisted of “What am I supposed to be doing?” over and over. But she knew us and we’re sure she knew that we were there because we still love her as we always have. If not, WE knew we were there because we love them. I totally agree that NOW is a good time to let people know that we love them.
Take it easy on yourself. This will take some time to get thru and have some peace with your loss.

I’m possessed or obsessed or both with the song that he sang last night! I never heard of it before and have to know that I’m a little behind the times as the video for it on YouTube has been viewed 373,072,539 times!
I could only guess that it’s called “Somebody That I Used To Know” and, sure enough, that’s it.
I think I see where Kimbra from “Gotye” might have had some influence on Charlie and his appearance.
I have to stop! I keep playing this over and over again!!

Awww CWM So sorry to hear about your dad. Mine passed fairly young (61) in 1993 quite suddenly and it’s still tough. My mom now has early Alzheimers’ and it’s hard to accept. My deepest sympathies and sending hugs to you and your family.
hahaha, ron, you are behind the times. That song (Somebody I used to Know) is one of the most over-played and over-covered songs of the year! I first saw it on Glee. I know that most people are sick and tired of it, but I still like it and I love that video! It is mesmerizing, and one of the few that I watch all the way through without getting bored and turning them off.
And I did love Charlie Askew’s introduction and version of the song.
I have been off the grid here, since before the holidays. I have been trying to catch up, which is a humungous endeavor!
cwm My heart goes out to you my dear. So heartbreaking to lose a parent. When it’s a sudden passing, it just hits you like a knife.
When my father unexpectedly passed away at 56, it really was a shock to us, his surviving seven children and my mother.
I am a widow of 2 years, and I am still in shock of loosing him so unexpectedly. With no real serious health issues, and under a doctor’s care. Loosing your very best friend and life-mate, is an unmeasurable loss.
His last kiss & smile, keeps going over & over in my head.

Yes, that Somebody That I Used to Know has been out for months. It is haunting. I remember liking it for awhile, then getting angry when it was played every 5 minutes and nothing from Trespassing was played. I believe it’s up for a Grammy. I’d be surprised if Gotye ever has another hit. But wow that is a huge number of youtube hits!
I guess they are rehearsing. Really tired of duck lips.

Unf-believable! Today I received my Fiasco magazine with AFL on the cover!!! I had received an email a long time ago saying they could not guarantee I would get the issue with him on the cover, but that I would get an issue that at least had his interview inside it. Then I got a notice saying I would not be getting any issue because the supplier had underestimated the demand…no surprise there…so I had given up hope. Then…Ta Da…today it arrived! As someone on this thread says, “Amazeballs”!!! Wonders never cease!

I think I must be feeling a little better because Nile’s series of tweets to Adam really lifted my heart and made me smile. He is such a Glambert, and a warm, wonderful human being, and I love his love for Adam.

Have to admit in being a dummy but I don’t understand Adam’s tweet.
Does this mean he likes Springsteen? Never thought in a million years he would listen to his music. Or met him or just thinks the words to his music are “real” and that is what Adam admires?

I remember hearing Philadelphia for the first time and was so moved. I have seen Bruce 3 times. He’s fine although the last concert with him (three hours!) & a guitar on stage was a little “sleepy” .
