After wrapping up January with a benefit concert in New York City, Adam will have a couple of weeks off before his international Trespassing tour kicks off on February 17th in Seoul, South Korea. This show will be followed by six concerts in Japan, taking Adam and company up through the end of the month. The tour will continue in March through the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Russia and finally to Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Still no word of any additional concerts beyond March 22, so it appears unlikely at this point that we will see a full Trespassing tour here in North America.

Next month is my BD month … and I’m flying out to Asia.
It’s 1/2 a month late and I’m going to a wrong country where no Adam Concerts to see.
But if I werk it, werk it, werk it hard … there is a posible one concert … in Singapore … I’d love to go.
The chance now is zero. But I’ll werk hard.
Wish me luck. I need it.
And that’s it. I’ll report the result in Part Two. I don’t know when.

Why We Do NOT Celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Dinelle-Hayes Household
Catchy title, isn’t it?
Once upon a time, in 1979 (!), I bought a very large bag of perfectly shaped red hearts in all different sizes. As the time approached for Mr. Dinelle to come home from work, I began to make a path of hearts on the floor. Starting with the smallest at the front door, I continued laying hearts in, around and through the apartment that culminated in the bedroom.
You might wonder what was at the end of this path of hearts leading to the bedroom.
Me.
There I was, standing in my birthday suit, holding the largest heart in front of my … in front of myself.
The timing was perfect! I’m in my designated spot just when I hear a key at the front door. I hear a man’s amused voice mumble something in the front hallway so I assumed it was Gil.
As his footsteps came closer to the bedroom, I suddenly realized that I felt very silly. (So unlike me, I know). But it was supposed to be silly … silly, fun and funny.
Gil is holding a bouquet of flowers when he enters and sees me. He starts to laugh and I laugh with him. We both laugh together for a bit and then I stopped.
But he didn’t!
He continued to laugh and laugh some more and wouldn’t stop!
This was not good!
This wasn’t the plan.
It was supposed to be funny but it wasn’t supposed to be that funny!!!
Bottom line, I threw on a bathrobe, put the flowers in a vase, we had dinner and have never mentioned Valentine’s Day again for the next 34 years.
(I know I said I was going to leave the other avatar in place for a while but … I lied.)
nkd .. I’ve seen Adam live once … his GNT at Midland Theatre in Kansas City.
So I’m not a virgin … teehee..
But everything was blurry to me. So fast and so surreal. I was at General Admission, standing about 12 row deep .. couldn’t see well … 5 feet tall without heels, some peeps spilt beer on me.
Later on I found out the Phelps family were outside.
They came when we all already went inside.
Monte came down from the stage.
My memory was better from watching fans’ videos from that concert.
My daughter was in Korea then, so I took her friend with me, gifted her the concert ticket, FYE CD, and anything at the merch for her HS graduation.
She doesn’t smoke)
When we walked out after the concert, she said she wanted to smoke. (Haha ..
Since then she’s been a Glambert.

I think unless you are young and hopelessly in love, Valentine’s day is just about the most obnoxious, cruel holiday there is. Ask any of my students who did not get a red heart balloon today. (I didn’t either.) So this one is for all of us.
I just clicked on cher’s link…I hadn’t seen or heard Philip Philips before, so I clicked on the link to his vid…wow. I really love “Home”. Can totally imagine it on the radio, so I assume it is successful? It made my ears happy. Not brilliant, just very pleasant to listen to.
The dhernandez with Sauli in the picture posted previously was a favorite of mine on Idol. He got voted off just before the top ten as he was outed by his former employer. He was not only a bartender-waiter at a gay bar but did some stripping. He would have really been good on the tour as talented and had some moves. It may be a good reason that Adam kept pretty quite on Idol at first. Many fans guessed he was gay but some didn’t want to believe it till he actually said it. I believe Davids former employer was either mad at him for quiting or had a thing for him and was upset that he left. Anyway the connection he may have with Sauli is that he is also a gymnast. I follow David on twitter and he is doing guite well doing club dates, reviews, tours and opening for other artist. He seems like the kind that Sauli would mesh with as he seems alway upbeat and nice. My favorite of his on Idol was “Papa was a rollin stone” it’s on U-tube if anyone is interested. Krad, I’ve said earlier that I liked “Home” and it is ear worm. It has sold over 4 million now.

ITA – Valentine’s day has become a Hallmark Holiday, another day to buy things and to make peeps feel depressed if they don’t have the perfect Hallmark Holiday.
But it is a wonderful oppy to share the love one feels with friends, and I see more and more of my friends using it for this and sending affectionate emails or perhaps even a card.
I like that a LOT!

Wow, nekkid, I guess I’ve been living under a rock…the only radio I listen to now is NPR, all the stations make me crazy. Sometimes I listen to our 1920s radio (yes, it plays music from the 1920s…) but I haven’t listened to current music for months.
And of course I don’t have a TV.
I wish that Adam had released something with an earworm as a single. Oh, well.

We both laughed, I put on my robe, and then I remember looking after the 12, the dozen roses, that Gil gave to me!
I really had forgotten this until now (it was 34 years ago!) but I’d prepared one of my specialities … Hungarian Goulash … and we had a candlelit dinner with wine and music and it really is a special memory.
We never did anything like that again.
Ron: I only have a friend from college times in Toronto, so it’s not like I go there every other week. But the way the timing of that trip last year worked out with Adam the same day in Toronto as I, I thought I’ll give it a shot to track you down. I still remember walking down the street on the off chance of finding you, seeing the group of Adam fans and thinking: That one must be Ron. Almost forgot about Adam. Good memories. And met TLCK and Northern Spirit on the side. It was all so surreal. Cyberspace meets reality.
I don’t want Adam’s airplane to be dinged by that annoying meteor that’s hurtling towards Earth.
Has he landed yet?
