After wrapping up January with a benefit concert in New York City, Adam will have a couple of weeks off before his international Trespassing tour kicks off on February 17th in Seoul, South Korea. This show will be followed by six concerts in Japan, taking Adam and company up through the end of the month. The tour will continue in March through the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Russia and finally to Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Still no word of any additional concerts beyond March 22, so it appears unlikely at this point that we will see a full Trespassing tour here in North America.

Someone said in twitter that the problem in Manila has been poor and messed up promo (no promo?). I’m really sorry for the fans, if I am correct Philippines is one of those countries where Adam was very popular… I hope all the other ones go fine. Every country has their own way how to do it I think. A Russian fan told that there it’s a habit that people buy tickets pretty close to the concert. Here the organizer did tv & radio promo right before tix came for sale, and we know there will be next round again during two weeks before the concert. But many radio stations have mentioned lately that the concert is sold out, they haven’t been informed about new tix released later. So active fans have been informing radio stations and we got posters from the organizer and fans have spread them around the country. I did my share in my own home town…
Active fans know about the concerts but for the casual fans and goers it’s crucial to get advertisements of the concerts!

rs, thanks for highlighting that NYT article. I read it earlier, it is sad and also very infuriating that good citizens of this country who have done nothing wrong and in fact have done everything right are being forced out because of legalized discrimination.
Unless the Supreme Court overturns DOMA, Adam and Sauli will likely face this issue at some point. I doubt that Sauli would be able to get a permanent work visa here. Eventually he won’t be able to stay here on tourist or temporary work visas anymore and will have to return to Europe for a while. Hopefully DOMA will be found unconstitutional, allowing the visa rules to be changed to allow same-sex partners to sponsor their spouses for green cards.
In other news, I have removed the Philippines concert from the Upcoming Shows list. With all of the venue changes followed by cancellation, I’m assuming that this was due to a disorganized or poorly funded local promoter. Adam sold quite well there for the GNT, hopefully ticket sales didn’t drop off that badly this time around.

I posted on the Seoul thread my thoughts about the concert (A++++!) and that I’d put together a video. I explained there that I was hesitant to post it because I’d been
guzzling down boozepolitely sipping on cocktails all afternoon.The “gang” wasn’t able to get together for a little birthday celebration for me hosted by TLKC until yesterday.
The best gift was the fact that we were able to be together. I didn’t expect presents!! I didn’t expect that at all! Let alone a birthday cake!

For some reason, it starts mid-sentence.
At one point, I briefly hold up a DVD and say that I haven’t watched it yet. But, that was last night. I’ve watched it.
It begins with a slide show from Ste.-Agathe, the SpaWatel Inn, then footage of the crowds and who do I see in, around, and among these slide photos? nkd, TLKC, Kradamour, luval and others! Don’t blink, but there you are!
After the slide show is the entire concert. Not culled together in bits and pieces from YouTube but the whole show from beginning to end.
LOVE the framed photos (jlurksacto, you’re in there) and I love my thoughtful, caring friends. It was a great afternoon.
P.S. TLKC hasn’t been posting because she needs a new modem. Actually, it’s her computer that needs a new modem. Her modem is just fine!
