After wrapping up January with a benefit concert in New York City, Adam will have a couple of weeks off before his international Trespassing tour kicks off on February 17th in Seoul, South Korea. This show will be followed by six concerts in Japan, taking Adam and company up through the end of the month. The tour will continue in March through the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Jakarta, Russia and finally to Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Still no word of any additional concerts beyond March 22, so it appears unlikely at this point that we will see a full Trespassing tour here in North America.

Or, the reverse, that they are waiting like a bunch of piranhas for him to pull another AMA scenario. Oh. Wouldn’t they just skin him alive and serve the filets to Perez if he did.
Or it’s pressure from the industry to be “normal”…fit in with the rest of the pop performers of today. Which of course means no make-up, no visibly holding hands with the boyfriend, no ruffling any feathers, not being who you are… just being safe.

I think more weight is being given this portion of Sparro’s introduction than was intended. It could very well have been scripted but it also sounded off the cuff and spontaneous to me.
I’m sure that Adam has been pressured throughout all of his life to be this, or be that, or the other thing. But he won’t be pressured into doing anything that goes against the grain of the person that he is today.
When Adam became a finalist on AI, Leila pressured him to tone things down a bit … maybe not wear nail polish or eyeliner.
The TPTB on AI pressured Adam to conform to “normal” standards and therefore it follows suit that his record label has pressured Adam to be their vision of what they think that he should be.
I don’t think Adam feels pressured at all. What we might perceive as being pressured, I think that Adam looks upon the same things as … suggestions.

One thing that I am sure about … I have much nicer looking thighs than Jennifer Lopez!! A big plus in my favor is that mine doesn’t look like a tree trunk.

I thought he said he wasn’t going to the Grammys because he needed to pack for his trip the next day (today). It’s already the 12th in Korea, and he won’t arrive until the 13th, only gives him 4 days to overcome jetlag and get in good shape, familiarize surroundings, rehearse, etc. for concert in a totally new country. And those 4 days to me would be most necessary since he will be on that side of the world for a while and we know how jetlag affects Adam.

Adam under pressure? Adam always being himself? Sometimes I think he should have hired Lee Cherry to be his manager. Wasn’t it Lee who refused to let him wear the flaming headdress at the Zodiac show? Sometimes I think Adam could use just the teeniest bit of pushback; perhaps things would have gone/go smoother if he occasionally listened to others.
Like getting his album out sooner. But he always owns his decisions, never blames anyone else and doesn’t seem miserable with his chosen path.

So as far as we know Adam didn’t take Sauli to any of the three parties this past weekend. Goes to show that he’s serious about not mixing work with fun. So he doesn’t bring his significant other to work.
