After wrapping up January with a benefit concert in New York City, Adam will have a couple of weeks off before his international Trespassing tour kicks off on February 17th in Seoul, South Korea. This show will be followed by six concerts in Japan, taking Adam and company up through the end of the month. The tour will continue in March through the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Russia and finally to Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Still no word of any additional concerts beyond March 22, so it appears unlikely at this point that we will see a full Trespassing tour here in North America.

Thanks, luval. I’m longwinded so it took me a while to write it all out. We thought of you while we were there. We were wondering if David Bowie would show up at the concert. Then we were hoping to run into him on the street while we were wandering about. No such luck! And no off site Adam sightings either.
Trying valiantly to catch up but it’s hopeless, too much to do to catch up in RL.
But wanted to post how much I loved the episode of “Ron’s Runway”!
What I loved best was the graceful strut and how the clothing moved so well, THAT is what makes long coats so wonderful, and Ron knows how to show off the clothing to best advantage.
When I saw your post, Ron, I thought “uh, oh, this might be cringeworth” but I have just finished watching the video about a half dozen times, enjoyed it so much! Thank you!
I was thinking the same thing about David Bowie…whether he’d be there. So many connections to him and Nile.

What I saw on YT was a disappointing performance by Beyonce. Vocals OK, but dancing amateurish. Not very exciting.

Ultima, I didn’t watch it, don’t care that much for Beyonce although I do like Kelly Rowland. But for me, Prince was the best a few years back in Miami, performed through a major downpour.
Saw the vid over there and it was much better – but, like you,riskylady, not a huge fan of her voice although there’s one song I really like, “If I Were a Boy.” Think she did a fine job and everyone seemed to enjoy it. (Her dancing, though, seems to consist of squatting and stomping – not very graceful – JLo far better.)

In addition to the Adam/China comment in Forbes, there is at least one other suggestion that Adam’s foray into China has been noted. In this month’s Vanity Fair, there is a mock conversation between Nikki Minaj and Thomas Friedman about the Chinese market. Being the internationalist that he is, Friedman urges her to “find her extra”: “what your Barbz won’t do, a Chinese girl in Zhengzhou will”.
At one point he uses the phrase “not so much”, which reminded me of Eber. I couldn’t help wondering if the humorist who wrote it, David Kamp, is a Glambert.

I watched the vid of Beyonce at SuperBowl. I think she has a great voice, but I’m not very interested in her music. Some good slow songs though. I’ve seen before on tv her previous show, that show was in NY late summer 2011 I think (she was already pregnant) and dancing was much better then. Maybe not as good fit yet after having a child? But I think this SB show was ok for the large stadium, a lot of dancers who moved in sync. But I was certainly not thrilled.
Re earlier discussion about arena concerts – I would rather see Adam at smaller venues than Wembley
It was interesting to hear about the situation in US – I could believe what luval said that these days most artists don’t sell very big venues. My guy said only some old heavy metal bands (and Madonna and Bruce Springsteen) sell out Olympic stadiums these days – they are so called long term stars. I’m still a bit surprised that Adam has sold so well his coming concert in Finland. Capacity is 13000, there are still tickets left but less than 1000. So he performs at the same arena than Rihanna, Pink, Bieber etc. But the fact is there is no rock/pop concert venue size between 3000 (Adam’s last concert here) and that 13 000!

When there will next Adam shows in Europe, it would be nice to have traveling company! What I’ve learned recently is that Finnish “hard-core” fandom is pretty tight, they organize a lot of other happenings too, not only going to concerts. Cruises, parties etc. People who travel abroad for concerts are usually older fans, over 25. I haven’t met anyone yet, so it will be nice to meet people. There’s not a sandbox, only occasional short talks in twitter. I like to read longer thoughts and info too than 140 letters 
LadyNorth I think that’s the same situation everywhere – the 2000+/- seat concert hall or the enormous 10,000+ seat arena. For me. I’d far rather go to the 2000-seat venue. Although I saw Leonard Cohen at our 20,000 seat sports arena recently and I was impressed with the sound system. I hadn’t gone to a big show in years and they certainly have improved the audio. I suspect if Adam wants to tour in small venues, he’ll have to limit the size of his
entourage, or he won’t make much money.
This video is kind of a train wreck, but I hadn’t seen it and I was amazed by the fact that the AMAs were part of the conversation in fricking MAY 2012! most of the comments/interactions are very interesting. If it is already commonly known, pardon my post!

Kradmour, I just watched the video, and I must say that they will be asking Adam about the AMAs for ever, its part of who he is, and alto we have heard a lot about it, I hope some day, Adam writes a book or memoirs or does a movie like the Fetus did and he can get into all his feelings that day before and after it happened, and actually what went on. They did rehearse everything, we saw the rehearsal tapes, heard Ryan S for days set him up, with you wont believe what happens at the end of the show with Adam Lambert, I really believe they set him up, and for things he did in the past this was mild, but the public was sure not ready for this. Alto it did make him famous. What if it didnt happen, what then??? Sorry for rehashing it, I was even shocked watching it on live TV just couldnt believe it was our nice Adam from AI and he was all out there. Imagine what people that werent following him thought. Of course the people that are entertainers didnt think anything of it. And like he said girls can get away with it, just not men. JMO of course!

I’m surprised that with the amount of flying Adam does he is not sick more often. Prolly flying first class gives him some shelter from coughing, sneezing and generally sick passengers.
There is nothing like a plane to get everyone sick. I got the worst flu in my life flying from Cancun to NY.In September.

Yes Ceddies it’s tomorrow. I only have about 3 more hours to be able to say that I’m 60. At midnight, I’ll be … well, I’ll be going back to “29” I think from now on!
I had tomorrow afternoon all mapped out in mind. I was going to do something I’ve never done before … have my hair professionally colored with highlights added. The person that cuts my hair and who would also do the coloring doesn’t work on Tuesdays though. I have to wait until Wednesday.

These were their responses when I told them I was going to have it colored white with silver and grey highlights. I got the sense that they didn’t like the idea.
They kind of talked me out of it. 
I don’t know what it’s going to end up looking like but we’ll come up with something. But it won’t be anywhere near white.

Now it’s official. It’s February 5th but it isn’t official-official until 9:55am. That’s the time on my birth certificate. I planned it that way. I wanted to be born in the morning.
