After wrapping up January with a benefit concert in New York City, Adam will have a couple of weeks off before his international Trespassing tour kicks off on February 17th in Seoul, South Korea. This show will be followed by six concerts in Japan, taking Adam and company up through the end of the month. The tour will continue in March through the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Russia and finally to Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Still no word of any additional concerts beyond March 22, so it appears unlikely at this point that we will see a full Trespassing tour here in North America.

I am so incredibly sick of “Home.” It’s everywhere all the time. Radio. TV. Commercials. All. The. Time. And I never liked it to start with in the first place.

It is 8:02pm EST Friday where I am.
It is 10:01am Saturday in Seoul S. Korea
Krad – I use MOG ($4.95) a month – get full albums (no ads, of course) – higher quality sound – have just about any music you want. iTunes also has dozens of radio stations – specializing in anything from opera to jazz. If you have decent speakers, you’re in business. No need to live in a musical desert.
I quite like Home, but then I haven’t overdosed on it, only heard it a few times……haven’t seen any of the commercials, Olympic stuff etc using it. And I’ve never heard it on the radio I listene to (i.e Energy, a couple of other UK radio stations).
Its quiet on here today…
True, Ulti, and I have a logitech squeezebox in the kitchen but I usually listen to French talk radio or current French pop.
When I would listen to music would be in the car and I don’t drive enough to make it worthwhile to get a sirius etc. enabled radio, so that is my wasteland. So I just listen to NPR talk, usually at least bearable. I can go for weeks on end and not listen to any music. I guess that is odd, hadn’t really thought about it.

Turquoisewaters…my bet is no chance of livestream but excellent chance of video. I work with a really cute nurse from South Korea ( who knows who Adam is!)and she is very very tech savy. She just got back from a vacation in Seoul visiting her family and was sad she missed Adam by a couple of weeks. She thinks there will be filming unless the venue doesn’t allow it.

“Map” is just gorgeous. My sweet seven-year-old Anna, sitting here when I played the video, says, “I love that song,” and then proceeds to sing all the words perfectly.
Anna and Olivia live about an hour away and, when I pick them up, they take turns playing “DJ” with my 6,000-plus-song iPod (One Direction is popular -lol). Never interfere with their choices, but they play the boy a lot. Anna’s other favorite is “Chokehold” – surprised me on that.
Girls like all the ones not included in the regular U.S. release – five songs in all. Wonder how these releases are chosen.

Flipped pictures like that on the left always make me curious as to how he can get away with looking “normal.” Most people don’t look quite like themselves when flipped. Actually left one very different in feeling than the right “sunnier” one, I think.

I think if anything it goes to show how important the instrumentation/effects can be to support a song. (And I’m one who usually can do very well without any effects.) Muse are a complete master of this. I have turned into quite a fan since I went to their concert. Their sound was just unbelievable. But I think in the end I believe every artist needs to find his/her own style, and there is space for all. My own taste is very unscientific and it includes besides Adam and Muse also Prince and Boy George, Lana del Rey and Tristan Prettyman, Adele and Emili Sande, Pink Martini… A complete mess.
